In case you hadn’t noticed, this is an election year, and a rather important one gun rights-wise. That’s why Ruger is rolling out the latest in their Collector Series of 10/22 rifles with the flag-draped Vote 2020 10/22.

In addition to the stars and stripes finish, the Vote 2020 10/22 comes with a few extras like enhanced sights, a pre-mounted Picatinny rail and a threaded barrel.

That 15-slot rail gives you plenty of room to mount your favorite optic or red dot (patriotic finish is up to you).

Here’s the Vote 2020 10/22 mounted with a few sections of the modular Odin Works NAV 22 modular suppressor.

If that’s not enough to get you excited about exercising the franchise in November, the Vote 2020 10/22 also comes with a sporty lapel button, a customized Ruger Vote 2020 street sign (perfect for dressing up your shop or man cave) and a $25 gift certificate to ShopRuger.com.

Like most guns these days, look for the Vote Ruger 10/22 to be in high demand between now and election day. The rifle will be retailing for about $325. Just be sure to leave it in the car when you cast your ballot.

  1. Not into painting guns like that but the Ruger 10/22 is ALWAYS needed in every gun owner’s collection. Mine is about 50 years old and still my favorite gun among many, and yeah I bought it new. That was long before they crossed the $100 mark!

My preference is the original metal butt plate and barrel band and a simple wood stock, no laminates or plastic. I’ve tried the Butler Creek folding stock, went back to the wood. Had a scope on it for a while, went back to the original sights.

Have worn out magazines and the gun still shoots as well as I can, meaning it can shoot better!

    Buy one already!

      • Relevant: I can’t win the Ruger as described because threaded barrel + New York State. Coming more broadly to a country near you, Enuf…

      • All you people who were fooled into supporting Trump in the 2016 GOP Convention are to blame for this mess. Now we have an anti-American President ignoring his job whie our enemies grow stronger and a disease kills people.

No, you already know the answer to your bullshit question. I’ll keep my guns, if Biden wins I’ll fight back on his anti-gun agenda and feel damned glad that at least I don’t have to worry about that scumbag Trump fucking with my country any longer.

        If Trump loses of course.

PS Last bought a Ruger 10/22 in December 2018. Cabela’s sale $180 with the basic wood stock. Added a $30 coupon they sent me for my Cabela’s Black level MasterCard. So got it fot $150. It’s my daughter’s first gun and she’s a fine shot with it, must say.

She’ll also be keeping her Ruger 10/22, and will also vote against Trump. Among other gun owners I know who cherish this Republic far higher that this party shit you people are loving so stupidly.

        Hard life, ain’t it?

        • We are voting central planner vs central planner at this point. You are wasting your breath.

        • Politics is mostly the art of picking the lesser of evils as there no trustworthy / honest politicians at the upper levels, never mind finding one who is in alignment with your own views. Its Trump vs Warren or Harris at this point, not a hard decision.

        • Well good luck with your wasted vote. I don’t think your principles will help you when the leftists put you up against a wall. But, at least, you can die with a clean conscious because you didn’t vote AGAINST Democrats.

And whether you realize it or not, voting for anyone other than the GOP candidate for president IS a vote for Democrats. Your vote for a third party is going to be countered by 2 votes by illegal immigrants.

I’d vote for Satan himself if thought it would prevent Joe Biden from becoming POTUS. You are a complete fool.

        • Last Christmas i bought three Savage rascal .22 rifles for my kids. Caught them on a black friday deal for 149.00 . After i used the mail in rebate and another online rebate i ended up getting two for 50.00 each and one for 40.00 . Not bad for a rifle that usually sells for over 200.00 . They are made in Canada and all three will shoot one ragged bullet hole at 50 yards. As for Ruger 10/22s, i have three in the safe.

      • “Are you planning on turning yours in when if your man biden wins this election?”

        *BURN*… 😉

Biden cannot have any of them. Why you would imagine he would is beyond me.

Do you think Biden is Gandalf? You know, the Wizard?

Or maybe Harry Potter, the grown up one? Will Harry be waving his magic wand to make all the guns pile up in Old Joe’s Basement?

        • “Biden cannot have any of them. Why you would imagine he would is beyond me.”

Do you ever read the posts that you write here? 🙂

    • If there is someone running that represents your interests better than Trump, you should absolutely vote for that candidate. The polarization of left and right politics is down to moderate Americans not making their voices heard though the place to do it is the primary.

Though Trump is a man I would not welcome at my dinner table, I will proudly vote for him on Election Day as I am unaware of any small government fiscally responsible Candidate that respects the constitution including 2A and loves America.

If someone like Ross Perot or Ron Paul was running they would have my vote and I wouldn’t feel guilty one bit if Trump lost to Biden by one vote, but that’s not the world I live in. Honestly, it doesn’t seem to matter who gets elected much due to all the animosity towards our brothers and sisters coming to a boiling point.

I love America and I care deeply about my neighbors and wish everyone success, but petulant children who think they are entitled to deficit spending socialist programs and that human rights are something that can be given and taken by government will be forced to see the err of their ways or find some way to shackle me. I was born a free man and I’ll be damned if I die a slave.

Other than that, I should get a 10/22. Grew up with a marlin 60 but I’m low on .22s in my collection. Was going to play with my cmmg conversion but it started raining hard.

        • You want to live with a silly ass parliamentary (failure) system move to oncegreatbritain. Two party system works better than anything conceived by man in the last few thousand years/ever.

          Join the real world.

      • Ross Perot. Ron Paul. I volunteered for both campaigns. Nothing but good memories….except for losing. 😉

        • I supported Nixon in ’68, volunteered on Reagan’s first run at President (he won) and Perot in ’92. Have never supported another candidate, only opposed. Quit the GOP over GWB in 2000 and have been independent ever since.

Trump is the worst thing to happen to this country since George the Third. Maybe we’ll be lucky and be rid of him this November. Maybe we won’t. I’m not making any predictions, not taking any bets.

        • Enuf,

Yup. Supported Regan. Still think Nixon was a fine President. Subscribe to Roger Stone’s interpretation that his fall was an engineered coup.

GWB was the worst President in US history…until Obama.

          Always considered myself an independent.

So, we have a lot in common…but differ widely, and, in your case, ferociously, regarding Trump.

        • I don’t at all think that Nixon was had by any conspiracy except that in his own mind… but he was one of the better presidents in modern history if you look at his foreign policy. It’s too bad about his paranoia and lurch towards wanting to be an elected dictator (yes, there are such things) instead of President.

He was also one of the last GOP winning candidates not to try and engage with an anti-intellectual populist message to win doofus votes. I guess GHWB was the last other I can think of… and he ended up with only one term.

        • enuf: “Have never supported another candidate, only opposed.”

Well now we know where your crazy strategy comes from. This way, you’re never let down. It’s easier for you to hate than put yourself out there again and end up heartbroken. Well, either that or you watch too much CNN and MSNBC (I used to watch CNN and think I was informed too). 😉

I supported Perot as well. Believe it or not, I’ve always been an independent that leaned left. I decided to vote republican in early 2016 (before the primaries) simply because the democrats didn’t have a strategy to get the economy going. Then the democrats lost their ever-loving mind. I can’t imagine ever supporting those crazies again.

      • Vote. It’s by “secret” ballot, for now. Maybe we’ll get lucky and a Socialist Republic will win power? {change you can believe in, or else}. Just remember, A Socialist Republic will not be bound by The Democratic Republic’s Constitution. Their laws, their way, by decree, subject to change at a moments notice. Two class society, the socialist elite, and the rest of us. Social programs and Socialist rule are not one and the same.

        • “It’s by “secret” ballot, for now.”

Serious question. How can mail in ballots be secret?

    • I really like the Butler creek folding stock. Though my latest 10/22 pistol build from last year was in a PMACA Crimson Red chassis with TI 8″ finned threaded barrel, TAPCO SAW grip, SB Tactical pistol brace and an AB Arms folding adapter. The GSG 110 round drum works flawlessly as long as it is loaded properly. Very fun gun.

I have both the wood stock and the Butler creek, and an 18 inch barrel. But I have not switched it to rifle configuration, and lately I have been thinking I should build those out as complete rifles.

      • It’s a strategy for helping to fight for your rights and to save this country. You just don’t understand it because you aren’t insane.

    • The Lincoln Project…

Ironic since Lincoln, may he rot in hell, was a mad dictator who violated the Constitution. Quite possible and probable that he gave his wife Syphilis causing her insanity to match his.

Little intelligence and why Seward, the SecState, was able to manipulate him and cause the war. Too bad Seward survived assignation attempts.

  2. Right now, I do not own any rifles. A Remington 870, 2 Glocks, and a Ruger LCP 2 ( the 7 +1 model).

Would like a rifle. Just not sure which.

Money will be very tight for a while (family medical), so, time to think about it.

    • A fairly plain Ruger AR that was going for $500 is now $850. If that’s what you want, you could probably pick one up for $500 (or less for a PSA) next year. However, if Biden wins, I think there will be another prolonged buying spree.

You could always get a Marlin Model 60 for about $130, or hope to find a Ruger 10/22 on sale.

  3. While I can see leaving it the car when you cast your vote. Rifles are hard to conceal. I voted at the Courthouse last year. With my Shield neatly concealed on my hip. Concealed means Concealed. 3.2.1…
As for the 10/22. Excellent rifle. Shot a few never owned one. i opted for a much rarer duck.
An Iver Johnson U.S. Carbine Caliber 22. Looks like a M1 Carbine. No idea how many rounds it’s had through it. I bought it in 87 and it still shoots great. Keep Your Powder Dry

  4. I already have three 10/22s (an All Weather (stainless with black composite), a Takedown (in camo) and a carbine (blue steel and wood stock)) and don’t expect to buy another. But they are fun.

  5. One of those guns on my list (without paint) but one I can live without while prices are what they are.

Sure, my lever-action isn’t the same thing, but for .22 plinking I think I enjoy it more anyway.

  6. I find it fascinating that most on this list are offended by an American citizen kneeling during the playback of the Star-Spangled Banner but all think this ‘flag draped‘ Ruger 10/22 is just so great.

You know, US code actually prohibits this self-serving use of “Old Glory” to sell their products:

“manufacture, sell, expose for sale, or to public view, or give away or have in possession for sale, or to be given away or for use for any purpose, any article or substance being an article of merchandise, or a receptacle for merchandise or article or thing for carrying or transporting merchandise, upon which shall have been printed, painted, attached, or otherwise placed a representation of any such flag, standard, colors, or ensign, to advertise, call attention to, decorate, mark, or distinguish the article or substance on which so placed shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100 or by imprisonment for not more than thirty days, or both, in the discretion of the court.“

Of course, commercial exploitation of the American flag by many POTG is not really all that surprising, given their advocacy for the ‘stars and bars‘, the flag of the American traitors. (designed by a Frenchy, sacreblue!)

    • Speaking of traitors, miner, there’s an armed insurrection against the legally elected .gov in many cities across America right now. Will you renounce or continue to support the antifa/blm/fascists?

What they are doing is no different from what davis and lee did.

      • Civil disobedience and even violent protest against authoritarian brutality is not an armed insurrection. A riot is the language of the oppressed, the legitimate voice of we the people.

And the infidelity and betrayal of men like Lee, Stuart,Beauregard, etc. is the true outrage, the very definition of treason. They swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of United States, but had mental reservations, reserving their ultimate allegiance to the institution of slavery.

        • Translation. When my side is doing it it’s okay. Anybody else does it and its horrible.

Language of the Oppressed? All those white kids in those colleges are oppressed?

I’m willing to bet, miner, you’re eyes are brown. Because you are full of shit.

  7. This just in:

Here’s some info on the Austin Texas shooting,

A statement from the shooters attorney:

“It has now been confirmed by several witnesses that this individual with the assault rifle then began to raise the assault rifle toward Sgt. Perry,” the news release said. “It was only then that Sgt. Perry, who carried a handgun in his car for his own protection while driving strangers in the ride share program, fired on the person to protect his own life.”

There it is, he did not point the rifle, “he began to raise the rifle”.

Can’t shoot somebody because you think they might point a gun at you.

    • He’s standing right there, gun in hand. He’s raising the gun. When do you shoot? After he’s killed you?

What color is the sky on your world?

      • You wait until his finger is about to pull the trigger, then you shoot the gun out of his hands and shoot him in the leg, avoiding any arteries. Why can’t you gun nuts ever do that?

      • Of course, this matter will be decided by the courts, but I find your attitude surprising.

His own attorney admitted that he was not under lethal threat when he killed Garrett Foster.

As they say, see you in court!

    • You can, actually.

Let’s you and I go out to a paintball field (or we could use simunitions if you spring for them!). We’ll stand about 10 feet apart and you can be the good guy in a white hat. You have to wait for me to aim my gun (that I’m holding) at you before you can respond.

Think you’re gonna win that race? Not a chance… unless I miss. In the time it takes me to raise a gun you have to see me doing it, realize what I’m doing, decide what to do about it, and act. Unless you have superhuman reactions you will fail. Action beats reaction.

This may be why people who carry guns to events like this- leftist or rightist- must be extremely careful what they do and how they act. When you bring a gun to a fight it becomes a gunfight.

  8. Running a composite Boyds stock on mine. I think the only original part still on it is the receiver.

  9. I see there are a few Trump hates on here. Being a Gun owner and a Trump hater to me is an oxymoron!! Maybe these people are bi polar!!!

    • More like North-polar…. maybe they believe that Santa Claus won’t take their toys away after the mail in votes are (mis)counted.

    • Why would anybody hate president for life Donald Trump?

“WASHINGTON — The vote to renominate President Donald Trump is set to be conducted in private later this month, without members of the press present, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Convention said, citing the coronavirus.”

      That’s just so… transparent.

Actually, many people are saying that’s just like Wayne Lapierre’s nomination.

      • With guys like you standing firm with and making excuses for the traitors in antifa and blm he just might become President for Life.

Will it be a proud moment for you when he’s sworn in? You will have made it possible.

    • maybe we don’t like him because he is a statist. His banned bumpstocks, and is in support of banning homemade guns and suppressors. He used power to ban bumpstocks, but not to repeal gun laws. he isn’t fighting for us. All gun laws are infringements

    • “Being a Gun owner and a Trump hater to me is an oxymoron!!”

Because you are in a cult. And boy is it a stupid one.

No one should ever trust a politician but some of you really are exactly as slavish as Trump said- that he could “stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters”

  10. And another genius POTG advocating to ignore property owners rights.

“NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -According to Nitro Police Department, Dennis Franklin Lanham II, 27, has been arrested after refusing to leave Walmart.

Police say Lanham was carrying a pistol and a shotgun.

He was asked by store associates and Nitro Police Department to leave, but refused.

Dispatchers say Lanham was not threatening anyone with the guns. He is being charged with trespassing.”

  11. Off the many subjects above… Is there a binary trig avai!able for mini 14 ranch?? They look like they’d be so much fun shooting old frying pansl!!!
