Yeah, I’m pretty sure she’d say that a normal old handgun is ok (for her and state approved individuals) but assault weapons (essentially semi-auto long guns with quickly detachable magazines?) are not needed for defense. I would think that given her apparent situation of being terrorized by a criminal gang, an “assault weapon” would be just the thing she needs for protection. What do I know? (Maybe a Saiga 12?)
Since the 2nd A is about defense against the government, naturally the government will be against it.

We already knew she was a hypocrite considering that she swore an oath to protect the Constitution and is always trying to create laws that are clearly unconstitutional. She is an enemy of the State as I’m concerned and should be removed from office.
Now… the trick is… to get enough Kalifornians to realize how much she doesn’t care about them or their safety and vote her out of office FAST.
Most urban Californians are liberal democrats who hate guns. They have the red-neck Republicans outnumbered 2 to 1. DiFi has a lock on the job that will expire when she does. Sad but true. To make matters worse, the Democrats have a supermajority in both houses of the State Assembly, with a “bullet button” ban and a new ammo registration law (one defeated, one vetoed last session) soon to be filed.
I wonder who trained the hag to handle firearms. In almost every picture I’ve seen of her with a firearm, her finger/claw is wrapped around the trigger. That finger-handle thing that goes back..
She received her firearms training courtesy of the San Francisco Police Department back when she was a mere Supervisor, i.e., before she was Mayor and before she became a Senator. She had a S&W .38 snubby, which she very publicly turned in after she moved to D.C. (perhaps due in part to the fact that her CCW was no longer any good?) She used the opportunity of turning in her gun to call for gun control–fancy that. In any event, she did have documented death threats from a radical group at the time she obtained her CCW. So the question is, is she a hypocrite, or did she just change her mind?
Last I heard (Sept 2011), there were no CCWs currently issued by the County of San Francisco to anyone.

People see what they want to see and are way too emotional even to listen to our side at this point. I just try to calmly present facts, because anti-gun folks generally don’t even know enough about guns to understand what our side is saying (like, the AWB making standard pistol magazines illegal).
We all knew DiFi HAD a permit. It’s not clear that she does now. Not that it matters much, more as a point of clarity.
Listening to the audio, it sounds like she may have admitted to carrying in a hospital, which we all know is a gun free zone. So not only is she a hypocrite but may have broken a few laws she probably voted for.

I have never listened to Mark Levin before. Thanks. I’ve bookmarked his site. DiFi has claimed that she has since had that handgun given to her melted down and presented it as a gift to the Dali Lama. I doubt an elitist like DiFi hasn’t replaced that gun with another one since only American royalty in her mind deserve guns. DiFi was able to get a CC permit in San Francisco while others could not; not even others who had stalkers after them or retail store owners who have been victims of robbery multiple times located in dangerous San Francisco neighborhoods.
If I remember correctly she is one of only two or four who have been issued CCW from San Francisco.

Gun Control has nothing to do with guns. Its about control. That’s the liberal mindset. We’ll tell you how big of a soda you can drink, how many calories you can eat, how big of a car you can drive, where you can smoke. If her gun bill gets close to passing, I’ll write an amendment for our conservative Mississippi Senators to sponsor – banning all handgun carry by bodyguards, celebrities, politicians, judges, and off duty cops. I do not care if you feel the AR 15 type of firearms are needed . I own several what you would call assault type firearms . Well several is a rather low number actually . More like around 30 or so . Not sure of the real number as 30 may not be high enough.
