That’s a lot of coin. Are these also made in China?
I know that Bushnell made crappy Chinese scopes for a lot of years, but in past ~5 or so they’ve stepped up their game and have a pretty full range of scopes. I think the glass on these is made in Japan (I have an older XRS, and it was made in Japan) and IMO matches up with pretty much anything out there. That said, I totally understand the desire to own a US Optics or Nightforce or whatever if you’re dropping $3k+ on a scope.
I believe they’re made by LOW of Japan. GA Precision has them on their website for $2,249.00.

The Engage scope I bought this spring is stamped ‘Made In China’, but that doesn’t mean the glass is. Seems like a pretty solid scope with good glass, though.
These scopes are made in Japan.
The ERS FDE 3.5 x21 G2 that’s crammed in my bag is also Japanese glass. It’s decent, but NightForce, US Optics, and S&B are better. Nice magnification range, though. And it’s built like a tank.
And a scant 37.8oz. 😉
Overland Park is like Beverly Hills. A bunch of Uber wealthy fat cats. I wouldn’t pay 3K for a Chinese made scope knowing it feeds that beast.

Would expect a 56mm objective for that coin…you know for a little more light gathering. I’m pretty sure optics have plateaued in terms of light transmission/ clarity, so is their 50mm offering, especially at 30x power, going to really set a new bar for performance. Thanks, but I’ll wait for eval and reviews to reveal things that are probably already benchmarked at higher performance level by other competitors. For less than the price of one of these, I was able to acquire 2 new Steiner TX5i’s with promo throw levers and Tenebraex flip covers…and newer ones had (ve) promos with Spuhr mounts.
Not banging on Bushnell, but some big claims they’re making and they’re playing in some big kid sandboxes now with the claims.
I have to stay away from bushnell. I had a range finder 5 years old and they failed in there warrenty. No could fix, offered to sell me another one. The range finder was plus $300.00 cost. Not again for me other scopes are warrenty better, just saying
