Brownells trolls Dick's Sporting Goods T-Shirt
Brownells

You have to love a company with a sense of humor. When Walmart decided to try to appease the hoplophobic harridans of the civilian disarmament community by dropping sales of handgun and AR ammunition, Iowa-based Brownells cut loose with this bit of sartorial awesomeness . . .

Now, in honor of Dick’s Sporting Goods CEO Ed Stack taking to national television — again — to let America know that Dick’s is still very much Dick’s, the Grinnell brain trust has introduced their latest creation . . .

You can get one of your own here. You’ll no doubt be seeing them around the range in the not too distant future.

  1. It’s always rather enjoyable to troll Leftard Dick’s as they make it so easy and most especially the head Dick.

  2. I deliberately don’t use Facebook, twitter, Instagram, or any other leftist owned, socialist controlled media. If they can’t be at least neutral, then screw them!

    • Gab, Minds, Bitchute and Gab’s Dissenter plugin are gaining in popularity. They are all alternatives to the commie companies.

    • I was thinking “cute”. What is the intention of this shirt? They wont sell many. Will Brownells gain more customers? Most of us trust them to be on our side. The picture of the shirt will need to a lot of social media coverage outside of all the gun blogs and gun related gun facebook/instagram pages.

      • They don’t need to sell any. To ape Visa:
        Cost of custom T-shirt – $20
Cost of professional photo session – $150
Free advertising for trolling anotgunners- Priceless

  3. Speaking of Dicks and the company losses.

So much for fiduciary duties to the shareholders, virtue signaling has a cost. Wonder if Wally World will adhere to their policy once losses mount.

Time for a shareholder lawsuit against Dick’s. Honestly, I don’t understand why their shareholders haven’t sued them already for their anti-gun, anti-profit actions that cost shareholders a quarter billion dollars.
After all, corporations are legally bound to maximize profit for their shareholders, and when they violate that duty, they can be sued by shareholders.

I’m tempted to buy 1 share of Dick’s so I can sue them, but I’d need to find a lawyer willing to work on commission only. Any lawyers among TTAG readers?

  4. Buycotts work better than boycotts. Put up or shut up. So much talk on this site and reveling in a $250M loss on a $3.5B dollar company.

  5. I gave the big FU to Dick’s for being a dick a long time ago.

I wish they had something on the back side like “Read between the lines Dick’s”

  6. I grew up in a town named Binghamton, NY. There was a sporting goods store on Front Street named Dick’s. I remember sitting on the floor as a kid (early 1970s), playing with the little “BBs” that were actually shotgun shell reloading shot while my dad shopped for fishing stuff.

Dick’s is my home team. It pains me that I cannot not shop there.
