Chris Brown, the celebrity rapper / singer, is looking at a whole new list of criminal charges after a woman called cops early this morning claiming he had threatened her with a gun.  The LA Times has some of the details:

A bizarre standoff Tuesday between authorities and singer Chris Brown promised to be a “long and protracted” affair, according to an LAPD official, who said investigators had obtained a search warrant for the performer’s Tarzana home.

Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Bob Green said officers were waiting for Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos. Investigators intend to search the property for a weapon that Brown is accused of using to threaten a woman early Tuesday morning.

Officers had responded to a woman’s call for help at the residence in the 5000 block of Corbin Avenue about 3 a.m. Tuesday, said LAPD Officer Liliana Preciado.

The woman said Brown, who has had several previous run-ins with the law, pointed a gun at her during a violent rage before she ran outside to call police, according to police sources who were not authorized to speak publicly about the case.

Cops showed up but Brown refused to let them in the house, telling them to get a warrant.  Cops are doing just that and trying to reach a peaceful conclusion, but Brown isn’t helping himself by taunting the cops both in person and online, and defiantly throwing a duffel bag out of a window.  He wrote in an online post “f*** the police” and is telling cops on the scene to “Come and get me!”  Someone really ought to tell him it’s “Molon Labe”, not “Come and Get Me”.

Police have already recovered drugs, a firearm and other weapons from the scene, according to TMZ.

Guns are a no-no for Chris Brown after his past felony convictions.

More from TMZ:

Police have retrieved at least one gun, other weapons and drugs from Chris Brown‘s home, after Chris threw a duffel bag out the window of his home … TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story … cops raced to Chris’ home early Tuesday morning after a woman called 911 and claimed he pulled a gun on her.

Police have been at the house since 3 AM and are in the process of getting a search warrant. Chris has not left the house, but multiple sources tell us he was defiant as he threw the duffel bag out the window, taunting cops and saying, “Come and get me.”

Chris posted a video in which he refers to Black Lives Matter, saying “f*** the police.”

Two sources on scene tells us in addition to weapons there were drugs in the duffel bag.

As for the woman who called 911 … she’s a beauty pageant title holder.

Is jailhouse rapper Chris Brown’s next stop?  Time will tell.

  1. It would be terrible if the police ruined his tats by poking a few holes in him! Be careful officers! Don’t hurt the little beyotch.

    • It’s only because he’s black. Leave the poor guy alone. He’s innocent. He’s really a quiet guy and against violence. It’s just white folks that are the problem. If they didn’t exist, he wouldn’t have done all this…(etc., etc.)

  2. Next stop, the “Big House” with all the amenities he’ll ever need. (Complete with all the other fools that ran their lives in the same manner).

  3. “Hahaha! Another upstanding DNC / DemoCRAPic elitist! Quick someone call Ms.Mcbath in Chiraq. So they can grandstand that it was all The NRA, and Trumps fault !”

  4. Dunno who this moron is, nor do i care.

Let ‘im keep keep poking the (smokey) bear. He’ll learn not to do that eventually.

  5. So the Lapd is waiting for C.B.’s lawyer to show up, before serving a warrant? How thoughtful.
    Celebrity priveledge + Ferguson effect.

    • I wondered about that too. But I will say that I had an attempt at a home invasion (it was a DGU and DDU too) to my place and before the cops were willing to search it they got a warrant, which took freaking forever in the middle of the night.

I’m standing there like “Look, the doors been kicked in and I’m telling you to enter my place! Here’s the keys to the other door!” and all I got was “We need to get a warrant first”.

It was really weird. Of course they’ll come rolling right through a house if there’s a party and they “suspect” underage drinking. But with the resident of the apartment standing there telling them “Go inside and detect/collect evidence! I want you to go inside and do your job!” they want a warrant.

    • That was my initial impression too but it may be that the warrant has not been issued yet (although the delay might very well be due to the high-profile nature of the suspect and his lawyer). I’ve seen contradictory information on whether they’re waiting for a warrant or just waiting.

But yeah, I have a feeling if this wasn’t a rich guy with a guard dog lawyer the door would have been kicked in by now. And if they have a warrant, that’s exactly what they should be doing.

  6. A few hundred grand to the victim, a few hundred grand to the Benevolent Association, a few protests from #BLM and I’m sure this will all be written off as just a simple misunderstanding.

  7. Looks like Chris believes that throwing his gun and drugs out the window in a duffel bag will obsolve him of all criminal responsibility because hey, if the popo didn’t find it in his house it ain’t his.

As ridiculous as that sounds, it’s a viable defense strategy in LA where juries don’t need much of an excuse for nullification if the perp is a black celebrity and his victim is a white woman.

  8. Damn boy! You wanna’ beat bi##ches- I’ve heard there’s plenty in the slammer. Or mebbe’ black lives splatter will protect your dumbazz…

  9. The real question is how many lady singers’ careers will be launched to meteoric heights has tragic victims by producers, the secod time around?

  10. And these are the kinds of people the inner city African-American society looks up to as role models. Rappers and ‘professional athletes’ (read that guys that get paid too much to play kids games and act like they are gods) set the standard for the inner city crowd.

  11. Mixed emotions on this.

On the one hand, it really is time for this clown’s last curtain call. I hope he provokes the police into aerating him.
On the other hand, I don’t want this guy to gain martyr status.

  12. ‘…and is telling cops on the scene to “Come and get me!” ‘

Huh. Wouldn’t that constitute giving permission to enter without a warrant?

    • Because naive women think that the bad boy will be changed by her love and affection.

It happens in movies and TV. So it’s gotta happen in real life, right?

    • The same kind of woman that does the nasty with Charlie Sheen. These ain’t pure virgin church going girls here.

The same gals that put out for guys because of their showy bling and high dollar cars. Whores is gonna whore and some guys can convince themselves she’s there cause he really is a charming dude.

  13. Where’s the Dallas PD and their “bomb robot” when you really need them…

Throwin’ stuff out the window? Someone could get hurt.
Sounds threatening to me. Push the button!

  14. I tried to tell him. It went like this:

    Me: “It’s Molon Labe, man”

Chris: “Molten latte? What the hell you talkin bout? I don’t need no cracka ass Starbucks coffee right now, muthafucka. I’m tryin to deal with the five-oh. ”

    Me: “Nevermind”

  15. The guy is a convicted felon, how did he get a gun? And this in the utopia of California!

I’m sure that this will be swept under the rug and will be laughed off as something minor and somehow loveable…

I think its time for jail for him, he has had numerous slaps on the wrist, probations etc for previous crimes but has obviously not learned the error of his ways.
