I have no idea what the people who made this film could be thinking. The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, the group that made it, says they did it to “one-up” the NRA. So let me get this straight . . .
The NRA has a feminist author write a parable about how strong independent women can use guns to protect themselves and not need to be trapped in a misogynist society. The Brady Campaign’s response: make a snuff film killing off fairytale characters for children. All you gun grabbers missed it, the stories the NRA published are not intended for the kids but the MOMs! I’m sorry I just don’t get it. I think the people over at Brady have lost their minds.

Children less than 6YO have over a million exposures yearly and 1% or so of those are serious or fatal which is 10,000. Even if you say that 10% are fatal that’s still 1,000 deaths which is significantly higher.
Keep in mind that these are the same peole who insist the POTG are violent and dangerous.

Makes me wonder what parent in their right minds keep a loaded gun, unlocked in a drawer in their children’s bedroom? The answer? No responsible gun owner.
Yeah — my first thought was “What a waste of a possible safety training moment!” If they really want kids safe around guns, the vid should have Tinkerbell zoom in and take the gun, scolding, and Peter saying, I have to go!” When the kids ask why, he says, “Because you have to go tell your parents they left a gun where it shouldn’t be!”
Whereupon Tink hangs the gun somewhere high and visible but where the kids can’t reach it, and the magic duo depart, and the kids decide Peter was right.
