The Second Amendment Foundation today said the support Democrat Joe Biden’s staff is showing to violent protesters in Minneapolis by donating to a bail fund is an “outrage,” and it demonstrates why alarmed Americans are buying more guns to protect their homes and businesses.

“After all the violence we’ve seen in major cities, Biden’s position is simply outrageous,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “No wonder gun sales surged 80 percent in May over the same month last year. People watch their cities burn, while Biden and his staffers think those responsible should be allowed to walk. That’s a bad formula for public safety, but apparently Biden and his crew don’t get it.”

A group called the Minnesota Freedom Fund reportedly received contributions from 13 Biden staffers. The Freedom Fund reportedly opposes the practice of making people arrested pay cash bail to avoid “pre-trial imprisonment,” according to Reuters.

But a Biden campaign spokesman told Reuters the former vice-president opposes the institution of cash bail altogether, calling it a “modern day debtors prison.” He doesn’t think these anarchists should pay bail at all.

“So,” Gottlieb observed, “while Biden opposes guns for honest people, he’s all for turning dangerous rioters loose on personal recognizance, maybe so they can go somewhere else and wreak havoc.

“We wholly support the First Amendment as much as we advocate for and defend the Second,” he continued. “Peaceful, non-violent protest is as much a part of the American fabric as the right to keep and bear arms, but last weekend’s violence completely overshadowed such efforts.

“What we saw over the weekend were numerous incidents of violent vandalism, arson, theft and even criminal assault and murder committed by people who have their own agenda that has nothing to do with the tragedy in Minneapolis,” Gottlieb stated. “Biden and his staff obviously can’t tell the good guys from the bad guys.”

The Second Amendment Foundation (www.saf.org) is the nation’s oldest and largest tax-exempt education, research, publishing and legal action group focusing on the Constitutional right and heritage to privately own and possess firearms. Founded in 1974, The Foundation has grown to more than 650,000 members and supporters and conducts many programs designed to better inform the public about the consequences of gun control.

  1. Joe Biden, Justin Timberlake, Chrissy Teigen, Seth Rogan, and many others are helping a lot of centrist and formerly-on-the-fence voters to see the Left more clearly than ever.

Please keep talking, Uncle Joe. It makes us happy for November.

Oh, by the way…154 days to go to Election Tuesday.

  2. Arrest looters and charge with domestic terrorism. This would fall under the Patriot Act which does not allow bail.

    • Round up the ANTIFA black block and rendition them to Gitmo. There they can enjoy water sports and electrifying night life. Correction, make that waterboarding and electric shock interrogation.

  3. For the past twenty years or so, democrats have been the best gun salesmen we’ve ever seen. They’re just too stupid to understand that!

  4. Biden is gonna regret that when the campaign videos start pointing out that “Inconvenient Truth”.

And he’s kinda fucked – If he stops, he can’t hide the fact that he did support that…

    *snicker* 😉

    • That plus two videos of him spouting off on people during his campaign stops:

      1) Biden told someone, “You’re full of $hit.”

      2) Biden called someone a, “lying dog-faced pony soldier”.

Trump certainly has his share of less-than-flattering comments — and yet nothing that he has said comes anywhere close to that level of scumbaggery.

  5. Like that idiot de Blasio emptying Rikers Island. The message is it’s okay to resume prior conduct. Its great to be a Democrat.

  6. I had read on Reuters that the fund was to bail out protestors who were jailed because of being out after curfew (NOT rioting). While not a smart thing to do given the violence that has escalated after sundown, let them fund what they want to support protestors. Might want to source this with some references before publishing to make sure the(sensational) title of this article is even accurate. Just sayin’…

    • If people weren’t out after curfew, then people wouldn’t be rioting after curfew. There’s all sorts of time to peacefully protest during the day. Sometimes the bad apples ruin it for everyone. Welcome to my world.

      • We’re gonna “curfew” everybody because of some goblins? I assume that’s because the Kung-Flu whole-country house arrest worked out so well.

        • I was against the lock down from day one. I said it would destroy our economy, and thus ruin lives. I stated such on here when most seemed to be fine with it. The people in jail knew the rules and didn’t care to break them. Why should I care about them? The real problem isn’t with the curfew breakers, it’s with the weak mayors and governors that made the decision to let the children run wild without consequence. They could have nipped it in the bud, but then they would actually have to govern instead of just spouting mindless platitudes on twitter.

  7. Hey, now, be nice to Slow Joe. He thought that he was donating to the Girl Scouts — and you know our Joe sure does love him some Girl Scouts.

  8. Geez, I can’t believe the citizens of America think that the democratic party is the way to go, this sort of nonsense that Biden is doing is just plain bad, it’s one thing that people would have done a completely peaceful demonstration, but it’s another thing altogether to hurt and kill others, to damage places of business, some beyond repair. If Biden wants to make a mark then bail out the business that got destroyed, but don’t bail the morons that did it. Those people that are arrested for causing property and bodily harm should set in jail for at least 10 years, and of course killing someone is murder they should be in jail for at least 50 years, that would send a clear message to others that if they assemble peacefully you will go to jail for a long while.

  9. I was speaking with a co-worker based in Sacramento. He was telling me the arrest rate in the city has dropped significantly since the state passed a zero-dollar bail law: get arrested and arraigned and released on 0-dollar bail. Arrest is no longer a deterrent; nor does it keep criminals off the street.

      • Cops aren’t going to risk themselves to wrestle a druggie to the ground if said druggie will be back on the street before their shift is over. What’s the point? If the public (and, specifically, their elected representatives) don’t want those people behind bars, then what’s the point of arresting at all?

This is them getting what they wanted.

  10. “We are providing this information, because we have made a pledge to this community to be transparent,” Schroeder said. “The video appears to show Mr. McAtee firing a gun outside of his business door as officers who are using pepper balls to clear the Dino’s lot were approaching. The video does not provide all the answers, but we are releasing it to provide transparency.”

  11. So Biden would allow most criminals to be release on own recog or not even arrested? Isn’t he on board with sending swat to confiscate firearms?. Would gun owners made into felons overnight be given the same considerations or are they Special Case Criminals who we need to send to far away camps?

    You decide.

  12. Take a good look at biden. You’ll see a lot of biden if the trolls who talk guns and then turn around to slander and libel the POTUS have it their way. One thing such trolls all have in common…They never ever name who their better candidate is.
We are looked upon as gullibles who would be impressed by their vast copy and paste knowledge of firearms and submit to sharing their disdain for the POTUS and stay home on election day. Remedy for their schemes? Tell each and every POTUS bashing gun talking troll to eat poop.

  13. Yikes S L O W Joe😃Yer handlers need to advise you a bit better…meanwhile they’re sealing off the exits on I80 on the ILL/IN border. And my good friend(he’s 69) rushed over here for firearm expertise & guidence a few hpurs ago.. He has a gorgeous S&W 4″ 38 revolver with original wood grips. Perfect SS. Coming back tomorrow with 2 handguns & a shotgun. He’s never shot any of them! Wife coming too. She can’t lift it(40oz). Grip weak too. Would a new EZ 9mm work???

    • former water walker,

Dry-fire practice is always a good starting point: can you help your neighbor with that?

After your neighbor has some dry-fire practice under his belt, the best that you can do in these limited circumstances is add simulated recoil during his dry-fire practice so that he practices coming back down on target. To simulate recoil, swing your hand upward and gently pop up his barrel after he squeezes the trigger. Obviously, you cannot do that very quickly so your neighbor’s practice will only be able to accommodate relatively slow rates of fire. Unless you can get him to a shooting range right away, that seems to be the best immediately available alternative.

I have no experience with and no knowledge of the Smith & Wesson EZ flavors of semi-auto handguns so I have no wisdom to share in that regard for your wife.

      • Thanks US…MY wife is a goddess with a terrific grip. This is my friend’s 66 year old wife. There’s a tradeoff bwtween hand strength & recoil. If she can’t lift a 40oz revolver that ain’t good…

  14. Well… before the festivities went berserk, I decided I needed another single action revolver in .45 Colt, mostly because nobody can have too many single action .45’s. I had to order it… and it arrived yesterday. When I went to pick it up, the shop was crowded with people who aren’t gun nuts, and they were all buying items to defend the fort. Normally, there would only be one or two customers in the place.

  15. This is just white leftists helping white leftists. But the blacks are taking the blame. And that’s the plan of the white communists. Its very rich white poeple who a buying and stationing stacks of bricks all over the United States. Reading for the rioters to use.

NYPD Says Evidence PROVES Rioting Is Planned, “Activists” Caught Giving Out Bricks To Protesters video 24 minutes long

    • The Left thrives on racial tensions. Notice how the pols are always saying we need to have a conversation, but then they never try to actually solve anything. This benefits them politically. Just like the media said we can’t talk about the grievances of the scary right wing protesters with guns because the virus is the only news right now, they will be happy if there is no other conversation going on other than white people hate black people so if you want that to change, be sure to vote the EXACT same people into power in those cities. They don’t want the voters to have a real conversation because that would lead to the real culprit of their problems. The Left can’t have things going well for the black community because then why would they vote for them? It’s always empty promises from them.
