In recent days, Joe Biden has suggested a “brass knuckle fight” if Democrats can’t get their way in the US Senate. In fact, he added that if Democrats can’t pass their agenda, then perhaps it’s time to resort to actual revolution. His exact words:  “Let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it.”

It all happened in a town hall meeting of sorts where rich old white guy Biden pandered to something called the Moral Action Congress of the Poor People’s Campaign. Yes, that’s apparently the name.

Suppressing political opposition using violence?  Isn’t that like fascism?

From Dictionary.com:

fascism
noun
(sometimes initial capital letter) a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.

Ryan Saavedra covered it at The Daily Wire:

Biden, currently the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination, made the remarks at the Moral Action Congress of the Poor People’s Campaign in Washington, D.C.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid asked Biden: “How would you get past either a majority Republican Senate in which Mitch McConnell was determined to kill all of these ideas or even a Mitch McConnell in the minority who repeated the consistent filibustering when you were vice president and anything that came from the Obama-Biden administration Mitch McConnell considered dead on arrival?”

“Joy, I know you’re one of the ones who thinks it’s naive to think we have to work together,” Biden responded. “The fact of the matter is if we can’t get a consensus, nothing happens except the abuse of power by the executive.”

“There are certain things where it just takes a brass knuckle fight,” Biden continued, later adding: “Let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it.”

Really.

Here’s the video:

Thank heavens the Founders had the foresight to include the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights to protect us from government tyranny and those who would promote it. Sort of like the “physical revolution” that Creepy Joe Biden surely seems to openly desire.

Recall a certain Illinois resident named James T. Hodgkinson, pictured above.

Hodgkinson hated Trump and Republicans. He worked on the Bernie 2016 campaign and belonged to the Facebook group “Terminate the Republican Party”. As we all know, Hodgkinson took up arms in “revolution” against the Republican Party by trying to assassinate a bunch of Republican Congressmen who were practicing for a charity baseball game.

He nearly succeeded, too.  He gravely wounded Rep. Steve Scalise before two DSS security agents shot and killed the would-be assassin.

Once again, thank heavens the Founders ensured we’d have the right to keep and bear arms in order to protect us from these people who are inclined to use physical violence to achieve their political goals.

  1. Why is the gun fearing left talking about having a war with people who own and practice with firearms? Most of whom are psychologically prepared to fight?

    • You didn’t think it was actually going to be THEM that will be doing the fighting. They’ll be outsourcing that joy to local Police, armed federal agents, and Antifa and their ilk.

No Joe and the boys will be in DC surrounded by taxpayer funded guards.

      • Like many, Creepy Joe is all talk and no action. He never worked an honest day in his life; just on the government tit his whole career, bleeding the taxpayers. He is willing to stand by and let others do the ‘heavy lifting’ in whatever way is needed; revolution, brass knuckle fight, etc. He like many other big mouths will not get their hands dirty. Joe should remember to be careful what he asks for, he might just get it. If there is any justice in the world, the most vocal on the left will be the first casualties. You know the names and there are many ways to find where they are. All politicians should remember that both sides are listening to their jaw-jacking and will act accordingly when the time comes. I hope I am wrong but there is a good chance of a second revolution/civil war type unrest occurring in the next few years. When the shite gets real, I don’t think the police and other law enforcement types will turn on the citizens; they have their own families and loved ones to be concerned about. Let’s all hope I am wrong. However if I am right; well you know what to do.

      • They could hold DC; that place is mostly feds and cops. Something tells me cops in Alabama wouldn’t be interested in helping. The question is the military.

        • “The question is the military.” It has been a long time since I was in the army, but when I was my friends and I had conversations about this very thing. We all agreed that we would turn our weapons on our officers before we fired on United States citizens.

        • I’ve been out for several years now but I’m pretty sure that the military has, unsurprisingly, been and will be overwhelmingly conservative past, present, and future

        • Active duty Soldier here, and that sentiment still stands among the vast majority of Enlisted folks.

        • How long can all of the cops and military in DC hold out when there is no food, water, or electricity coming in? Holding the city would be easy, but who will secure your supply convoys?

    • The same ones who put their faith in 911 think passing the right laws means whatever is in those laws takes effect and produces the desired result. Rough men with guns will be asked to carry out their wishes and should they finish the job disappear from sight.

They should fear such an apparatus themselves.

    • I don’t quote Pravda, very often, but survivors of the Soviet Union and similar authoritarian states often have useful perspectives on leftists:

“Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives — leftists — hate guns. Oh no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step to their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in the hands of those whom they have slated for a gun barrel to the back of the ear.”

    • Hipsters and liberal elites would not leave the safety of their keyboard. Expect mobs of urban minorities and foreign nationals to be used as their cannon fodder. This also gives them the advantage of portraying it as “evil white nationalists” trying to kill brown people. They would spin it as a race war.

I have always said if there is ever a race war here it will not be started by black citizens or the white conservatives whom blacks think is their enemy. It would be started and choreographed by white “progressives”.

      • Isn’t it the unfettered liperals (spelling intentional) who espouse and promote the insane concept of political correctness? Where we cannot say or write precisely what we mean lest we offend the “sensibilities” of some wilting snowflake with neither the common sense nor intellectual capacity to comprehend certain statements as being tongue-in-cheek, wry or ironic?

      • Unrestricted class warfare ultimately resulting in near total annihilation of the inhabitants, methinks.

    • Don’t be fooled into believing liberals don’t have guns, just look at the comments section of websites like “The Hill”. People arguing and promoting leftist view-points with screen names and avatars alluding to guns and not in a negative way. Dead pool is an unsurprisingly a hero of the left. These people are total hypocrites and will use any means necessary to get YOU to give up your guns, while they quietly and illegally keep theirs.

    • Jr. Not even close.

Trump may flap his gums but you lefties are the ones actually rioting in the streets, hounding people out of restaurants, doxx’ing people you disagree with, and having your blackshirt Antifa thugs beat the crap out of people.

      STFU

    • They both have a long way to go to catch Hillary. Who DJT defeated and as far as I’m concerned makes him a successful president.

    • Plenty. His supporters just ignore it. That said, the media doesn’t ignore it. They go after it like he’s trying to make himself king. But it has been the left throwing the most bricks.

      • No we (I used to be a trump supporter) don’t ignore it.

When Trump says “I can walk outside and shoot someone and it won’t affect my popularity” we were smart enough to understand the hyperbole. The left and media took it at face value and claimed he was threatening to kill someone. When they go down that path, the only response we could have was to ignore them completely.

So we ignored them when they called him racist, anti-Semitic (with a Jewish daughter no less), homophobic etc. the left and the media lost all validity long ago because they feel hurtful words are the equal to hurtful actions.

Having said that, I’m no longer a supporter because his actions against bump stocks (even though I’ve never shot one) has changed my mind. His actions, not his words. I am a second amendment absolutist, and I vote.

        • So, you’re going to support whom? The other candidates are all left of Trump, and the libertarians will never get a majority. Welcome to the democrat party.

  2. The last time the democrats got control of Congress, their Anti-business agenda wrecked the economy, the DOW lost more than half it’s value, unemployment more than doubled and over 8 million jobs were lost. Why would anyone in their right mind want to do that again ?

    • Free Shit. It’s why the democrats are known as the Gimmedat party.
Never underestimate the lengths they will go to buy votes.

    • You can’t really correlate that. Lots of factors caused it including, as always, the debt cycle. I don’t see any Repubs clamoring to cut spending on their constituents so… neither seems to have any high ground there.

  3. I was worried about Biden getting the Dems nomination because he was almost reasonable next to Harris or Swalwell, but lately he looks crazier every time he speaks so another electoral defeat looks likely.

  4. Sleepy Uncle Joe’s side shoots shotguns into the air.

Our side uses precision rifles to hunt, and poke holes into tiny little targets, at long ranges.

Guess I’m your huckleberry, uncle Joe.

  5. Creepy Joe,
Be careful what you ask for, provoke or threaten! Trying to be as/more radical than your looney Left candidate peers is a dangerous road.

  6. Oh hell Joe, bring it! As Clint said, MAKE MY DAY!
That’s the smartest thing I’ve heard yet. There is little I’d like better than beating the holy living sh– out of a Democ-nt. Seriously! I’ll even wear my red MAGA hat just to trigger them.

  7. Any revolution Creepy Joe starts won’t end like he thinks! What is it with all these Swallwell type Democrats? They can’t actually be this stupid, can they?

      • I’d say, “no, but the people who vote for them are.” Joe won’t suffer the horrors of fighting or the hunger of disrupted supply chains.

        • Reminded me I will need to get to know more of the farmers out to Western Massachusetts.

        • He might not miss a meal, but politicians who start Civil War 2 are likely to face trial and a rope and a short drop.

    • The left ignores history or rewrites it but they don’t learn from it.

Drop a quarter in the jukebox and let’s start dancing.

    • Is it really surprising?! Look at the condition of the rest of the world. We are about it for the “Free World” that people used to speak of. Can’t include much of Europe in that. Not surprisingly, some of the most Liberty minded nations currently today are former Soviet Bloc members. People have short memories, and must occasionally be reminded of why government is the worst possible solutions

    • And Swallwell thinks the military will blindly follow his orders to nuke US citizens?

I think he would face a mutiny in the military from both command and the ranks.

      • Remember what happened in Berkley? The cops were told to stand down and let the innocent get beaten by antifa. They obeyed their boss. Remember Ruby Ridge? Waco? They want a paycheck and to go home to their families. I don’t think they really care about someone they don’t know. I hope I’m wrong.

  8. “…Let’s start a real physical revolution ”

Not my first choice, but if you insist I say bring it old man.

  9. *leftists call for revolution*

*leftists destroy/burn down their own neighborhoods*

*the rest of America shrugs and goes back to work*

  10. He may want to rethink just what he is asking for,he and his army of snow flakes.
However if he insists, lets get it on and over with.

  11. “Let’s start a real physical revolution if you’re talking about it.”

Learn from the Bard, Mr. Biden. These violent delights have violent ends. And in their triumph die, like fire and powder.

  12. You’ll appreciate the irony that brass knuckles are more illegal than pistols. Chances are you live in a state where private possession in your own home is a crime.

    • That’s no kidding. I study Okinawan Kobodo. One of weapons is the Tekko. If I ever am pulled over on my way to the dojo or gym I hope the cop believes me when I tell them I’m going to go train with them.

  13. Pretty sure brass knuckles are illegal in most states.

Oh wait, I can’t recall the last time laws deterred Democrats from breaking them.

  14. I want to resolve conflict peacefully and diplomaticlly, I don’t start trouble and don’t want trouble……….don’t let your mouth write checks your @$$ can’t cash.

“Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far” ~Theodore Roosevelt~

    • Good manners costs nothing. Bad manners can cost you plenty. Even my 11 year old son knew that before he was 5.

  15. Biden… who dosen’t want us to shoot attackers with a rifle or pistol “to stop the threat” but instead recommended to America “to use a double barreled shotgun” during some bullshit comment on video about how horrible the AR-15 was. Having been a cardiac medic for almost 40 years we were never able to save anyone shot to the chest or face with a shotgun… usually loaded with #4’s or BB’s where we hunt.
I’m not weeping for attackers, just questioning his thought process.

  16. There goes Crazy old Uncle Joe, inciting violence, threatening insurrection, advocating violating FEDERAL LAW…(was he sniffing hairspray again?) Yes Joe the possession of “BRASS KNUCKLES’ in DC. with certain exceptions for ON DUTY military, cops and certain federal employees (Senators and Congressmen are not among them} is ILLEGAL. (since 1892). Go get your 12 gauge Joe just don’t carry it out in the open… Oh and don’t try to conceal it in D.C.

§ 22–4514. Possession of certain dangerous weapons prohibited; exceptions.

    (a) No person shall within the District of Columbia possess any machine gun, sawed-off shotgun, KNUCKLES, or any instrument or weapon of the kind commonly known as a blackjack, slungshot, sand club, sandbag, switchblade knife, nor any instrument, attachment, or appliance for causing the firing of any firearm to be silent or intended to lessen or muffle the noise of the firing of any firearms;

    (3) “Knuckles” means an object, whether made of metal, wood, plastic, or other similarly durable material that is constructed of one piece, the outside part of which is designed to fit over and cover the fingers on a hand and the inside part of which is designed to be gripped by the fist.

Nice try Joe, however be very, very, VERY careful what you wish for… The shitstorm you are advocating for is a big ass can of worms and once it’s opened it will take a lot of blood to put the lid back on….

  17. I am reminded of something Admiral Yamamoto was reported to have said after Pearl Harbor:

“Oh crap, we just started something bad.”

    • Movie Quote.
“Isoroku Yamamoto’s sleeping giant quotation is a film quote by the Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto regarding the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor by forces of Imperial Japan.
The quotation is portrayed at the very end of the 1970 film Tora! Tora! Tora! as:
I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.[1]
An abridged version of the quotation is also featured in the 2001 film Pearl Harbor.
Although the quotation may well have encapsulated many of his real feelings about the attack, there is no printed evidence to prove Yamamoto made this statement or wrote it down.”
      Wikipedia.
Just like the quote about a gun behind every blade of grass. Never said.

  18. “Suppressing political opposition using violence? Isn’t that like fascism?”
    ————-

Not just them. What it is like is every political faction and party that has ever existed from the dawn of civilization to the present day. At various points in their history all political parties, all political points of view, have had believers beating up on the opposition.

  19. Joe Biden says – ‘physical revolution’
what he means is ‘lets get some kids or women folk up here so I can touch them’

  20. Not to discount the lack of aplomb being demonstrated by The Great Plagiarizer but realize that the audience he’s playing to is not the “moderate” voters who’ll decide which candidate gets their states’ electoral votes in the general election – this sort of hooey is all about fund raising and early primary voters. Even last election, after the primary dust settled, HRC tried to clumsily and gracelessly (like most things she’s done in her public life) lurch towards the middle. Didn’t work for The Tigress of Benghazi and it won’t work for Old Joe.

  21. That’s the way of the liberal bringing a set of “Knucks” to a gunfight.. How DO you think that will end Joe?

  22. Right now, I don’t see much point in voting next year, that may change, but at this point I’ll be much too busy reloading.

    • Not a good choice. Take time to vote. Remember damnocraps have many votes in Subaru hatchbacks waiting to be used.

    • In 1973, when I started college the first time in (wait for it…) Delaware, shortly after Uncle Joe was the commencement speaker at my high school graduation, I was telling people that our country was ripe for a second American Revolution. Looks like a ‘major’ politician, and others, are coming around to my perspective. Interesting, no?

  23. Bring it Joe! I have a Shepard that will rip your throat out, and then I’ll cram those brass knuckles up you ass.

  24. Biden is more than just stupid. He’s dangerously stupid. Now that Delaware has a red-flag law, we need to confiscate those shotguns he’s shooting off the back porch. Jill will just have to rattle her brass knuckles to scare off the burglars from now on.

  25. Gotta admit, Joey is good material. I truly hope he wins the Demo nomination. Can you image everything he said and everything he’s going to say. President Trump is filling up his memo book as we speak. Can’t wait for the Presidential debates. C’mon Joey, don’t blow it yet, you gotta be your parties; “pride and Joy”

    • Creepy old uncle Joe should probably just stick to hangin out at the plastic surgeon’s office with Nancy, gabbin about the bad ol days.

  26. Maybe he meant ‘BARE” knuckle fight, we all know how fond Creepy Joe was of “taking people out behind the gym and beating the hell out of them” of course he was probably talking about grade schoolers… Just being from a little town in the hills of Pa. does not make him a badass (not that there can’t BE a badass or two from Wilkes-Barre, but Biden ain’t one of them)

    • Biden’s like Reid, a totally classless ‘brawler’ who got into fights all the damn time as a kid growing up, and more or less resorts to physical threats in daily life all the time as a result. It’s kinda sad now that he’s an old man & obviously can’t back up what he says & has security do it for him; I’m sure Trump will call him out on it during a debate, unless we stop having those entirely. Hopefully both keep upping the ante until Joe rips off his suit (revealing a giant Freebird tattoo) and he & Trump beat the crap out of each other on live pay-per-view for our amusement.

  27. Thank you,you creepy old pedophile!
Politicians like you are the reason the 2nd amendment is so important.
Your treason while filling your pockets from Ukraine and China have won you a place in the hangman’s line.Come on revolution,Joe wants to be a swinger!Lol

  28. Man, I’m starting to hope we really will get an actual, factual fist-fight between these two candidates before it’s all over. Awesome. Trump will be at a disadvantage, unfortunately, as he has tiny fists whereas Joe’s are burly from groping young girls. But as we learned with GWB & the flying shoes, never underestimate the fast reflexes of a US president.

    • I’d put my money on Trump in an actual brawl between them. He’s a bigger and younger man. Trumps 6’3 to Joes 6 foot and Trumps three years younger.
Now I know size doesn’t mean anything all the time, but I’d still give Donny the edge.

  29. Bring it you rickety old piece of crap. Brass knuckles dont stop bullets.
Ever wonder “What if someone had just walked up behind Hitler on the street and put one in the back of his skull while he was still just some nobody making lame ass paintings”?

A lot of these commies are really starting to make a good case for this. Nip the problem in the bud now so you dont have to waste millions of lives fixing it later.

  30. Ok, Sleepy Joe. We’re your huckleberry, SAY WHEN.

Just remember, when you bring it, we’ll be ready with our 400 million guns, 8 trillion rounds of ammo, and 30 million hardcore patriots.

Woe to the man that brings brass knuckles to a gunfight.

  31. I’ve never been hit by someone wearing Brass Knuckles. However if Uncle Ho, I mean Joe, wants to play I live in the second hole South of the lightning struck Persimmon tree.

  32. Really…… this is the guy awarded the medal of freedom. This is or will be the democrats
front runner for president…… holy shit…..

  33. I like TTAG. I read your articles every day and rarely, if ever, post. But this is important.

You dropped the ball on this one. Biden did not call for physical violence. See the entire video below at YouTube posted by News Universe.

FULL: Joe Biden’s Speech at Poor People’s Campaign Presidential Forum | June 17th 2019
    at YouTube

  34. I met that asshat once. He has quite the knack for saying stupid, insulting things. I had to suppress an overwhelming urge to punch him in the face. Would have been a really bad idea, given that I was standing about 30ft from my group commander and his staff. Bad idea regardless.

  35. Oh….please do Pervy Joe! But….be careful what you wish for. You very well might not like the end result!

  36. No great fan of Biden, but listening to the full context of his ‘physical revolution’ comment he is sarcastically responding to those on the left who claim that it is impossible to get the changes they want by working within our existing system of government. His comment was to point out that if they don’t work within the system they will have to either ‘go home’ or ‘start a physical revolution’ – both options that Biden is disparaging.

  37. Another excellent firearms salesman from the Democrats…

I guess I should increase my holdings in Ruger and S&W (American Outdoors) in both stock and products.

  38. What makes people like Slow Joe think they’d survive a revolution they helped instigate? The fomenters of revolution don’t survive them. Americans have a storied history of taking out the leaders from protected positions instead of standing in a straight line to take incoming fire. Why would they think the armed forces (which are only commanded by congress and the president WHILE EMPLOYED AGAINST A FOREIGN ENEMY) would support them in a revolution against the people? The members of the armed forces are us, the people. The self appointed “elite’s” own house servants and gardners will turn against them. But Slow Joe has a plan; he’ll walk out on the porch and fire two blasts from his double barrel shotgun into the air.

  39. What he is saying doesn’t sound great but why the cut in the video between the two quotes and why cut the video so both quotes are not complete? I know it isn’t TTAG’s video but why?

How can you draw any actual conclusions from this video when both quotes are incomplete and there is cut between both making the second essential contextless?

  40. heh, heh, …Men in the Democratic Party are to worried about what shoes to wear with their ensemble….if he’s making a call to arms to all the Starbuck’s barista’s….you could hear the crickets.

  41. On a serious note, his comments may actually constitute voter intimidation. However, since that video in the article above has been edited, I’m not willing to declare it just yet. Context is everything. That said, here is the definition and penalties for committing voter intimidation-
    The law states:
Whoever intimidates, threatens, coerces, or attempts to intimidate, threaten, or coerce, any other person for the purpose of interfering with the right of such other person to vote or to vote as he may choose, or of causing such other person to vote for, or not to vote for, any candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, at any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing such candidate [has committed voter intimidation].
Anyone who interferes or conspires to interfere with a person’s right to vote can face a felony charge with up to one year in prison and a hefty fine, or both.
By making the kind of threats against the opposition which his comments seemed to be clearly making a call to action on, for the intended purpose of convincing the opposition to change their votes on legislation, Biden could legally be considered to be interfering with how people of the opposing party may choose to vote, or who they may choose to vote for. The Republican leadership in the legislature and of the party needs to address this.
