The “hers and hers” tasseled pink lever rifles seem more than a bit big for ones so small. Maybe they’re aspirational. Finish your vegetables so you can grow big and strong and hold your gun! Anyway, they get my vote.

Lionel Trains came out with a Girls Set in the 1950’s, steam engine and tender in pink all other cars in pastel colors, it was their WORST seller EVER as girls wanted “real” looking trains. After bombing BIG league the “Girls Set” became one of the most sought after Lionel items by collectors, sadly I don’t see “pink” firearms matching that train set in collectability OR sales.

Those rifles are too large for those little kids. I suggest something in 9mm, which is the perfect caliber for small children and recoil-averse sissies.
If not the 9mm, then the famous but uncommon .9mm would be an acceptable alternative.

Maybe I am odd, but I had no problems charging that same style lever BB gun at age 5.
How young would you intend to start them on guns?
I want to start my 5 year old daughter shooting. Any suggestions on a .22 pistol or rifle she can learn to handle herself?
The Savage Rascal single-shot rifles are great.
They’re more expensive than the Cricket rifles, but they have a nice peep sight, accu-trigger and smoother bolt.
