“Armed personnel from the Environmental Protection Agency raided The Rooter Guys on Tracey Road Thursday morning,” cdapress.com reports. “EPA spokesman Mark MacIntyre [confirmed that] the EPA’s Criminal Enforcement Unit was armed . . . Jared Jasper, the foreman at Spectrum Powder Coating across the street, said several armed EPA agents showed up with Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office deputies around 8:30 a.m. ‘I have never seen that before,’ he said. ‘These guys were wearing bulletproof vests with ‘federal agent’ written across the back.’ Jasper said while the agents were raiding the building, another vehicle was removing sewer caps along Tracey Avenue and taking samples. He said it looked like the EPA was investigating some illegal dumping.” With guns. 1. ” He said it looked like the EPA was investigating some illegal dumping.” With guns.

Did the EPA check their own corridors for “illegal dumping”???

  2. We had this crap go on here a few years ago, the EPA raided a furniture restoration guy. He ended up doing two years for flushing some stain down the drain. Real crime there, worth the space it took up in prison.

  3. And here I was worried they’d bust me for selling a gun to a relative or incorrectly welding a flash hider on a 14.7″ barrel. I guess all it takes is for your shit to stink.

  4. I love and appreciate the humor in all these replies – but DAMN! It’s not just the police that are playing army, but every pissant government agency, too! This attitude, this practice; will not end well.

  5. Sewer secret service…yikes.
But it’s OK to pollute the world with Air Force One on a golf outing. Or a Hawaiian fact finding mission…

    • Are you kidding! illegal plumbers ruthlessly stomp on thousands of turtles, while doing shrooms! Sometimes they even use go karts against the turtles, they even throw turtle remains at each other to take the lead, even the rare blue turtle isn’t immune to the carnage!

  6. This is effed up.
What justification can the EPA have for employing its own law enforcement?
    I see unintended consequences ahead…

    • Why? They subjugate the taxpayer, and enforce ecological laws. Got a wasteful toilet that flushes too much water? You may be next.

      • Yup.
My tankless water heater had issues because it wasn’t detecting enough water flow to stay “on”
So the shower heads and sinks had the reducers removed or drilled out.
        Works just peachy now.
Come and get me. I’m ‘wasting’ water.

    • IF you pass laws that enforce penalties on people that make them want to fight apprehension or investigation, then it makes perfect sense that those tasked with investigating or apprehending should be armed. I would say it’s better to have a few EPA agents and a few (insert other alphabet here) agents than to increase something like the FBI to cover all possible federal crimes.

  7. Incidentally, the shop that got raided is an hour and a half drive from the famous Ruby Ridge.
Hayden, ID is also the former hold out for Richard Butler and his gang of idiots and White Supremacist group the Aryan Nations.

  8. If you have an email list, you should consider forwarding these posts to it. The MSM doesn’t cover this stuff, so most people aren’t aware it goes on.

Turn the lights on in the room and all the roaches scurry for cover.

  9. Here’s an agency that can’t hold their shit. I think them asses been tampered with. Any who what are they doing running around with guns. Were taking guns away from people who need them to give to terrorists and fools.

  10. “We’re gonna’ protect and serve the shit out of you! (Unless you take us to court for not doing that, in which case they’ll rule that we don’t have to anyway. SURPRISE!)” – Da U.S. Gubmint.

  11. I wonder if they have an MRAP…or an MCRAP? Anyway, it wasn’t a SWAT team, it was a POOP Team (Police On Offensive Patrol)…

Remember the Tidy Bowl Man? He’s actually a Federal undercover agent…but they gave him a little poop submarine now…

  12. Y’know, guys serving warrants should be armed – even when they are from an agency that the disposable earthers hate.

Sometimes guys who do bad things to rivers also do bad things to river cops.

    It’s their 2A as well.

  13. Well shit, they have been buying up billions of rounds of ammo, to do…..what? Might as well arm every branch there is, even census takers! I heard a census taker once had his liver eaten with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

You just can’t be too careful!

  14. We have gotten to the point where some part of the government does something ridiculous every day. It has become so common that no one seems to notice anymore.

When are we going to get that Revolution we so desperately need?

    • Likely need a “Black Swan” event to force people into action, but when it happens, the enemy will be surprised at how many lone wolves are out there.

      • And I suspect that it will be an unintended consequence of a relatively minor Government action. The current gang isn’t noted for thinking things through.

  15. That plumber should have posted a “no gun zone” sign at the entrance to his establishment. I am sure that would have made all the difference. Finally the signs would have been good for sh*t.

  16. Bigbear, WOW, well said Sir, well said!

“That is because EPA, like most goobmit agencies, has such low standards. The only qualifications for goobmit employment are gender, race, and where you put your genitals. Likely “homelessness” is a qualification too.”

  17. Last I heard, the EPA employees like to poop in the halls of their office buildings. Maybe, the EPA was looking for a place to go poo.
