BREAKING: NZ Mosque Murderer Used Firearms to Prompt More Gun Control, End of Second Amendment in the US

(AP Photo/Mark Baker)

Last night an Australian man walked into two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand and opened fire murdering 49 people. Another 48 were wounded, many of them gravely. In addition to firearms, police discovered and disarmed explosive devices in a car nearby.

From the Associated Press:

Police took three men and a woman into custody after the shootings, which shocked people across the nation of 5 million people. Police later said one of the arrests didn’t relate to the shootings. …

A video that was apparently livestreamed by the shooter shows the attack in horrifying detail. The gunman spends more than two minutes inside the mosque spraying terrified worshippers with bullets again and again, sometimes re-firing at people he has already cut down.

He then walks outside to the street, where he shoots at people on the sidewalk. Children’s screams can be heard in the distance as he returns to his car to get another rifle.

The gunman then walks back into the mosque, where there are at least two dozen people lying on the ground. After walking back outside and shooting a woman there, he gets back in his car, where the song “Fire” by English rock band “The Crazy World of Arthur Brown” can be heard blasting from the speakers. The singer bellows, “I am the god of hellfire!” and the gunman drives away. The video then cuts out.

The shooter, a self-described eco-fascist, also published a 74-page anti-immigrant manifesto explaining his motivation (you can read the entire rant here). Buried in the document was a justification for his use of firearms for the mass murder.

His stated goal was to prompt a greater push for gun control and the abolition of the Second Amendment in the US, sparking a schism that would irrevocably divide the country.

I could have chosen any weapons or means. A TATP filled rental van. Household flour, a method of dispersion and an ignition source.A ballpeen hammer and a wooden shield. Gas, fire, vehicular attacks, plane attacks, any means were available. I had the will and I had the resources.

I chose firearms for the affect (sic) it would have on social discourse, the extra media coverage they would provide and the affect it could have on the politics of United states (sic) and thereby the political situation of the world. The US is torn into many factions by its second amendment, along state, social, cultural and, most importantly, racial lines.

With enough pressure the left wing within the United states will seek to abolish the second amendment, and the right wing within the US will see this as an attack on their very freedom and liberty.

This attempted abolishment of rights by the left will result in a dramatic polarization of the people in the United States and eventually a fracturing of the US along cultural and racial lines.

And here’s something that isn’t getting much notice today. After murdering 41 at the first mosque, the shooter met armed resistance at the second one he attacked.

A second shooting happened at a mosque in the Linwood area of the city.

One Friday prayer goer returned fire with a rifle or shotgun.

Witnesses said they heard multiple gunshots around 1.45pm.

A well known Muslim local chased the shooters and fired two shots at them as they sped off.

He was heard telling police officers he was firing in “self defence”.

The armed resistance no doubt saved lives at the second mosque where seven people were killed.

Troll this…Mass shootings at masques wouldn’t happen if the Muslims were armed to the teeth like they are in Kandahar and Bagdad. The NRA is right. More guns are the answer.

So we have clear examples of counterfactual statements by the gun control lobby being addressed by TTAG and you are whining about TTAG, instead of understanding that liar professional lobbyist Watts is just making it up, or that Cortez is fact challenged?

          So why your bizarre sarcasm?

We are just 11 years from every gun control organization in the US and about 2/3 of Democrats supporting DC in Heller meaning they support total bans even of revolvers for law abiding, background checked persons.

Please go back to telling us about “fully semi automatic” or that 40% of guns are bought without background checks so we can laugh at you some more

My only thoughts and prayers are aimed at not losing any 2A rights because of this incident. That’s all I got.

    1. avatar Mark says:

You can only lose your rights if you surrender them. No man grants us the right to be armed. It is natural law.

      1. avatar John in Ohio says:

I agree except to proffer that one can have the exercise of a right curtailed or extinguished but the natural right remains. One cannot even give it away. It’s innate; tied to that individual for life. One might voluntarily sign away some or all of the exercise of a right, licensing for example, but the right remains. In a sense, that individual could revoke a license or agreement curtailing the exercise of a right at any time and reclaim full use of it.

and the US mainstream media says ” OK, we can go with that, thanks!”

    1. avatar Mitchell says:

We won’t it’s a terrorist attack by white nationalists. After so many killed it’s terrorism not homicide especially against a single minority on a vast scale this is nothing more than terrorism to the letter.

      1. avatar pwrserge says:

Self-identified “eco-fascist”…. ok… this has what to do exactly with American conservatism? You know, the very thing he ranted against in his little manifesto?

        1. avatar barnbwt says:

He identifies as every side of every issue just about in his little spiel. I think it’s obvious his real purpose was infamy (“gee, like all the other mass shooters of note, you think?”) and he cobbled together a ‘philosophy’ that borrows just enough elements from competing ideologies (supports international socialism, but only with a racist framework; supports fascist genocide, but for environmental reasons, etc) that everyone who reads it can point the finger and say “he’s YOUR monster, not ours!”

So point away, if you must. To me, he comes off as an internet troll personality that acted out its logical conclusion in the real world, live-streamed it to rope in the morbidly curious liveleak crowd, and left behind an intentionally-controversial essay to get the political-types arguing over him. His legacy is assured, now that the video & manifesto have been duplicated into every corner of the internet, and trolls will be sure to refer to both for ‘shock value’ for years to come. Mission accomplished.

      2. avatar CC says:

So it is like the Nice truck killing by the Moslim guy (only smaller) or the Muslim guy who shot up the nightclub, or the Muslim guy who shot up the US army base? Why were the later two not terrorism?

        1. avatar enuf says:

The Fort Hood attack was called a work place violence incident by the Pentagon trying to control costs. Because calling it terrorism would have made lots of military personnel eligible for pay and benefits normally only provided for combat.

Later, it was corrected. Took too damned long, but it was finally set right.

        2. avatar TrueBornSonofLiberty says:

Hahaha. That’s not why Barack Hussein Al Bin Obama had it classified like that. It was purely political

        3. avatar enuf says:

TrueBornSonofLiberty – Nope, that was entirely the Pentagon. One other factor they had in their little pea brains was that calling it a terror act would be a problem for a military court, which lacked rules and regs for that designation.

Which was bullshit. An officer of the American military committed an act of treason. The grounds to try him for a capital offense were many and the evidence massive.

Obama’s failing was in being so damned deferential to the Pentagon on this point, as well believing he could not push them on it as it crossed the line between the Executive and the Judiciary.

Once the purification process is complete, HYDRA’s New World Order will arise.” — Dr. Zola

  7. avatar Ian in Transit says:

Dudes rambling long-winded crazy manifesto he declares himself an “Eco-fascist” who supports ethno-states and speaks critically of conservatives. Not that it matters too much what sort of batshit crazy he is, but I know folks here and elsewhere will be wondering.

    1. avatar enuf says:

While proclaiming himself a fighter for the white race, wanting all white Europeans to breed more and all non-Europeans to be removed from Western countries, he also says this on his manifesto:

“consider myself an Eco-fascist by nature”

      and this

“The nation with the closest political and social values to my own is the People’s Republic of China.”

The twisted POS sure can mix crap up in getting to his full craziness.

      1. avatar Ian in Transit says:

Seriously confused in his brand of batshit to be sure.

      2. avatar CC says:

That is why calling him right or left is just silly. He has both left and right ramblings. And those who say we must never mention the ethnicity of Muslim terrorists (who have killed a lot more civilians people in the west) bringing in his ethnicity in is just an over the top double standard

    2. avatar R says:

Conservative and “non left” in general are already being blamed. This is already being used as ammunition to ban everything from guns to online platforms and personalities. I think it’s important for people to read what he said to be able to point out that this guy was nuts and that many of the things he said was contradictory.

    3. avatar barnbwt says:

I’m convinced it’s intentionally a vague & confusing manifesto; there’s something for everyone to either latch onto or lament. Either way, it keeps them talking about him, which is the point. Unlike most of the previous mass-shooters, this guy pretty clearly is ‘web forum savvy’ and therefore capable of understanding the response others have to his actions (a sociopath vs. an autistic loner).

The Brevik guy who shot all those people in Norway was coherent; evil, but coherent. This latest guy is a conflicted mess engineered for maximum controversy.

  8. avatar MarkPA says:

So let’s see if we can follow the logic here. A nut on the other side of the world explains that he purposely chose a gun to commit this atrocity. His objective was to promote division in the US over gun-control. He hoped that the “. . . left wing within the United states will seek to abolish the second amendment . . . ”

And so, it’s obvious, that our (PotG) conclusion ought to be to lay down our arms and rely upon the state to protect us from crazy people (like him).

Oh; by the way. NZ has a liberal (i.e., tolerant) approach to private gun ownership. It has fairly thorough control over who is licensed to own guns. “Gun licences [sic] are issued at the discretion of the police in New Zealand provided the police consider the person to be of good standing . . . ” (Wikipedia). How’s that working out for Y’all?

    1. avatar Huntmaster says:

Sounds like a Democrat brainstorming session.

    2. avatar barnbwt says:

He claims he’s doing a Helter Skelter gambit like Manson; by prompting reactionary gun control, he hopes to spark a civil war here that will drive out the Muslims (or something). Lunatic.

  9. avatar mark1955 says:

Laughably Staged False Flag, where no one was killed to Try and get more Gun Control!

Where do is start: “Shooter” ( Crisis actor ) shoots into conveniently already “Shot” piles of “victims” ( Mannequins ) using live ammunition, to show “Hits” on targets and reactions such as caps flying and clothes moving to Try and “Sell” this Hoax.

Then “Shooter” uses blank rounds on moving and crawling victims, where you can clearly not see hits and blood spurting.

The “Patients” ( Sarc ) being transported from the scene on stretchers had: No blood, No Bandages, No Oxygen masks, No Nasal canular, No IV’s, No airway’s…NOTHING, ZERO, ZILCH, NADA to indicate trauma treatment and that an Actual Trauma had taken place!

I am a 64 year old retired Fire Fighter in a city in Greater Boston who has been to Hundreds of Trauma scenes and if we ever treated Real Trauma patients in this way, we would have been brought up on criminal charges and immediately lost our jobs…These scenes are a Staged Farce!

Also, just like here in the States, you had the posed crisis actors with acted looks of horror glued to their smart phones…Gimme a BLEEPING break…This was a staged Hoax from start to finish, to Try and “Grease the skids” for an upcoming Hoax false flag in the United States in the near future for…Gun Control…Please Don’t Fall For It!

    1. avatar Gov. William J Le Petomane says:

Normally I’d mock your assertion that this was a false flag operation, but Barry Soetoro told me this sort of thing just doesn’t happen in other countries, so I think you might be onto something.

    2. avatar Warlocc says:

Every time I try to convince people that gun owners aren’t idiots, we get a post like this.

      1. avatar TrueBornSonofLiberty says:

You do realize he isn’t a gun owner, right? He’s likely never even held a gun before. He’s a democrat terrroist infiltrator.

        1. avatar enuf says:

Sad truth is there are sick idiots on “our side” that spout bullcrap like “false flag” and “crisis actor”.

Such people are divorced from reality. Like Alex Jones and his rants on the Sandy Hook killings. They are nut jobs and no help at all to the defense of the Second Amendment.

        2. avatar CC says:

Enuf, The Alex Jones nonsense though came from the mainstream media not knowing firearms yet posing as expert, jumping to conclusions and publish false information about Sandy Hook. Several mainstream news outlets (wronlgy) idenitfied the gun taken form Lanza car as “the assault rifle” when anyone with any knowledge could see it was a shotgun. We now know lanza’s unfired 226 9mm, his likely once for suicide fired 10mm glock, and the AR he used in killing most or all of the students was with him inside the school. But Jones’ wrong claims derived from Mainstream media incorrect claims. the fact that Jones persisted makes jones an asshole. But this dosnt change the fact that it was mainstream media idiots who would not know a shotgun from a rifle that started it. It is similar to the Birther issue, which was a lie, bu which was started nationally by Hillary’s shadow campaign against Obama in the 2008 primaries

As far as crisis actors, Jones claims on that were obviously spurious — and disgusting — but that doesn’t change the fact that we have real crisis actors such as David Hogg who are equally spurious and disgusting as Jones. If Hogg is a gun violence victim, I am a “fourth amendment violence victim” since a woman in my building was raped by a guy let off on a warrant issue the year before.

And the fact is on the overall picture we know that gun control advocates are unethically pumping HUNDREDs of million of of dollars into Democrat political campaigns with their money laundering, that they openly talk about nuisance lawsuits as a way to bankrupt firearm companies and end the second amendment, and that they are generally deceitful about their strategy of increment destruction of the individual right the Supreme Court and most Americans agree is in the Constitution.

    5. avatar Huntmaster says:

Troll. He’s probably manipulating his genitals and eating cheetos right about now.

  10. avatar Iraqvet2003 says:

Anyone here in the states that is really paying attention can see that we already have the situation the gunman was looking to provoke. All this will do is make it worse and push it closer to the edge of the cliff. The left can’t see the person holding the gun doing the actual killing. All they can see is the gun and they think no guns will change the evil in the person. Unfortunately as the gunman stated even without guns he still had the desire and means to carry out his plan by many different ways.

  11. avatar D says:

He stated that he could have used multiple methods, even going so far as to list them. So he’s telling the world that if he didn’t have access to a gun, he could have done the same murders with many different ways.

But, somehow, only the guns are evil.

    1. avatar enuf says:

Yes, but he really isn’t about guns or gun rights. He is trying to trigger a global race war and his gun use and talk is part of his great and evil plan.

Which he actually reveals in his manifesto. Telling the world he’s trying to trick us all into fighting each other along racial and ethnic lines is kind of dumb. He weakens the impact of what was already just lousy propaganda.

      1. avatar CC says:

More likely the guy is simply crazy. Recall that Breivik had both extreme right and extreme left wing elements in his maifesto. The fact is Breivik was simply crazy. he was diagnosed mentally ill as a child. And the three court appointed psychiatric experts diagnosed him with half a dozen mental illnesses.

But because under Norway law those court diagnosis of mental illness meant that Breivik had to be released after being certified as under effective treatment, this meant Breivik could have been out in a year. So the Norway court, solely based on public opinion, asked for a second round of diagnosis and he was bogusly diagnosed as sane. Most defendants want to be diagnosed as crazy but in Breiviks case his type of illness actually made him desperate to be diagnosed as sane and he was able to fake sanity.

        the core things going on are;
        1) these are narcissists, but irreverent ones, desperate to be relevant. There is a huge internal ego dissonance/double bind between their narcissism and the fact that they are inconsequential people.
        2) the media will give HUGE coverage to any of these gun events. this despite peer reviewed expert science showing the mass killers are MOTIVATED by the media coverage. Because the media is cheerleading the lefts attempt to destroy the individual right to self defense so the media will give this undo coverage.

And it is relative undo coverage when guns are involved. Mentally ill Andreas Lubitz killed 150 people with no gun and got less news coverage than any mass shooter.

        1. avatar Geoff PR says:

Breivik will _never_ walk free. For all it’s touted compassion, the Norwegian people will never tolerate his freedom…

    2. avatar uncommon_sense says:

It certainly appears that he could have easily used alternate methods for mass murder.

While this might seem counter-intuitive, I hope all mass murderers use firearms rather than any of those alternate methods. Why? Because once a mass murderer hits the “go button” on those alternate methods, there is no turning back, the casualty count is determined at the moment that he/she hit the “go button”, and there is no way to minimize the casualty count after that point. On the other hand, a mass murderer who uses a firearm requires something like 60 to 120 seconds to achieve a large casualty count. If an armed defender is present, that defender can return fire within something like four seconds and GREATLY reduce the casualty count that otherwise would have happened.

It should be obvious that a lower casualty count is always better than a higher casualty count.

      1. avatar Martin Buck says:

Not far off, if you go by our media content. Once we used to have refreshing British comedies and drank tea – now we watch American type reality shows and drink coffee and red bull. And there is a certain breed of gun owner who is gung ho about 2A rights (even though we have no written constitution), and goes about playing soldiers on a range, when they are far too fat and unhealthy to get into the Boy Scouts.

We may be looking at the sunset of our gun rights. Wilfully ignorant and utterly stupid media pundits are supporting our naive (but nice) PM’s call for the banning of all semi automatic rifles, despite Military Style Semi Autos being only a minority. This is exacerbated by a California type interpretation of gun laws, where a basic license (Category A) can get you a mutated version of an AR15, equipped with a 5 round hunting magazine. This requires only the fitting of a 20 or 30 round magazine, to fall within the more strict Category E, for MSSAs. Unfortunately there was no apparent need to display a Category E license, so this evil villain got his mass murder machine on the cheap and under the radar. This lack of identification should have been illegal, and the gun shop owner(an aggressive and litigious man, with no respect for the law and plenty of jail time) should also be in the dock. This legal lacuna requires urgent correction to prevent a repeat performance. But I fear our gun rights will be sold down the river in the rush to judgement, when cool heads should prevail.

The fine detail is beyond the intellect of our media masterminds, who regard gun owners as baby murdering racists.

And some gun owners are surrendering their semi autos in a nauseating show of virtue signalling, hoping to defray any personal approbrium their neighbours might place upon them.

As a poor person unable to afford the fancier kind of MSSAs that everyone is ranting about, I will not be joining this particular march of dishonour.

Handguns have been illegal to carry for personal protection in NZ, since well before World War II. The British Empire didn’t want their rule challenged, even by English residents of Empire countries. By and large this has not been a problem, we now rely on courtesy and good manners to avoid any social unpleasantness. But sometimes, like with this incident, a gun owner carrying a weapon could have saved a lot of lives.

His point in naming the USA and the Second Amendment is his sick theory of trying to start a civil war in the USA. It isn’t the Second Amendment he is against. It’s the USA as a nation for perceived wrongs against his people and non-Europeans/whites living anyplace he does not want them to be.

“I’m not going to shed a single tear.”

OK, Mr. Breivik, you can go back to your cell, now…

(I’m sorry, but with a name like Anders, and a mass shooting, that was just too *perfect* to pass up! 😉 )

  22. avatar MouseGun says:

I’m not the type to shout false flag, nor am I saying that’s what this is, but as more details come out, some of this stuff seems a bit on the nose, right? It’s not just me, right?

    1. avatar enuf says:

No, there are no false flags in these things. A crazy bastard with a twisted plan killed a bunch of people. That really happened.

      1. avatar CC says:

Not full on false flagging, but certainly lying usually by omission of facts by the media and the left to take advantage. so many of the elements of false flag even though the event itself was not.

        1. avatar enuf says:

Incompetence, bias and spin are common to all news media no matter they be left or right leaning. None of which touches upon “false flag”.

    2. avatar Hannibal says:

It’s not just you, but I’m not sure it’s a good thing that plenty of people have severe deficits of tinfoil when it comes to this sort of thing. Bad people do bad things, and no ordered force is needed to make it happen.

And yes, it could happen to you tomorrow. So I get why people would like to believe it’s all just a ruse. But the amount of people that would need to be involved in a conspiracy would make it impossible.

  23. avatar Jonathan Speegle says:

So again the only thing that stopped this was a good guy with a gun showing up well before any authority. If anything this bolsters everything we say about gun free zones and the fact bad actors dont follow any laws.

  24. avatar Mad Max says:

So, let’s see, he says he’s an eco-fascist and glad conservatism is dying in the US and he is is a white supremacist.

Sounds like a Leftist to me…

    1. avatar enuf says:

He is not a leftist. Reading his manifesto, he’s all over the right-left spectrum on what he is. The only consistency is that he wants ethically white Europeans to make more babies and kick out everyone who does not fit his racial-ethnic description.

He’s got a lot of noise in his manifesto but he’s a violent white supremacist and terrorist thru and thru.

      1. avatar pwrserge says:

So… a leftist then? Or did we forget who runs on the identitarian side of the field? Who founded the KKK?

    2. avatar Hannibal says:

You did not comprehend it manifesto properly. Or you chose not to.

  25. avatar MB says:

Any surprise some ” Eco-fascist ” wants to eliminate the 2nd Amendment, just like all the “Eco-fascist ” here like Chucky, AOC, etc…. Key word is “Fascist” which is almost exactly like “Communist” except spelled differently.

    1. avatar Hannibal says:

Another person who didn’t read it through. He doesn’t want to end the 2nd Amendment ; he wants liberals to try and end it so that hopefully the attempt starts a civil war that will spiral into a race war.

      1. avatar MB says:

@Hannibal I read it, let me explain it in terms you can understand. Using a proxy to accomplish an act is legally the same as doing it yourself. Hire a hit man to murder to someone, well in the eyes of the law, you are the murderer. Penalties the same. Regardless of who completes the act, it’s the same desired result.

  26. avatar Chris T in KY says:

It still seems that a truck, a large cargo vehicle, or automobile are still much more effective in killing people based on recent events in France and Germany, as well as the United States. All driven by Muslims.

No I’m not politically correct. And I will continue to point out the facts.

    1. avatar Mad Max says:

Yep. If we add up the total dead from violent non-government actors since the beginning of this century, Islamic fundamentalists get the blame for vastly (an understatement) more deaths than any other group.

      But don’t hate them….

    2. avatar SoCalJack says:

It seems these nut jobs, regardless of their religions/political backgound, have this sick end goal to give the Left Media the most graphic photo/video coverage. I’m waiting to learn how he got his guns in a place like NZ.

  27. avatar StLPro2A says:

As the shooter stated, he could have chosen any method with which to kill.
“Killing is a matter of will, not weapons.
You cannot control the act itself
by passing laws about the means employed.”
The late Col Jeff Cooper, 1958
Handgun expert and founder of Gunsite Academy
A politician with a law never stops a bad guy with a gun
he only cintrols the good guy….which is his true agends.
Evil and violence exist….be prepared to decisively deal with them or be over whelmed by them.
Laws only control those accepting to be controlled. Criminals choose not to be controlled by laws.
If God’s “Thou Shalt Not Kill” isn’t sufficient,
Why would a politician’s law be the answer???

  28. avatar Ogre says:

I read the shooter’s manifesto and it’s quite a ramble through the ideologies. He seems to have cherry-picked what he liked and ignored the rest, but it’s apparent from what he says that he has all the answers to what’s wrong with the world – people moving around from country to country, and whites not making enough babies, or whatever, and how to fix it. If he thought it was bad in New Zealand, he’d LOVE it in the USA melting pot. Now I’m wondering if there are any more out there like him and when they’ll show up. Oh, and I really appreciate our USA leaders for waving the bloody shirt and suggesting that WE need more gun control because of an incident that took place on the other side of the world – they never met a crisis they didn’t like.

  29. avatar HP says:

“This attempted abolishment of rights by the left will result in a dramatic polarization of the people in the United States and eventually a fracturing of the US along cultural and racial lines.”

So basically this guy is just laying out the goal of the Maoist (Democrat) party. We didn’t really need his help for this, leftists are already well on their way to making this a reality.

  30. avatar Porridgeweasel says:

I read some of the nut jobs ramblings. (Thanks for the link. I expect it to disappear or be heavily modified very soon).

Then I decided to trip the light fantastic and head over to CNN to see what the Ding Dongs of Truth were talking about.
Found an article written 56 minutes ago about the “terrorist’s manifesto” and wouldn’t you know it, the writer doesn’t mention the terrorist’s written intent to have the left try and destroy our 2A rights. She does however, point to our President, Hungary and another country as having “right wing” ideas about being out birthed by incoming populations.

I know, I know, I shouldn’t be surprised but I just had to see what flavor of truth they were pushing today. Rejoice! It’s Tooty Fruity!

  31. avatar former water walker says:

I glazed over the remarks…lots of dumbchit. Who gets excited over the near DAILY murder of Christian’s in Africa & Asia? Anyone?!?

    1. avatar WI Patriot says:

ONLY when it suits their agenda…

  32. avatar Night Fox says:

And of course the media and socialists in this country will say how this deranged and racist, but otherwise perfectly wise, intelligent, and levelheaded individual was seduced down the path of wickedness by the mere presence of eeeeeeeevil guns, and that we should all heed his calls for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment. After all, if not for the presence of guns, he would have been merely a violent, racist, fascist, eco-nut just trying to make the world a better place, just like the young democrats in this country. But clearly its the gun’s fault.

And of course they will pander to foreign influences when it is to their liking, see illegal immigration, see Uranium One, see George Soros; but if they can even make up an instance of foreign influence for conservative goals, be prepared to be investigated for years, have crimes manufactured, and a prison sentence.

  33. avatar Mad says:

I am a 71yo grandfather so in many ways I’ve lived my life.when these Godless morons come for my guns we all get to go together.they will get me but at least I’ll die standing up and firing back. Jesus Christ is our only answer and this nation thru him out .I settled it with Him decades ago .so live or die I Win

  34. avatar Joe says:

What is even more scary is this: If gun grabbers and Second Amendment haters are treating us this badly NOW….with all the guns and ammo in circulation in the United States, can you imagine how bad it would be if the U.S. did NOT have a Second Amendment, and we were NOT armed? Oh wait, we would be getting run over and shot-such as is the case going on in Venezuela.

  35. avatar strych9 says:

Alfred Pennyworth was right when he said “Some men just want to watch the world burn”.

  36. avatar Ralph says:

Does anyone else see the irony of Muslim mosques being attacked in a place called Christchurch?

  37. avatar WI Patriot says:

“NZ Mosque Murderer Used Firearms to Prompt More Gun Control, End of Second Amendment in the US”

This comes as no surprise, but it sure is odd that when islamic terrorists stage attacks, nobody calls for the deportation of muslims…

  38. avatar MB says:

I know I am going to sound like a jerk (it’s never stopped me before) but I don’t worry or care about what they think of our laws in other countries. Our Bill of Rights and Constitution are like no other documents in history. We as Americans need to stand up and defend these God given rights. I am sorry 49 people lost their lives to some loon looking to make a political statement to affect our way of life, sorry but it’s their problem not mine. If more people were carrying guns ( I carry everywhere including church ) maybe the creep would have only gotten off a few rounds before somebody took him out. Their problems are their problems, and if someone here wants to make it my problem, well, he or she is going to have big problem with me…

    1. avatar John in Ohio says:

      Aye.

Except, I don’t believe he is a loon. His stated objective is being met. The target audience of his writing was social media and to bait MSM. It’s working.

Leftist identitarian nutjob goes on a rampage in a country where the levels of gun control would make New York City blush. Leftist media and usual suspects claim that the problem was with the right wing and a lack of gun control. News at 11

You have to really understand memes and forum culture to realize the thoughts behind what he wrote. It was actually a well thought out social media psyop. He clearly states the reasons he murdered those defenseless people and the piece is in furtherance of that goal.

He wasn’t “crazy”; evil, murderer, monster, yes… But clearly not crazy.

      “Remember lads, subscribe to Pewdiepie.”

That is Grand Master level, world wide, trolling right there.

You know you’ve been a successful troll when you rile up the whole board. What do you call it when you take it to real life and rile up the whole fucking world?

  42. avatar 24and7 says:

What is really sad is there is people that believe everything the government tells them.. they do not believe that their own government would stoop to any level to accomplish their so-called greater good.. in order to get to that greater good, there must be Firearms abolition.. then the people will have no choice but to submit to it.. the US is the last obstacle.. but they must make a vast majority of The Americans willingly give up and turn in their firearms.. so you indeed get these false Flags to achieve that goal.. and they are only going to get worse.

  43. avatar Frank says:

If you listen carefully to the PM’s comments it seems that Tarrant committed his crime in NZ because it was easier here. Australia has significantly stricter gun controls than NZ following the Fort Arthur massacre.

He was able to get a gun license in NZ and legally buy all his weapons. He could not have done this in Australia. Clearly, gun control works.

The PM has made it clear that NZ’s gun control laws WILL be strengthened.

    1. avatar TrueBornSonofLiberty says:

I’m an American, so I have no business inserting my opinions into their national dialogue. I expect the same courtesy from foreigners in return, btw. But if those terrible circumstance were to occur here, with victims numbering in the thousands, instead of dozens, I’d still say that it wouldn’t be a legitimate reason to even debate new infringements on our rights, let alone implement them. Can gun control work? I suppose if we could for a moment, suspend the logistical/practical plan towards achieving the bans and mass confiscation necessary to make a meaningful difference, I might agree. But to get to where the leftists want to go, they’d have to conspire to subvert our Constitution and then employ “mercenaries” to facilitate their agenda. Fortunately, between their planning stages and real world execution, we’d undoubtedly see dozens of millions DEFEND our Constitutional Republic and their God given rights, which would lead to the literal genocide of 10’s of millions of deserving leftists. And yes, as shocking as it may sound to a casual participant, it’s true that sometimes genocide is justifiable. The feral left will have no one to blame but themselves. For every democrat terrorist committed to destroying the Bill of Rights, there are two patriotic, heavily armed and highly trained Americans willing to fight a “Winner take all, once and for all” Restorative/Civil War.

    2. avatar strych9 says:

Maybe they will and maybe they won’t. They’ve been trying since 1997 and failing.

OTOH, they did change the MSSA laws in 1992 thanks to the Aramoana attack and that was only like twelve or thirteen people dead.

      1. avatar Frank says:

        Prime Minister’s comments:
Ms Ardern said the primary offender, Brenton Tarrant, was not finished with his attack when he left the Masjid Al Noor Mosque.
“There were two other firearms in the vehicle the offender was in and it was absolutely his intention to continue on with his attack,” Ms Ardern said.
Ms Ardern arrived in Christchurch about midday. She said today that New Zealand gun laws would change and the government would move swiftly on that.
Tarrant was in possession of a gun licence. Five guns were used in the attack, including two semi-automatic weapons and two shotguns.
“My advice currently is that under that gun licence he was able to acquire the guns that he held. That will give you an indication of why we need to change our gun laws,” she said.
Safety of New Zealanders was the biggest priority, she said.

  44. avatar Jmaie says:

the manifesto link is already dead, they clearly don’t want people to read it.
because its quickly dying everywhere it gets uploaded

    1. avatar John in Ohio says:

Torrents are you best bet for it and the video. NZ is actively seeking any source of it to shut it down. Other governments are following suit. It was reported on KiwiFarms.net that the forum owner, Null, had a request from a Texas sheriff’s office for the video because they couldn’t find a way to download it. They stated that they wanted it for training purposes.

  45. I didnt bother reading the “manifesto”…
I watched the shooter’s live stream and snickered at a few items…
I already know the ball less gun babiea are .. All of them… Whining sniveling and crying on the corners like the infantile pubescent narcissists they are.

The God Damned agenda wrote that fake ass manifesto… Not the gunman. There is NO SUCH THING as a “Trump” supporter that identifies with the communist party of China. Trump can probably shoot a rifle better than the fake news gibberites. Only thing that the rest of the world needs to watch out for is when the US gov makes a take down move on gun owners.

  46. avatar FB says:

The gunman got what he wanted in new Zealand in terms of gun control. New Zealand is allowing him to win.

  47. avatar CDMCKY says:

The NZ shooter’s motives are irrelevant, as there will ALWAYS be angry, violent,
murderous-maniacs, driven to kill for countless reasons of “hate”, jealousy,
greed, vengeance, political views, etc. and/or just plain mental insanity.

The only REAL solution is to be armed and ready when “they” come, which has
been proven true countless times; you cannot change the “behavioral possibilities”
of Human nature and the emotional/mental “faults” which compel people to commit
violence in small and mass quantities.

  48. avatar Noak says:

So many made up facts in your bs article. The man in the mosque didn’t have a gun on him, the man inside the mosque picked up a credit card machine and threw it at him and let him waste his remaining bullets while zig zagging through parked cars. Tarrant left because he ran out of bullets lol. I swear you pro-gun morons will say anything to protect your deluded thirst to feel powerful by owning a gun.

    1. avatar Draven says:

So let me get this… in trying to discredit him using a gun to defend himself and others, you say that he didn’t even chase off the assailant, just make him run out of bullets a little faster, and this is supposed to be better and more acceptable than if he had a gun? You anti-gun people, always so desperate to protect your deluded notion that it cannot possibly be that the best way to protect yourself from an assailant with a firearm… is to have a firearm… and that you desperately need us to believe that police are all oppressive thugs who can’t be trusted and also should be the only ones trusted to have firearms…

And in the UK, knife crimes are becoming common, so they are talking about…. putting tracking devices in every knife sold, because that would totally work…

      1. avatar Iraqvet2003 says:

My advice is to not give the time of day with a response. There is no logical conversation with the left. They obviously don’t live in the real world but rather some fantasy utopia that only they can see. Which is fine that’s their right but their right in fantasy land doesn’t and won’t dictate my rights in the real world. I’ll keep my guns to protect myself and my family and they can suck on it when some deranged idiot intent on killing people comes knocking.

  49. avatar Tom says:

Any question, of the importance, or the reason the 2A was included in the Bill of Rights was just solidified by this moron.
