Welcome to A7Mad’s 2019 EDC from Everyday Carry.

A7 hails from Unaiza, Saudi Arabia. His little MAB copy of the old Colt .25 pistol makes him unique, to say the least. Yes, it’s a French MAB in 6.5mm or .25 Auto. I suppose a .25 Auto in the pocket beats an AK left at home in the closet any day.

Just going to venture a guess and say he’s carrying what’s available to him in deep concealment. Because for that weight and approximate size, there are a lot better options out there. At least there are to us here in America.

  1. It’s strange to me that he would choose to carry such a tiny firearm considering they all wear really flowy white man-dresses (aka a thoub) that provides lots of room for something bigger.
But Saudi men have been getting really fat in recent years, so that might have something to do with it.

  2. …yea, a Seecamp .32 acp would be far more practical in a minimalist way.

I own one and it will easily fit in a shirt pocket if necessary.

      • Holster is not really necessary, but I sometimes use a Sticky SM-3. Very small and does not leave any ‘print’. Very light trigger.

I have seen what looks to be a cel phone holder that clips onto a belt that does a good job of concealing what you really are ‘packing’.

  3. Just speculating here but I’m guessing that he’s not of the royal family or has any “connections”. Probably if he upgraded to a nine his piece might be discovered by the authorities and gets him arrested. And I for one would NOT like to spend any time in a Saudi prison.

  4. When I was in high school Sandra used to carry a Baby Browning in .25 ACP in her purse every day. Of course every pickup in the parking lot had a rifle, or shotgun of some description in the gun rack. Doors unlocked. Who was going to steal them? We all had our own guns. Who needed anyone else’s?

  5. My birthday was yesterday. Becky and I spent a little while talking about those days. Wish young adults today could experience those days. She lives in Broward County now. Doesn’t understand how Parkland happened. She said, “Paul, everybody had guns when we were in high school. Nothing like that ever happened.” I said, “Nothing like that ever happened because we all had guns.”

  6. Used to be, contract oil execs. were allowed 2 handguns. Secretaries, (male), were allowed pretty much whatever they wanted. Suppressed Steyr TMPs were well thought of. Execs. Got the villas with the indoor swimming pools, secretaries had to muddle through with inground/backyard swimmin’ holes. Everybody had a “water purifier”, dehydration is no joke. Good times. -30-
