What a strange world to live in, probably break 35 laws stepping out of bed in the morning.
If only our forefathers had experienced this type of crushing vise like grip and had to live under numerous restrictions from rulers who make you “feel” free as long as you believe you have freedom to move inside your cage…. maybe things would be different….

I’m at least glad to see its only about a grand. Being the only semi auto pistol AR choice available in the land of the wealthy it would not surprise me to see $2500 on its tag.

Now to get them into the hands of the people who need them before they figure out how to ban it.

    1. avatar Mark N. says:

“Need” them? Heck, I don’t even WANT one, much less “need” one.

  2. F*** communist authoritarian California!

  3. avatar Draven says:

The magazine isn’t actually detachable detachable… can’t be. Pistols with a removable mag that is in some location other than the grip are instantly assault weapons under CA law.

“Pistols with a removable mag that is in some location other than the grip are instantly assault weapons under CA law.”

Why does a different position of the magwell cause a weapon more likely to be used for an assault? I fuckin’ hate Kommiefornia so much…

The magazine is probably just barely outside legal specifications of “removable.” Basically the bullet button of 2018. But that’s just my guess. Kommiefornia’s description of “removable magazine” changed when someone developed something too convenient, I won’t be surprised if it happens again with this. It’s all so tiresome.

The pistol has to be SEMIAUTOMATIC. This Franklin gun isn’t…..

        California Penal Code section 30515.

        (a) Notwithstanding Section 30510, “assault weapon” also means any of the following:
        ……….
        (4) A semiautomatic pistol that does not have a fixed magazine but has any one of the following:
        ……..
        (D) The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip.

        1. avatar Jeremy B. says:

Also, if it was a semi-auto it would have to have micro stamping in 2 spot in the brass to be able to be sold in CA. Since that doesn’t exist, this must no be a semi auto.

  4. avatar BehindEnemyLines says:

The reason this is legal is it’s not semi-automatic. It’s like British AR-15s. You have to charge it manually for every shot. It can be modified after purchase with a fixed mag and a gas tube to restore semi-automatic function. Personally, I would change the entire upper, so I’m hoping Franklin Armory also sells it as just a lower.

    1. avatar raptor jesus says:

      It’s a pump gun?

      1. avatar anonymoose says:

        Bolt-action.

    2. avatar California Richard says:

+1… yep. Per DOJ regs, it’s missing key compenents necessary for semi automatic fire (gas tube), therefore it isn’t considered a semiauto. Give it a few months and some (D) pol is going to call it a loop hole and try to write a law.

  5. avatar ROBERT Powell says:

when the idiots find out that it shoots bullets instead of bb”s they will seize the ones that are sold ,fine the byer and outlaw them…

  6. avatar Widdler says:

I guess i’m missing the point, there’s actually a market for this? Really?

  7. avatar 22winmag says:

Support Franklin and buy a BFSIII binary trigger.

I can now shoot instant doubletaps about 6 inches apart at 50 yards with my eyes closed.

    1. avatar Mark N. says:

…Unless you live n California where such triggers are banned.

      1. avatar 22winmag says:

Speaking of Communist Shitholes like California… I don’t see people laying their lives down in defense of America tomorrow whoo won’t even defy a heavy-handed law or court order today.

        Just sayin’

Wont last? Gov elect slime ball Newsom will surly bring down the hammer, when when sitting on his throne. Legal, law-abiding, American citizens are 2nd class in this poo hole state.

WARNING AMERICA. Commie kalifornia is like a STD. Infectious and spreads.

  9. avatar Docduracoat says:

Florida banned the binary trigger along with bump stocks.
All rate increasing devices were banned
