    Fine Canada, you be you.

    1. avatar uncommon_sense says:

      Ray,

There is a problem with that fine sentiment: the other side is not content to let you be you. Rather, the other side has an insatiable desire to force you to be like them.

      Proof:
      — Our side has NO desire to force all people to be armed.
      — The other side desires to FORCE all people to be unarmed.

This saying sums it up quite nicely:
“You may not be interested in politics, but politics are interested in you.”

      1. avatar Ray from Bama says:

They want us too, they cannot force us too without consequences.

    2. avatar neiowa says:

For decades the Canukian twit political religion has been “no we’re NOT a territory of the US. And you can’t make us”

      1. avatar Silver fox says:

Play a game of conquering the world and you will find out who should really own Canada and Mexico.

    3. avatar Ranger Rick says:

      And they are….

“Canadians, unlike Americans, do not have a constitutional right to bear arms,” Canada’s high court said in a 1993 decision that upheld a ban on convertible semi-automatic weapons.

      1. avatar Drake_Burrwood says:

Some of our Founding Fathers not liking the Summer heat and being unsure why with all the State Bills of Rights they would need a Union One.
Argued that a Bill of Rights was unnecessary; “as All educated Englishmen Know their Rights”.
At least Until the British Empire finally conquered the very Tribe that created it, the English.

  2. avatar dpk54 says:

Personally, I could care LESS what Canada, or any other country’s leaders think!!!! Seems to me they should all be delousing their own closets before criticizing others when it comes to politics!!

    1. avatar surlycmd says:

Odd, I could not care less what Canada does.

    2. avatar RA-15 says:

      Well said DPK54. I couldn’t agree more.

  3. avatar Gov. William J Le Petomane says:

Canada’s fate was sealed with the death of Rob Ford. There’s no saving it now.

    1. avatar Klaus Von Schmitto says:

Canada was finished when John Candy died.

    2. avatar JR Pollock says:

Not so fast there, Governor. Doug Ford was just sworn in as the new Premier of Ontario. There might be hope for Canada after all.

  4. avatar Manse Jolly says:

Some might be amazed at the number of Canadians and Europeans that comment on twitter concerning how barbaric the US is. Contrast that with many in the US that have the attitude of ‘Mind our own business’.

I know twitter is for the younger crowd, but I was out on medical leave at the beginning of the year and needed something to do at night when I could not sleep.

Pointing out myths and falsehoods to the anti-gun crowd can be rewarding and sometimes fun when their world view gets challenged.

  5. avatar John Q Public says:

….Yeah, and take back your worthless Canadian Coins and Paper money…We don’t want it here…The People of Maine would problably thank you….

  6. avatar FedUp says:

…because London’s crime rates and individual freedoms are much better to emulate.

  7. avatar uncommon_sense says:

This photo presents a fine Beta Male specimen in his natural environment. Notice how this specimen is dressed in a smart-looking polo shirt and sport jacket combination which sends a strong submissive signal to potential female mates who have no desire to continue their lineage.

You may additionally notice how this Beta Male specimen generates auditory messages which also communicate his submissive character to other specimens. Generating submissive auditory messages attracts other Beta Males (and Beta Females) and creates a herd where all members reinforce their submissive nature.

    1. avatar GS650G says:

I bet he hangs out in restrooms on freeways.

    2. avatar jwtaylor says:

That’s not a polo, it’s a button down shirt and sport coat. It was basic hunting attire in this country for a couple hundred years.

      1. avatar 'liljoe says:

It’s a great way to carry concealed in an office environment.

      2. avatar neiowa says:

Not a buttondown. I think you are very confused by “this country”. Perhaps in “your county” .

  8. avatar Rusty Chains says:

I pity Canadians, just look at that useless Trudeau!

    1. avatar former water walker says:

Eyebrow boy LOL😄😎😏Yeah screw everyone over a “crazy” muslim. THAT makes sense😩

  9. avatar John in IN says:

If by, “If anything, what’s happened in the United States is what not to do.”, you mean: Using every tragedy to strip more rights from the peaceable and law abiding – who were uninvolved in the the tragedy, then I agree with that statement.

It would be better to stop punishing the innocent for the acts of deranged killers.

  10. avatar Sam I Am says:

Canadians have (their problem with) Quebec because guns. The US tried twice to take Quebec from the British, but nooooooooo, they wanted to keep it. Fought us off with…. GUNS.

  11. avatar Sheep_dog says:

Smarmy jerk; At the end of the day we’ll still have our guns and the means to fight tyranny; Canada will have their Feelz.

  12. avatar Texican says:

The U.S. is so far ahead of every other country in just about any good metric you’d like to use. It’s a shame that no other country has learned from our success and emulated it. Most are just jealous and want to bring us down to their level.

    1. avatar Ray from Bama says:

      Ding, ding, ding!

    2. avatar Joe R. says:

That’s not the half of it.

We’re labled ‘invaders’ and ‘meddlers’ if we attempt to spool any other country up to the current century in any manner of modernity that we enjoy (even if it’s just after a natural disaster or war). [e.g., Fucking Iraq, “Keep your clean running water and bathing habits but turn our electricity back on 24/7/365 and make sure we can get satellite t.v. (no, we don’t know why our live birth-rate climbs 1% for every month you are here, it must be allah-swill )”]

We’re labled ‘rapers of the environment’ and ‘usurpers’ if we freely trade for materials at market prices, even though the commercing nation had no idea the materials existed before we showed up to trade, and they couldn’t give a Fuck that their communist leader is keeping all the proceeds.

We’re labeled “winners of life’s lottery” even though we, as AMERICANS, can fucking do “America” anywhere in this fucking solar system that we choose to (or are invited to) plant Old Glory, regardless of which shithole that is.

People are killing themselves and their kids to get here, we don’t have a similar problem of people killing themselves to get out.

      Again, F em all.

      1. avatar neiowa says:

Yep. And if we allow you to squat here in the US for an hour or a day you have received a gift you can not possibly repay. Now take what you learned back to your 3rd world cesspool (or Eurp) and make it like the US.

Hint: START by adopting the US Constitution and Bill of Rights. If you don’t bother with the rest of the amendments you won’t be missing out on that much.

  13. avatar whitey says:

    About his “pharmacist/gun dealer” brother:
“Last September — while Fahad was in a coma — fire crews responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at the Pickering home and alerted police to a suspicious substance in the basement. Durham Regional Police executed a search warrant, finding 33 guns and other prohibited devices, such as overcapacity magazines, and seized 53 kilograms of a substance identified as the deadly street drug carfentanil.”
    https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2018/07/24/danforth-gunman-not-on-the-radar-of-national-security-agencies-safety-minister-says.html

With this amount of carfentanil he could have decimated Toronto.

  14. avatar dlj95118 says:

“A unit of carfentanil is 100 times as potent as the same amount of fentanyl, 5,000 times as potent as a unit of heroin and 10,000 times as potent as a unit of morphine.

The toxicity of carfentanil in humans and its ready commercial availability has aroused concerns over its potential use as a weapon of mass destruction by rogue nations and terrorist groups.” – Wikipedia

    Damn!

    1. avatar Joe R. says:

But hey, let’s have hippie growers and dispensaries be the physical portal for legalized medical marijuana.

Hey, too, let’s have $15 / hr competing off-the-books foreign nationals work as cooks and dishwashers, maintenance people, and grocery stockers in our favorite eateries, hospitals.

      1. avatar Snatchums says:

What the fuck does a plant have to do with a synthetic opioid?

        1. avatar Joe R. says:

If you’re going there to obtain and snarf some weed, you might not be able to lick all of it before you use it to know what might have been applied to it.

Never seen anyone get some dusted-bud?

          But we get it. You’re a weed-fan.

        2. avatar Snatchums says:

No, I’m really not a fan, I have no interest in it. I haven’t smoked since my 20’s. The whole “weed is evil and must be stomped out of civilization at any cost” position is an ignorant and authoritarian position. Why would you ever care what someone else does to their body unless you want to control people?

Also, lacing a product you sell with a deadly toxin is a horrible business model that is guaranteed to bankrupt you. What motivation would a dispensary ever have to do such a patently stupid move?

        3. avatar neiowa says:

If you were smoking pot in your 20s it is highly unlikely you know anything worth listing to you about. Perhaps can write of teenage as stupid or immature or rebellious idiot. After that? No.

        4. avatar Joe R. says:

          @Snatchumley

“Why would you ever care what someone else does to their body unless you want to control people?” Maybe because it’s wholesale impairment and I have to share the planet with such impaired people (who will tell you they’re not) until JESUS comes back. I don’t want to control anyone, I just want to fucking be able to demand that motherfuckers be able to control themselves, ok? Like, stay in your lane man.

“What motivation would a dispensary ever have to do such a patently stupid move?” Ah. . . maybe as a WMD like was implied in this string and my post? I could’ve used the local Chinese dry-cleaner business spreading the biological agent, or the Mexican lawn spraying company but who’s got that kind of time.

        5. avatar Joe R. says:

          @Snatchurally

Oh, and “The whole “weed is evil and must be stomped out of civilization at any cost” position” isn’t my position.

Mine is: “weed” users can’t rise to the level of worthless with regard to protecting Society, so we have to do it for them, and that’s a fucking tax.

    2. avatar neiowa says:

Carfentanil brought to you by ———- Chicoms/PLA

  15. avatar Joe R. says:

    If anything. . .

Canada can #NaCl until JESUS comes back to save them from their muslim hoarde assholes.

    F em all.

  16. avatar Eli2016 says:

It’s your problem Joe Cressy not ours. If you and your kind wanna keep being sheep for the slaughterhouse, I got nothing to say except don’t come knocking on my door.

  17. avatar Ralph says:

What can we expect from a nation that thinks Labatt’s Blue is good beer.

  18. avatar Jonathan-Houston says:

By “America” he must mean “Mogadishu.” Sure, we have the occasional spree killer motivated by politics, personal issues, racial animus, or just severely psychotic people seeking the infamy of going out in a blaze of glory. Many countries have has similar experiences, including Canada.

What people also point to is our overall crime rate. Well, we don’t have quite the same popluation as those other countries. Nor do we have the incessant moralizing and litigating that insulates these monsters and keeps them going.

I’m talking about black people, especially black males between the ages twelve and thirty. Exclude them and the violence they commit from the stats and overnight we’re safer than Lichtenstein. The proof? Look at states where that is about the demographic makeup, like Vermont or Maine, and you’ll see gentle little lamb people with plenty of guns, but free of this kind of violence.

    1. avatar Mastro says:

Canada doesn’t even count Blacks (African-Canadians?) They have a term called “Visible Minority”

They mix Asians, Middle Easterners and Blacks together and get a respectable average number on stuff like crime, school graduation etc.

      Yes- its basically fraud.

      1. avatar Joe R. says:

        HA!!! “Visible Minority” ???

Who’s the invisible minority? Clear people?

  19. avatar Mastro says:

Why is this guy hanging out at a public housing estate?

    1. avatar Ralph says:

Because the nearest public toilet was closed for repairs.

  20. avatar Nanashi says:

Compare the adjacent Yukon and Alaska. Alaska had 7 murders per 100,000 while Yukon had 10.67. Alaska actually has 50 times the population density.

  21. avatar Green Mtn. Boy says:

Who gives a rats patootie what Canadians want or don’t want and while were at it they can keep their poor excuse for bacon.

  22. avatar Arc says:

We literally just need to conquer Canada and Mexico. North america will simply be called america.

  23. avatar thevictoriousgecko says:

In the interest of not offending radical Islamic terrorists, Toronto announced a new initiative, whereby homosexuals and Jews can be legally killed as the enemies of Allah as said in the Wahhabi interpretation of the Quran. They will be required to wear pink and yellow triangles, for proper identification.

  24. avatar FKM says:

Hmmm, lemme see… Do I give a damn what Canadians think of us?

    Nope.

  25. avatar Tex Griffin says:

Annex Canada and Mexico. NAFTA trade issues solved.

  26. avatar Zebra dun says:

That’s nice, you can go home now Bubba keep your gun grabbing hands off America.
P/S Don’t let the door hit you in the Canada on your way out, bye! 🕺
