Everyday Carry Pocket Dump of the Day – Alan Bingenheimer

Allen carries a couple of very pocketable pistols. Not pictured: an Alien gear IWB Holster for the Ruger or ankle pouch for CAT or belt pouches for a spare 9mm mag and flashlight. See all his gear at Everyday Carry . . .

  1. Two guns, two knives – he is gonna either shoot or cut himself very soon.

    Hence the tourniquet,

Only 1 knife, but usually have Swiss Army knife. Leatherman is TSA approved nail file, scissors and pliers. Two phones on different carriers in case I swallow the NAA 22 magnum. Backup is important – what’s in your EDC?

  2. avatar Rokurota says:

    LC9s. Great gun.

But what’s with the dump pouch full of spare .22 mags? By the time you can reload the NAA, you could have written your will and had it notarized.

    1. avatar Al Bing - WI says:

5 Rounds in NAA.. You are right. Takes a lot of time to reload, but better to have it than wish you did. 5 rounds vs 20 – no penalty on size.

  3. avatar Timmy! says:

    A) What the hell is that orange thing?

    2) Hey! That’s the same flip phone I carry! Luddites, UNITE!

  4. avatar Joe in San Antonio says:

How do you rate your NAA with the flip open grip? I am looking at purchasing a NAA, i might be going insane, but can’t decide between the flip grip and an oversized conventional grip.

    1. avatar Al Bing - WI says:

Flip grip better for a larger hand. Can be purchased separately from NAA. Using without a holster means careful maintenance of the gun to keep out pocket fuzz. The orange thingy is a CAT-T tourniquet.
