Each year we give our readers a chance to vote on the products they think were the best new additions to the firearms market and we recognize their choices at the annual SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year the race for the best new accessory was especially tight — with thousands of votes cast, the difference between first and third place entries was exactly five votes.

That said, the winner is definitely a deserving design. Expanding on their success with the pistol stabilizing brace — an accessory that’s been almost solely responsible for the craze in pistol length versions of full size rifles over the last couple years —  SB Tactical has released a new ATF-approved version which can be adjusted for length of pull. Dubbed the MPX PSB, the product is designed specifically for the SIG SAUER MPX, but I’d wager that we will see this feature on more of their models in the coming year.

    • The Donald needs to get off his ass so I can buy the select-fire version with all barrels, plus the suppressor. And a case of ammo. Forget the PSB, legalize the SBR and call it a day.

  1. Holding off on either SBR’ing or getting a brace for my AR pistol. Don’t want to jinx anything and really don’t want to throw away money.

  2. While I’m optimistic about suppressors being taken off the NFA, I’m a bit less so regarding SBRs (haven’t seen any proposed legislation).

As for full autos….even given the current situation, I’d be shocked to see them taken off the NFA. We might get the ’86 ban on manufacture repealed, though.

  3. Shotguns and rifles should have the same minimal length.
It might be easier to reduce the minimum length to say 71/2 inches that to remove it completely.
Make suppressors like a pistol, give them serial number and require a background check.
These may be easier to pass than removing all laws
