Sweet. Haven’t seen one of those in a while.

  2. avatar Hamster in a Wheel says:

Pretty cool. At first glance I thought it was a Stg 44.

    1. avatar De Facto says:

Agreed. Good looking gun. I was going to order one until I found this.

I will be preordering. Best part is that it uses STANAG mags for both 5.56 and 7.62×39.

      1. avatar Big Bill says:

Um, WHAT!?!?! Finally!!! This needs to be an article on TTAG.

  3. avatar Five says:

I saw one of those a few days ago in 7.62×51. That’s a really cool rifle.

  4. avatar Cloudbuster says:

Seeing this variant raises a question that’s been bugging me lately. Are there any other rifles besides the Mosin-Nagant that you can commonly find in the U.S. chambered for 7.62x54R? For some reason I rarely see any Dragunov semi-autos for sale, and when I do, they’re unreasonably expensive.

    2. avatar Arkansas kurt says:

svt-40. still kinda pricey but not as bad as the dragunov. I’m in the market for one this holiday season.

    3. avatar Dracon1201 says:

That’s because no one makes them, and no one imports them. You can, however, buy a Vepr.

      1. avatar Arkansas kurt says:

true, but they are oh so cool. It’s going to be the next rifle I purchase.

    4. avatar CRF says:

Try looking for the Romanian PSL. They are similar in appearance (but not in function, they’re like a beefed up AK) to the Dragunov, and come with a scope. They run about $700

  5. avatar Right to arm Bears says:

    Mmmmmm! gun porn!

  6. avatar Indiana Tom says:

    Never heard of one.

  7. avatar Indiana Tom says:

This rifle is a copy of the HK91 .308 rifle that has been made recently in 7.62 X 39 caliber. It is made by the PTR Company and is a fine weapon.

  8. avatar anaxis says:

Now I need one to keep my CETME company.
