If you’re one of the legion of certified SIG SAUER honks – and why wouldn’t you be? – filling out your Christmas ‘want’ list this year just got a whole lot easier. As has the shopping experience. SIG’s just announce a redesign and re-launch of their retail web portal selling all manner of branded gear to fit and complement your favorite SIGgy heater. They’ve also cut the cost of shipping and it’s now free if you buy more than $100 worth of stuff. Press release after the jump . . .

NEWINGTON, N.H. (July 31, 2014) — SIG SAUER® has launched a redesigned webstore, offering an expanded selection of SIG SAUER branded clothing, merchandise, accessories, and a new line of Mitch Rosen designed holsters.

The SIG SAUER webstore has always been the premier online resource for factory parts and accessories. Now fans can show their affinity for the SIG SAUER brand with a selection of men’s and women’s shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and drinkware.

“SIG SAUER owners are passionate about their firearms,” said Jeff Creamer, SIG SAUER Executive Director and Chief Merchandise Manager. “Now they can show that passion with products that fit the SIG SAUER brand.”

In addition to new clothing, SIG SAUER has partnered with Mitch Rosen Extraordinary Gunleather to provide a line of SIG SAUER-specific holsters, including hard-to-find holsters for handguns such as the SP2022®, 1911, P320, P250® and P290®. Right- and left-hand models are available in most patterns.

“Mitch Rosen is one of the top holster manufacturers out there, and we’re excited to offer these products,” Creamer said.

While many of the products in the webstore are new, Creamer said they are just the beginning.

“Expect to see more and more products being added in the future,” he said. “We’re working with some of the best clothing and accessory manufacturers to develop some really cool items.”

The new SIG SAUER webstore can be found at www.sigsauer.com/SigStore.

  1. Wow. Maybe if Sig went back to just making Sigs the Sig guys I know wouldn’t be complaining about the recent 226s being what they insist is garbage compared to the older good ones.
And then they wouldn’t be making Colt .380s and Glocks and .45s.
‘Course, I’m starting to suspect my 84-year-old mother is making “1911s” now… everybody else is.
    I should call her anyway.

  2. It’s the P320.

Think about it, you can buy literally thousands of dollars of hardware for your single ATF-defined “gun” direct from Sig. They don’t have to share a single dollar on anything but the actual “gun-trigger thing” with any distributor or dealer. All profit straight to Sig. It’s friggin brilliant and a game changer in the pistol retailing business model.

    • The P320 might be “friggin brilliant”, but a “game changer”? I don’t know if I’d go that far, even if Leghorn and the rest friggin love it.

Not to bash SIG. Heavens no. Wouldn’t want to do that. It’s not like they’re a couple decades late to the striker fired handgun party or anything.

  3. I’ve always wondered why I should pay a major company good money to advertise their products for them by purchasing and wearing a product with their name on it that would be perfectly useable without the name. . . Do I need to advertise my loyalty to some gun maker by providing free promotional space to them, a considerable value, at my own expense?

Doesn’t make sense, does it? Don’t you think that SIG-Sauer should send me free stuff with their name on it to help advertise their stuff? Yeah, that’s the ticket.

The problem with that idea is that I NEVER wear or display in public, unless at the range, anything that advertises that I might like guns, own guns, use guns, or carry one: No NRA sticker on my car, no ‘Glock’ baseball cap, no basketweave belt. It’s enough that I know who I am and what I do; Nobody else needs that knowledge to use against me.

    • I almost never wear branded items either. But they’re affinity items. It shows you’re part of the team. And a lot of people look at them as they would a Dallas Cowboys hat or an Atlanta Braves jersey.

      • Or anything with a Harley-Davidson logo.

IIRC,H-D makes more money on their MotorClothes crap that they do on motorcycles.

    • John,
I totally agree. I only wear my NRA cap when I’m in a gun store etc. Never around the streets when I go to town. If someone has their eye on you, and they are casing you for a robbery, if they think you probably are packing heat, they will make allowances for that.
Hey, I’ve got an Idea! For an extra charge, maybe the gun companies that advertise on their wear, could also have a big arrow sewed on the shirt or jacket pointing to the spot on your body where the piece is! And in bold letters, by the arrow it would say “IT”S HERE”

    • Yeah, I agree, I never wear a branded shirt or hat; why give free advertisement? I’d be willing if they paid me.
You can’t even tell what brand 1911 I carry OC; just the butt of the gun is showing.

  4. If Blackhawk insists on being known as BLACKHAWK and SIG Sauer insists on being known as SIG SAUER, then from now on refer to me as RALPH.

P.S. It’s okay for SIG to be all caps since its the abbreviation for Schweizerische Industriegesellschaft

    Regards,

    RALPH

    • I sorta kinda named my Beretta Nano after you, in frustration with what an unreliable piece of junk it is. Because it does ralph a lot.

Though I doubt seriously your last name is “Malf”, which it does a lot of too.

    • I kinda like the all caps trend in product names, it helps the public school dropouts learn the grammer they were too negligent to learn.

Glock. Now who can tell me where the capital letter goes?

      Everywhere!

      GLOCK, ALL CAPS FTW!!!

GLOCK, the simplest firearm ever conceived. Even the spelling is easy.

  5. Holsters sound interesting I love that my SiG Tac pro holster for the P220 also fits my Sig 226 and sig p250 c

  6. Aw hell, I’ll advertise. I’ve got GLOCK bags and hats, a Smith hat, Ruger bags, some La Rue swag etc. I’ll wear my TTAG shirt to work (although I have to change into a suit or uniform for work). No Taurus or Hi-point stuff, though. I like gun manufacturers and gun advocates such as the NRA, SAF, and of course, TTAG. If I can sport NRA stuff and somehow mange to not murder children or the guy who cuts me off in the parking lot, then I can be a positive advocate for the 2A that other people can witness in their lives.

It’s kinda like responsible and friendly OC – hard to paint all gun owners as evil crazies when that clearly isn’t the case. There’s no point in being totally low-profile and sneaky since everyone who knows me knows that I love responsible gun use and ownership. I also have a thing for freedom. So be it.

  7. Sig! It’s about time you added some swag!! I’m surprise it took so long, large mark up and free publicity for you and seriously you have to fire your marketing manager and hire me because as glad as I am you finally have swag the women choices are disappointing… I am not a fan of very obvious logos or saying ” protected by Sig” type of thing but really do like subtle ones – the man t shirt with the bird that’s cool, if you had that in the back of the v neck burnout, that would be an instant buy- As much as I happily tell all my girlfriends about my p238 SAS I should get a free shirt! 😀 xxx
