The Dual 10/22 Gatling Gun Is Back!

Tactical Innovations has brought back the dual 10/22 ‘Gatling Gun’ that used to sell through the Cabela’s catalog. It’s completely impractical, but back in the days of inexpensive and plentiful .22 ammo it was about the cheapest fun you could have with your clothes on . . .

Wholesale for the all in-house machined kit is $345, not including the pair of ancient beater 10/.22s that you bolt into it.

I got my hands on an old Cabelas version a few years ago, and ballistic hilarity ensued. Yes these things are silly. But they’re a lot of fun, for a little while.

    I always wanted one!

Dang it you guys. I’ve mentally spent 2 years gun budget in 3 days.

    1. avatar Brian in WI says:

Only two years? you must have a much larger gun budget than me…

  2. avatar Guy says:

It needs a chainsaw grip so you can run around with it and fire from the hip, like a mini Minigun.

  3. avatar Noishkel says:

I have an idea. How about someone design some sort of tray feeding system? Like the Russian DP MG or the American 180.

  4. avatar Matt in FL says:

There’s been one of these sitting on one of the tables at the Orlando Gun Show for as long as I’ve been going to it. I think they’re asking near double the price listed above, if not more.

  5. avatar Jeff the Griz says:

Rememeber it requires an additional 2 rifles to put together.

One gun ejects down, the other ejects up. That’s fairly annoying. If only there was such a thing as a left-handed 10/22. Seems like Ruger is missing out on an easy way to make more money with that one.

    1. avatar Diesel Dan says:

^This. Then again, Ruger has always relied on their singular view on things and NOT their customers…or would-be customers.

  7. avatar Ken Hagler says:

That actually looks more like a Nordenfelt gun than a Gatling.

  8. avatar jwm says:

Fun. That’s what we need on a regular basis. I saw a kit that made a 10-22 look like an mg-42. I still regret not getting it. Just for the fun factor.

  9. avatar C says:

    because fuck squirrels.

      +2,000,000 [email protected]#$ing squirrels

  10. avatar Tominator says:

There was a version that did his to 2 AKs available in the late 80’s. Of course pre ban AKs were $350 then….always wanted one…er er two!
