Do you have a chunk of change that’s just been burning the proverbial hole in your pocket? Have you got the kind of cash that allows you to drop as much as four digits on a pocket knife? Well more power to you. There’s no shortage of purveyors out there who’ll be only too happy to make your acquaintance. And one of them is Gaston J. Glock style. They’ve just announced four new knives featuring Damascus steel just in time for this weekend’s Blade Show. Oh, and about that G3, above . . . it’s made from the recycled barrels of HK G3 rifles. No really. We can’t wait to see if RF can manage to come home without one . . .

  1. Seems kinda like a betrayal of the cause to buy a knife that used to be a gun. What next, peace bricks?

    • Not sure if everyone is already aware of this, Gaston J. Glock is the son of Gaston Glock. He is a former share holder and employee of Glock but now runs his shooting/outdoor clothing company, which is who this knife is from, not Glock firearms. Unlike Glock handguns, Gaston’s stuff is rather pricey and made in Germany rather than Austria.

  2. It’s most certainly a beautiful knife but I’m poor and rarely buy a knife or gun I can’t beat the shit out of. The only knife I haven’t beat the piss out of (because I like it so much) is an old Benchmade Nimravus with G-10 stocks and M-2 steel. M-2 takes a wicked, wicked edge on an Edge-Pro.

Chalk me up for my 4″ Spyderco Endura. Mine’s survived eight abusive years and VG-10 is the sweetest and most balanced alloy second only to S30-V.
