New from Sisk: Fully Adjustable Milled Aluminum Chassis for Common Bolt Action Rifles

While it may be a little heavy, there’s no doubt that Sisk’s new all-aluminum chassis is sexy as all hell. Not only is it precision machined and guaranteed to free float your barrel like nobody’s business, the thing is completely and fully adjustable. Everything from the cant of the grip to the height of the cheek piece can be adjusted to suit the shooter, which officially makes this my new favorite chassis. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE . . .

The stocks will be shipped already fitted to the more common bolt action platforms on the market — Savage, Remington, etc. — but they’re also doing their own custom rifles.

The company that makes these things is just the other side of Houston. And since the owner of the comany offered to come pick me up in San Anton’ in his private plane to see their place, I get the feeling that we’ll be hearing a lot more about them in the future.

    Pretty cool.

How about a black one for the Mossberg MVP in black? Make it modular as well. DiFi would have a heart attack.

please be in left bolt…please be in left bolt…please be in left bolt….please be in left bolt

I second that. Us lefties need love too.

    What, no titanium version? Feh.

  5. avatar Nickbnumbers says:

Looks neat, but I don’t want to be touching aluminum after some time in the hot sun or freezing cold.

And don’t even think about licking it in the winter.

      I tripple dog dare you!

For some reason I really want to put one of those on a mosin nagant.

As if it weren’t already effective as a war club…

    1. avatar bontai Joe says:

I second that notion! My Mosin stock is barely suitable as firewood. My first shot is at point of aim, the second is close, but if I fire a third before the barrel cools off, it’ll be off the paper. I guess I can’t complain too much since the rifle only cost me about $40 some years back.

  7. avatar Totenglocke says:

If they’re making it for common bolt action rifles, does that mean that there will be one for the Mosin Nagant 91/30?
