Magic Bullet Laser Round: What Could Possibly Go Wrong? by Robert Farago | Nov 04, 2010 | 3 comments facebook twitter linkedin email If nothing else, I don’t want to train myself to rack the slide before every shot . . . comments NCGlockin says: November 4, 2010 at 21:54 LaserLyte has a whole system that is relatively inexpensive. I think you still have the same issue with racking the slde. On the other hand, I know you can get kits that will allow you to dry fire and will reset the trigger for you, giving you the best of both worlds – laser practice and no slide racking. Reply david says: November 5, 2010 at 23:40 seems like it would might be useful as a smithing tool though Reply SamG says: November 11, 2010 at 14:47 I don't think I'd want something that chambers a "cartridge" and then prevents the extractor from doing its job every time I rack the slide. Sounds like a recipe for premature wear. Reply Ron says: December 27, 2011 at 21:16 From what I seen of this device as he put it in. It did not have a ridge on the casing so the extractor would not be pulling on anything. so the extractor just moves back with the slide unimpeded.
