Steyr Arms To Sell MA-1 and SA-1. Again. Still.

As of August, Steyr Arms International (SAI) will once again import their former sales winning Steyr MA-1 and SA-1 pistols into The Land of the Free. The company claims they stopped bringing in the weapons when the exchange rate ate their profit margin like Ms. Pac-Man devouring a ghost. Or something like that. “Internationally, the pistols sell for 610 Euro or over $800 at a 1.4 exchange rate. However, SAI felt the price point needed to be much lower to truly compete in the US market.” Now that the exchange rate has swung in Steyr’s favor and they’ve negotiated “a bulk buying agreement” (cash up front guys), Steyr-lovers can buy both weapons in 9mm version or .40 S&W of the MA-1 or SA-1 for $649 msrp.
