But even if you’ve not heard of Delbert, I’ll bet you a box of 12 gauge shells, you’ve heard his music. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill covered Shotgun Rider recently. He also wrote the classic “Back to Louisiana” (which mentions the city of my birth, Shreveport), and “Standin’ on Shaky Ground.” See? You’ve heard his music.
