  1. avatar Omer says:

A crime can happen anywhere, Allen was herself kidnapped from her car and held against her will and ransomed. The crime perpetrated against her was by the largest criminal organization around.

    1. avatar Gov. William J Le Petomane says:

The Jersey gang may be a criminal organization, but it’s not nearly as large as the Federalies.

    2. avatar Uh-hu says:

“The crime perpetrated against her was by the largest criminal organization around”.
      ……………The Puke Jerksey po-lice?

    3. avatar Omer says:

I meant the State in general.

  2. avatar Geoff PR says:

There’s another thing we can add to the national reciprocity bill, real gun safety that will save young lives.

For the very young kids in school, mandatory instruction, twice a year, of:

“Stop! Don’t touch it! Run away! Tell a responsible adult!”

The beauty of this is, what lame excuse will they make when they vote no on it, they want kids to die?

It’s time to get creative. Time is running out. We *must* get this done before the mid-term election 10 months from now…

    1. avatar Omer says:

The children may have a hard time finding a responsible adult.

      1. avatar Geoff PR says:

“The children may have a hard time finding a responsible adult.”

        *Details*.

The *point* is, we must back them into a corner, force them to explain why they want small kids dead.

There is zero downside for us on this.

This is standard politics, folks. They have done this to us time and time again in the past, let’s return the favor…

      2. avatar H says:

        In the suburbs yes!!
Inner cities 97% are responsible. Those 3% are the violent opportunists. That 97% + don’t want to see kids dead. Whether or not you particularly like or dislike inner city residents they aren’t callous about kids being harmed.

The disease is being sheeple. Not thinking for ourselves. Believing the lies. Believing that fakes news is fake and real news is real doesn’t matter. The controllers win because they have distracted us.

  3. avatar FedUp says:

Yes. Put a human face to the existing problem when promoting a legislative solution to the problem. Talk to those who mistake their emotions for thought in a language they can understand:

What’s your problem with reciprocity? You think black nurses don’t have any right to protect their own children, you racist POS?

    1. avatar BLoving says:

Why, yes actually. That is precisely how gun bigots think: Miss Allen was not white enough, famous enough, rich enough, well-connected enough… in short, she was simply not IMPORTANT enough to have the right to defend herself and her children. She should just dial 911 and wait like all the other riff raff. That is how it works in a may-issue state.
      🤠

  4. avatar former water walker says:

Oh I think we need to exploint the he!! out of the racial angle. Once you embrace the pro-gun life you’re less likely to vote dumbocrat…I hope.

    1. avatar barnbwt says:

The poor are way more likely to need protection, so the impact will be strongest.

  5. avatar Salvatore says:

The left portrays themselves as the saviors to all minorities, yet a disgraceful violation of civil rights like this happens and where are all the usual race baiting loud mouths? Denial of civil rights is OK as long as it is not the rights that the left is concerned about. Perpetual hypocrites.

  6. avatar Stereodude says:

The “best” part is that despite pardoning her and a few others for similar “crimes”, Chris Christie is opposed to national concealed carry reciprocity. I must be missing something here…

    From the article:
“Even Christie, a Republican who has pardoned a number of out-of-state residents caught up in New Jersey’s strict gun laws, is against the change. Christie said it’s a state’s rights issue that the federal government should stay out of.”

So people instead should rely on a gun friendly governor to issue pardons to the peasants/plebes? We all know slave states tend to have them frequently. Oh wait…

  7. avatar Bob says:

    Dear Jersey,

    I AM NOT A CRIMINAL!

    P.S.
Your state smells like pee and garbage, might wanna check into that.

    1. avatar Geoff PR says:

      That’s been debunked, Nix.

It’s been nixed, so to speak…

  8. avatar Seizure doc says:

She is the poster child for national reciprocity. If she were my wife and went through what just happened Gov. Christy would have need of his security detail. My wife is black and has two small boys and legally carries here in The great state of Texas. She better not face felony charges for driving across a state border. A warning about the differing state laws should have been enough but not when you are dealing with the largest criminal organization in the world. If Shaneen Allen had been an upper class white woman driving a Mercedes might it have gone differently ?

  9. avatar DDay says:

Shaneen Allen is a great woman. A class act and someone we want on our side.

  10. avatar JasonM says:

But she’s a young black woman from a big city. Only old white guys from the country own guns. The mainstream media will have no way to process this.

  11. avatar Ton E says:

Allen is the poster child of “know before you go”. That poor woman shouldn’t have been arrested in the first place. The cop who ran her in was a douche.

  12. avatar Chris T from KY says:

She deserves to be the face for national reciprocity and that is why the white media will largely ignore her. They would be forced to ask questions about the racist roots of gun control and who was the group always supporting more gun control laws over the last 170 years.
P.S. That group is not republican.

    1. avatar Shallnot BeInfringed says:

      “the white media”??? Really?

      (SMH) Wow. Just wow…

  13. avatar GS650G says:

She should write a book about the experience.

  14. avatar Jim Bullock says:

In the end, gun control folks don’t think much of Shaneen Allen, or anyone like her. I happen to think rather more of her.

    – They think she’s too stupid, clumsy, and reactive to wield the power of a gun — I think she’s just fine.

    – They think she’s not worth protecting — I think she’s everything worth protecting.

    – They think her doing without their oversight or approval is just wrong — I think they should butt out.

    – They think she is not up to deciding for herself — I think she’s smarter than they are about what fits for her.

    – They are offended that she would decide and act for herself — I think that’s simply being human.

Indeed, I think that I have no right to place her whole life subject to the whim of some random thug because she was not armed, or some cop, prosecutor or governor because she was. Unlike the anti-gun folks I’ll speak for myself, not a group, or all of humanity. Even so, “Gun rights” people in generally agree with what I’ve said.

When we say people should have the right to protect themselves, when we rail at encumbering people who have done nothing wrong, when we snark that the draconian booby-traps and arbitrary authorities seeded through gun control laws are not unfortunate accidents, but the point, we’re thinking about Shaneen Allen.

As she was entrapped in the byzantine realities of US gun regulation, gunny folks asked where and how they could lobby, where to kick in funds, what to do about the stupid law. Gunny folks stood up for Shaneen Allen in the jaws of the system the anti-gunners kept feeding.

To us, she’s worth protecting. To them, she’s just collateral damage. That’s the whole difference.
