One Week Until the TTAG December Get-Together…Win Guns!

Rock Island M1911 A2 FS Match

As if meeting some of your favorite writers, fellow readers and checking out The Range at Austin’s swank Patriot Club weren’t incentive enough, all who attend next week’s TTAG get-together will have a chance to go home with a free handgun. You read that right, you could drive home with a new pistol, gratis. One of three, in fact.

The event will take place on Monday, December 18 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and all you have to do is be there. One lucky attendee will snag a .45 ACP Rock Island Armory M1911 A2 FS Tactical handgun (above).

The winner of our little shooting contest will win a Rock Island Armory Pro Match Ultra 6″ HC 2011 chambered in 10mm.

Last, but certainly not least, one lucky son (or daughter) of a gun will go home with Springfield Armory’s hammer-fired XD-E 9mm pistol.

We don’t have many fans in Geneseo these days, so when it came time to review the pistol Springfield introduced at the NRA annual meeting earlier this year (you can read Jeremy’s assessment here), we had to go out and buy our own sample.

And since it’s been taking up space in TTAG’s cavernous gun vault ever since, we decided the right thing to do would be to let one of our readers use it to exercise their right to keep and bear arms.

So there you have it. Three gorgeous gats and one of them could be yours. And everyone who attends will take at least something from our bottomless trove of gun swag. All you have to do is be in Austin next Monday, from 7 to 9pm.

Please RSVP so we know how many to expect. Send an email to thetruthaboutguns@gmail.com with COUNT ME IN in the subject field and let us know if you’ll be bringing anyone with you.

Thanks for reading, and we hope to see you next week. If you can’t make it, be sure to tune into our Facebook page for a live look at the TTAG Get Together — and a chance to win swag!

Not to be a jerk but both are made in third world countries by the finest of peasant labor, but at least they aren’t Hi-points!

You can come here permanently. Just walk across our poorly secured border. We will give you food, health care, and a home.

not interested in doing it illegally. i would rather do it the right way. i am a patriot whether here in australia or there in the US it would not matter. i stand by doing the right thing and the honorable thing

Those weapons are made in other countries, by fine dedicated employees. Most particularly the Rock Island bunch, those folks showed up to make sure the factory was OK after a flood when they didn’t have to. They do a great job of putting reliable, consistent firing guns in our hands.
