Everyday Carry Pocket Dump of the Day – Nikko Bassett

This is what Nikko packs when he wants to keep things light. And he says carrying the Opinel makes him “feel a bit more classy.” Who’d argue with that? See everything he’s carrying at Everyday Carry . . .

A butter knife. I like how you roll, Nikko.

Sheez, is that a Costner Robin Hood quote? Talk about the wayback machine.

The giant one would be cooler. If you don’t have time to unfold it you can use it as a nightstick.

    3. avatar Chadwick says:

I do love my no.9. Sharp as hell!

      1. avatar ActionPhysicalMan says:

Of course, the dreaded .9 would be sharp!

  2. avatar Mike Oregon says:

Nikko should consider adding a decent light, maybe a backup mag.

  3. avatar ActionPhysicalMan says:

I often don’t carry a light when I think there is very little chance I’ll be out after dark. I ain’t never gonna clear dark rooms. Not sure a notebook with no pen is a good combination though. Maybe it is a read-only device away from home.

    1. avatar Chadwick says:

It can be surprising how dark even grocery store can be if the power goes out

      1. avatar ActionPhysicalMan says:

I run out with whirling arms if the lights go out. The whirling arms might confuse the virals just long enough…. Maybe the Streamlight should come along more often.

  4. avatar LHW says:

Oh no, it’s loaded with deadly cop killer automatic bullets in its high capacity assault clipazine.

  5. avatar AMP says:

    Mexican carry?

  6. avatar TruthTellers says:

    Why an Opinel?

    1. avatar Tim says:

Clearly you’ve never been attacked by a stick of unsalted butter.

  7. avatar adverse4 says:

I carry a mini-mag in it’s case on my belt at all times. Have had people ask why I carried a flashlight during the day? Tell them, there are dark corners even in the daylight.

  8. avatar What About Bob says:

A flashlight is the most useful thing I carry. Even when I can’t CCW, having a four sevens mini 123 in my pocket is guaranteed. Bright as hell, tough, they are the best 30 bucks you can spend.

The lithium batteries are reasonable and last a long time too.
