Everyday Carry Pocket Dump of the Day – Taylor J Smith

There’s a lot you can say for minimalism. And no, that’s not a contradiction. Taylor keeps things simple with a highly concealable GLOCK 42…and not much else. See all the details at Everyday Carry . . .

I’ve seen a few of these trigger covering micro “holsters” but always surprises me that none integrate a magazine holder. Looking at the space below the trigger guard and using my years of Tetris experience it looks like a magazine would fit smartly there.

It doesn’t make any sense on this holster, which is designed to come off the body/out of the pocket and hang loose by the cord after drawing. Your mag would be dangling.

For an IWB minimalist holster, what you describe would mean crossdrawing the magazine, which means it would have to be concealed in an appendix position to be sufficiently reachable by the off hand.

Is that skateboard grip tape or actually part of the grip/frame?
