Everyday Carry Pocket Dump of the Day – Karen Knowlton

Karen, a “crafter”, keeps her gear simple. While our friends at Everyday Carry list the pictured gun as a Smith & Wesson AC1016, we know a Walther when we see one (a PPS if we’re not mistaken). Especially with that European trigger guard mag release. Anyway, check out everything she carries at Everyday Carry . . .

    Smith & Wesson AC1016?

Perhaps someone misidentified it by grip texture, which bears some resemblance to the SW99’s.

    1. avatar TravisP says:

Its a PPS for sure, I haw both the PPS and SW99 and the SW99 is a little less brickish

      1. avatar Rokurota says:

Yeah, there’s no doubt it’s a PPS MK I. My shootin’ buddy has one. I like it a lot.

    2. avatar PRK543 says:

Smith and Wesson was the importer for Walther when the PPS was first introduced (until I think Walther USA took over in 2013). The PPS is likely engraved by S&W on the right. It is possible someone on the website saw the importer markings, or the owner is mistaken due to the prominent importer marking.

At a quick glance I thought xds, but a little more attention and knew right away.

    just one bullet?

    1. avatar Cloudbuster says:

Kept in her shirt pocket. It was good enough for Barney Fife

Shot placement. Repeat after me. Shot placement.

She has no house keys, but at least her lips aren’t chapped.

    1. avatar Curtis in IL says:

Not everyone carries their keys in their pocket. Some people leave them in the vehicle ignition switch where they belong.

Also, if you have an attached garage and a garage door opener, you don’t have much use for house keys.

The Lamy pen is nice. +3 for it being a fountain.

    1. avatar An English Person says:

Definitely makes a change from the tactical kubotan type pens we often see, but I personally prefer a pressurised ballpoint for practicality in my stationary edc.

Nice to see a lady’s carry dump.

But I bet she carries it “like a girl”.

Just kidding. Rock that Walther while you scrapbook!

  7. avatar Ed says:

My edc is a PPS M1 in .40 s&w. Sweet shooting easy carrying pistol…and us lefties love the mag release.

Wild Cherry Lip Balm, give this woman wide berth, no quarter for dry lips.
