Suspect in UK MP Murder Ordered Book on Improvised Weapons

Jo Cox MP Attacker Order for Improvised weapon book

It is uncertain if the alleged attacker of MP Jo Cox, Thomas Mair, shouted “Britain First” as the MP was attacked and murdered.  The witness to the alleged shout appears to have recanted.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a left wing hate group aligned with the Obama administration, has published a document showing that Thomas Mair had ordered an improvised weapons book from another left wing hate group, the National Alliance (NA). (In the 1930’s the NAZIs were a mainstream leftist organization.)

The competing leftist groups both supported much greater control of the economy by the government and severe restrictions on gun ownership. The NA did not want the restrictions on gun ownership put in place until they were in power. The SPLC is already aligned with the existing power structure. From splcenter.org:

According to records obtained by the Southern Poverty Law Center Mair was a dedicated supporter of the National Alliance (NA), the once premier neo-Nazi organization in the United States, for decades. Mair purchased a manual from the NA in 1999 that included instructions on how to build a pistol.

Two things are revealed by the document and the SPLC’s access to it.

First, it shows the futility of attempting to remove guns from society.  In spite if draconian legal controls on guns and ammunition, it is likely that the suspect was able to fabricate his own. From the telegraph.co.uk:

Police arrested a 52-year-old former psychiatric patient named locally as Tommy Mair. According to witnesses, Mrs Cox’s killer used either an antique or a home-made gun which he calmly reloaded between shots. As she lay bleeding to death, he repeatedly kicked her before walking away, having stabbed a 77-year-old man who tried to intervene.

Initial reports indicated that there were two shots, followed by one more. It is easier to make a single shot or double barrel gun than a multi-shot; which is why the “calmly reloaded” part is interesting.

MP Jo Cox is the first MP to be shot and killed in over 200 years.  The previous owner of that dubious honor was Prime Minister, Spencer Percival, who was shot and killed with a muzzleloading pistol in 1815.

Second is the question of where the SPLC obtained the document. It is unlikely that the National Alliance would hand over a copy of this document to their bitter rival, especially as the NA ceased operations in 2013.

Who keeps 17 year old records of commercial transactions from a defunct group?

The NA supported extreme political views.  I have little doubt that the CIA or the FBI, or the NSA, or perhaps some other governmental entity has been keeping copies of all correspondence produced by the NA.  This would include any overseas correspondence.

The SPLC has been a close advisor to the Obama administration.  It has become a common practice to leak such documents for political advantage.  The Obama administration is on record as vehemently opposing the separation of the UK from the European Union. Opponents of the separation referendum (Brexit) have attempted to use the murder of the MP to oppose the separation. The vote is scheduled to take place next Thursday, June 23rd.

Members of the public have expressed fear that orders of literature on improvised munitions, or any literature that might be disapproved of by the government, could result in them being “put on a list”.  This document validates the concept that such records are kept.

I always assumed that overseas correspondence is copied; that overseas telephone calls are recorded, and that records are kept.  When I lived in Panama, it was prudent to make that assumption.

The ability to collect and store such documentation has increased by several orders of magnitude in the digital age.

I do not allow such knowledge to prevent me from acting.  It is another datum to take into consideration.  I do not say anything over the phone that I would not wish recorded; I do not send anything over the Internet that I would not expect to be published the next day.

The records did not prevent the murder of the British MP.   Far more damning records were kept on the Orlando mass killer.  Nothing was done.

Instructions on how to make improvised weapons are more available over the Internet today than through the mail seventeen years ago.

Tell that to a Progressive today and they will angrily say that it’s a lie and that the Nazis were a rightwing hate group…

National Socialists was the name of the party, NAZI was an acronym for the name.

      1. avatar Mark N. says:

Despite the name, socialism was not a part of their party platform, which was essentially a populist, nationalist, “pure German” party.
The 25 Points of Hitler’s Plan:
        1. We demand the union of all Germans in a Great Germany on the basis of the principle of self-determination of all peoples.

        2. We demand that the German people have rights equal to those of other nations; and that the Peace Treaties of Versailles and St. Germain shall be abrogated.

        3. We demand land and territory (colonies) for the maintenance of our people and the settlement of our surplus population.

        4. Only those who are our fellow countrymen can become citizens. Only those who have German blood, regardless of creed, can be our countrymen. Hence no Jew can be a countryman.

        5. Those who are not citizens must live in Germany as foreigners and must be subject to the law of aliens.

        6. The right to choose the government and determine the laws of the State shall belong only to citizens. We therefore demand that no public office, of whatever nature, whether in the central government, the province, or the municipality, shall be held by anyone who is not a citizen.

We wage war against the corrupt parliamentary administration whereby men are appointed to posts by favor of the party without regard to character and fitness.

        7. We demand that the State shall above all undertake to ensure that every citizen shall have the possibility of living decently and earning a livelihood. If it should not be possible to feed the whole population, then aliens (non-citizens) must be expelled from the Reich.

        8. Any further immigration of non-Germans must be prevented. We demand that all non-Germans who have entered Germany since August 2, 1914, shall be compelled to leave the Reich immediately.

        9. All citizens must possess equal rights and duties.

        10. The first duty of every citizen must be to work mentally or physically. No individual shall do any work that offends against the interest of the community to the benefit of all.

        Therefore we demand:

        11. That all unearned income, and all income that does not arise from work, be abolished.

        12. Since every war imposes on the people fearful sacrifices in blood and treasure, all personal profit arising from the war must be regarded as treason to the people. We therefore demand the total confiscation of all war profits.

        13. We demand the nationalization of all trusts.

        14. We demand profit-sharing in large industries.

        15. We demand a generous increase in old-age pensions.

        16. We demand the creation and maintenance of a sound middle-class, the immediate communalization of large stores which will be rented cheaply to small tradespeople, and the strongest consideration must be given to ensure that small traders shall deliver the supplies needed by the State, the provinces and municipalities.

        17. We demand an agrarian reform in accordance with our national requirements, and the enactment of a law to expropriate the owners without compensation of any land needed for the common purpose. The abolition of ground rents, and the prohibition of all speculation in land.

        18. We demand that ruthless war be waged against those who work to the injury of the common welfare. Traitors, usurers, profiteers, etc., are to be punished with death, regardless of creed or race.

        19. We demand that Roman law, which serves a materialist ordering of the world, be replaced by German common law.

        20. In order to make it possible for every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education, and thus the opportunity to reach into positions of leadership, the State must assume the responsibility of organizing thoroughly the entire cultural system of the people. The curricula of all educational establishments shall be adapted to practical life. The conception of the State Idea (science of citizenship) must be taught in the schools from the very beginning. We demand that specially talented children of poor parents, whatever their station or occupation, be educated at the expense of the State.

        21. The State has the duty to help raise the standard of national health by providing maternity welfare centers, by prohibiting juvenile labor, by increasing physical fitness through the introduction of compulsory games and gymnastics, and by the greatest possible encouragement of associations concerned with the physical education of the young.

        22. We demand the abolition of the regular army and the creation of a national (folk) army.

        23. We demand that there be a legal campaign against those who propagate deliberate political lies and disseminate them through the press. In order to make possible the creation of a German press, we demand:

        (a) All editors and their assistants on newspapers published in the German language shall be German citizens.

        (b) Non-German newspapers shall only be published with the express permission of the State. They must not be published in the German language.

        (c) All financial interests in or in any way affecting German newspapers shall be forbidden to non-Germans by law, and we demand that the punishment for transgressing this law be the immediate suppression of the newspaper and the expulsion of the non-Germans from the Reich.

Newspapers transgressing against the common welfare shall be suppressed. We demand legal action against those tendencies in art and literature that have a disruptive influence upon the life of our folk, and that any organizations that offend against the foregoing demands shall be dissolved.

        24. We demand freedom for all religious faiths in the state, insofar as they do not endanger its existence or offend the moral and ethical sense of the Germanic race.

The party as such represents the point of view of a positive Christianity without binding itself to any one particular confession. It fights against the Jewish materialist spirit within and without, and is convinced that a lasting recovery of our folk can only come about from within on the pinciple:

        COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD

        25. In order to carry out this program we demand: the creation of a strong central authority in the State, the unconditional authority by the political central parliament of the whole State and all its organizations.

The formation of professional committees and of committees representing the several estates of the realm, to ensure that the laws promulgated by the central authority shall be carried out by the federal states.

The leaders of the party undertake to promote the execution of the foregoing points at all costs, if necessary at the sacrifice of their own lives.

        1. Lots of socialist points in that platform, such as 7,9,11,13,14,15,16,17,20,21,23. Lots of overlap with the USSR. Also many that are “Nationalist”. Hence National Socialism vs. International Socialism, which became the dominant form of socialism after WWII.

What Dean said, but I don’t know why he skipped 12 and 18. And I don’t know what “German Common Law” means, but abolishing materialist law sure sounds like Socialism/Communism to me.

        3. avatar Frank in VA says:

I’m gonna be lazy and post a part of the wikipedia article on Nazism:

“The radical Nazi Joseph Goebbels hated capitalism, viewing it as having Jews at its core, and he stressed the need for the party to emphasize both a proletarian and national character. Those views were shared by Otto Strasser, who later left the Nazi Party in the belief that Hitler had betrayed the party’s socialist goals by allegedly endorsing capitalism. Large segments of the Nazi Party staunchly supported its official socialist, revolutionary, and anti-capitalist positions and expected both a social and economic revolution upon the party’s gaining power in 1933. Many of the million members of the Sturmabteilung (SA) were committed to the party’s official socialist program. The leader of the SA, Ernst Röhm, pushed for a “second revolution” (the “first revolution” being the Nazis’ seizure of power) that would entrench the party’s official socialist program. Further, Röhm desired that the SA absorb the much smaller German Army into its ranks under his leadership.”

        4. avatar Bob321 says:

Albert Spier wrote about it after the war
Hitler deviated from the party socialist platform for some industries in order to convince politically powerful business leaders to support his bid for more power. A number of Nazi political party leaders were not happy with Hitler about that. This myth that Nazi’s were somehow capitalists is propaganda cooked up by the Progressives and Communists from way back.

    2. avatar Anonymous says:

      Yep.

“Nazi political strategy focused on anti-big business, anti-bourgeois, and anti-capitalist …”

      And

“…broad social welfare programs, and a collective subordination of individual rights, …”

      And

“The term “Nazi”, commonly used in English, derives from the first and the fifth syllables of NAtionalsoZIalistische. It was derived in accordance with the German term Sozi (pronounced /zoːtsi/), an abbreviation of Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands (Social Democratic Party of Germany).”

      And

“On 5 January 1919, Drexler created a new political party and proposed it be named the “German Socialist Worker’s Party”, but Harrer objected to the term “socialist”; the issue was settled by removing the term and the party was named the German Workers’ Party (Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, DAP).[28] To ease concerns among potential middle-class supporters, Drexler made clear that unlike Marxists, the party supported the middle-class, and that the party’s socialist policy was meant to give social welfare to German citizens deemed part of the Aryan race.”

They were all about profit Sharing, social welfare programs, etc.

The way they looked at the “Jewish problem” is the way modern democrats look at the “gun owner problem.”

  5. avatar Dave says:

Gunpowder is super easy to make. All you need are potassium nitrate, sodium nitrate, or similar nitrate (the OK City bomber used fertilizer) and either sugar (for white powder, which is extremely dirty and tough to clean) or charcoal (for black powder).

Traditional black powder used sulfur, to make powder ignite more readily, but it is not usually necessary today with modern primers. Pyrodex and Triple 7 are both sulfur-free black powder substitutes.

If the retards in the left ban gunmaking books, you can find all the info you need in a chemistry textbook.

    1. avatar barnbwt says:

Chemical explosive families have become highly restricted over the years (fulminates, etc). Nitrates have been increasingly regulated through a series of historical industrial disasters and terrorist attacks. Were black powder to catch the eyes of banners in England, medicinal saltpeter will take the fall. Nitrates have always been the linchpin ingredient to gunpowder, and there is a long history of its restriction to commoners (varying levels of success)

      1. avatar JR_in_NC says:

All can be made with the right know-how.

      2. avatar Cucamonga Jeff says:

There are other explosives that contain no Nitrates and are almost as powerful. Peroxyacetone is the fist one that comes to mind. It can be made in large quantities with chemicals commonly found at a hardware or drugstore and it not easily traced by bomb sniffing dogs or other bomb tracing methods because they rely heavily on finding black powder residue.

    2. avatar Specialist38 says:

Black powder is simple to make. Not easy.

Once the mixture is made, it has to be ground to the proper granulation size. (i.e. Fg, FFg, FFFg, and FFFFg)

The more “Fs”, the finer the powder and the faster it ignites.

Powder mills blowing up was a common problem since it is an explosive and can ignite under simple pressure from grinding or squeezing.

      1. It is harder to make good, granulated gunpowder. But it will work as a simple mixture without the granulation, just not as well.

    3. avatar Cliff H says:

Gun powders of various sorts are probably no more difficult to make than methamphetamines and we all know how common those are. Quetion, though – how do you make the primers to ignite them? (The powders, not the meth.)

      1. Primers are much easier to make than I thought. They are actually simpler than gunpowder, because you need so little of them. One gram is enough for 30-50 primers. I am working on an article. There are instructions on the net. Hundreds are making them at home in the United States, quite a few more are making percussion caps. It is not nearly as dangerous as I used to think.

        1. avatar barnbwt says:

That ‘one gram’ is also enough to blow your lab all to hell. Same goes for nitrating processes that make significant volumes of gun propellant (isn’t it a similar exothermic nitrating process that causes methlabs to go thermonuclear?)

      2. avatar Bob321 says:

        Match heads and acetone.

    4. avatar uncommon_sense says:

“Pyrodex and Triple 7 are both sulfur-free black powder substitutes.”

Wrong. I shoot Pyrodex out of my muzzleloader and it most definitely has sulfur in it. The, shall we call it “aroma”, is unmistakable.

And, not only is the aroma unmistakable, the residue rapidly corrodes all metals — including brass — which confirms the presence of sulfur. (Moisture in the air combines with the sulfur residue to create sulfuric acid which is quite potent and readily eats into metal.)

I am not sure about Triple 7. I hear that it shoots cleaner than Pyrodex. Perhaps it has less sulfur content?

  6. avatar CLarson says:

How do we know this is real? Seems a bit Dan Ratherish.

    1. If it is fake, the SPLC or their source did a much better job with the 1999 typefaces.

Still, it could be. I suspect confirmation will be found at the shooters residence. Then again, the stakes are very high. I suspect that billions are involved, maybe trillions. With that kind of money and international policy at stake, you can buy some very talented forgers…

I don’t particularly have any dog in the Brexit hunt except I think they should leave the EU simply because I favor independence as a rule. But that observation about the SPLC and the Nazis is interesting.

I’ve studied history and 20th century European history in particular, and have a minor in it. Its worth bearing in mind that the concept of “left” and “right” is reversed in the European context. At any rate, the Democratic Party is itself composed of two factions that remarkably resemble Nazi Germany/National Socialism on one side (Clinton) and the Communist Party on the other side (Sanders). They are almost diametrically opposed. Yet – what’s that someone said the other day? they will assimilate like the Borg.

    Tom

    1. avatar barnbwt says:

‘Diametrically opposed?’ Fascists LOVE communists, because they are the same thing. The only reason Germany and Russia stopped being best buds, is because Hitler ran out of territory on the Western flank to conquer, and Russia was the only remaining next door neighbor. Oh, and he thought Stalin was a pushover (oops)

    2. avatar anonymoose says:

They won’t assimilate as well as Hitllary thinks. There are going to be a heck of a lot of write-ins and third party votes (Democrats will probably try to remove write-ins from the ballot in the next cycle if they don’t utterly collapse after Trump wins November).

Because the first choice requires much more time and knowledge to carry out, which in their minds is a much better deterrent than the seemingly open doors of the latter option. Nevermind the flubs of all the background checks and FBI scrutiny the Orlando shooter skated by…

Fact of the matter is: being armed remains the most effective and efficient method for people to protect themselves in a timely manner. The government has yet to provide me with a suitable alternative that warrants me surrendering my firearms, capacity, or whatever other arbitrary aesthetic-altering law they pass. A 3-hr police response time? For a single shooter? No thank you. I know my own training level and competence, and that will serve me much better if I ever find myself accosted. 15. avatar uncommon_sense says:

If a magic spell could eliminate all firearms (and knowledge/resources to replace them), it would remain exceedingly easy for an assassin to kill their target.

Anyone can fashion a really nasty sword out of metal stock available at just about every hardware and home improvement store in any developed nation … assuming that they can also purchase a metal file and/or belt sander at the same store.

Alternatively, an assassin could go with a Garotte wire which anyone can fasten with two sticks and a thin length of high-strength steel wire … which is also readily available just about everywhere in every developed nation.

Reducing the supply of (or even eliminating) firearms does not address improvised firearms much less melee weapons. I guess gun-grabbers never got the memo.
