New From Hailey Ordnance: AeGIS Adjustable Integrally Suppressed 10/22 Barrel

DSC05130

Hailey Ordnance Company has released a pretty slick, integrally suppressed barrel for the 10/22 called the AeGIS — Adjustable Gas Integrated Suppressor. By rotating the barrel sleeve, the user can very quickly and easily adjust how much, if any, gas is bled from the barrel to reduce velocity. Bleeding off gas and pressure allows standard velocity .22 LR ammo to be made subsonic, and sealing the port means match-grade and other subsonic ammo maintains its intended velocity. It’s also lightweight and user serviceable . . .

Versions are available with an all-aluminum baffle system or, as seen above, with a nitrided steel blast baffle insert.

    How much?

  2. avatar Mike J says:

Would it need to be registered like other suppressors?

    1. avatar OneOfTheGoodGuys says:

That would be a “yes.” $200 and a 6 month wait!

  3. avatar Geoff PR says:

Will they make one for the Takedown 10/22?

    1. avatar HB says:

Yes, THIS please. Been looking for awhile, may have to get one of these for my TD if the pricing isn’t absurd.

        I second the motion

Check out Thompson Machine. They make integrally suppressed 10/22 barrels. I can’t imagine the one in this article would be cheaper than the ones from Thompson.

        1. avatar Geoff PR says:

Thompson’s version is $850 on your supplied 10/22 takedown:

Apparently Hailey hasn’t updated their website.

    Integral Suppressors always looks nice

Muzzle-mounted ones have a kind of ‘Evil Secret Agent’ cool vibe to them…
