Hailey Ordnance Company has released a pretty slick, integrally suppressed barrel for the 10/22 called the AeGIS — Adjustable Gas Integrated Suppressor. By rotating the barrel sleeve, the user can very quickly and easily adjust how much, if any, gas is bled from the barrel to reduce velocity. Bleeding off gas and pressure allows standard velocity .22 LR ammo to be made subsonic, and sealing the port means match-grade and other subsonic ammo maintains its intended velocity. It’s also lightweight and user serviceable . . .
Versions are available with an all-aluminum baffle system or, as seen above, with a nitrided steel blast baffle insert.
