Art’s a man of the cloth. Given his profession, he’s surely familiar with Romans 12:18: “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.” He also obviously knows that not everyone subscribes to that sentiment. Hence the GLOCK 43. See the rest of his Everyday Carry below . . .

Guess this guy’s “branch of service” doesn’t include a vow of poverty, huh?

    1. avatar FormerWaterWalker says:

A laborer is worthy of his hire. I’m fine with his stuff. Vows of poverty are generally a catholic thing anyway…

      1. avatar Ebby123 says:

Yeah there’s no vow of poverty in scripture – sometimes it was noted that wealth can get in the way, but its never condemned. That’s purely a religious (man-made tradition) thing created by certain denominations.

        1. avatar Meanoldmike says:

“And there was a certain beggar, named Lazarus, who lay at his gate, full of sores,
Desiring to be filled with the crumbs that fell from the rich man’ s table, and no one did give him; moreover the dogs came, and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’ s bosom. And the rich man also died: and he was buried in hell. ” So that’s one point of view……

        2. avatar Mudshark says:

I allways thought, and still do, the dogs licking his sores was a good thing. Like cleaning him up, lick their wounds thing. Poor guy that had to suck, begging for crumbs and all. I used to be a catholic, but I quit and Im still poor.

      2. avatar Simon says:

Even if he were Catholic, priests generally do not take a vow of poverty.

        1. avatar Junkanoo Jones says:

          Religion is a business

  2. avatar MKK says:

    Sauer but no Sig?

    1. avatar Vhyrus says:

Dammit, you beat me to it.

    2. avatar Tim says:

      Better yet a Sauer 38H.

  3. avatar Shire-man says:

I never would have expected to see so many “smart” watches. From day one I expected them to fail miserably.

    1. avatar Ebby123 says:

I had similar expectations, but they’re surprisingly handy. Its kind of like the most commonly used functions on your phone, only you don’t have to take it out of your pocket.

      1. avatar Geoff PR says:

They’re quite handy on letting you see who’s calling and whether or not to let it go to voicemail…

    2. avatar HandyDan says:

I thought so too, but apparently peoples love them. Of course, I also didn’t get text messaging until 2012, or a smartphone until 2015, so maybe my tastes are not a good barometer for modem electronics. Oh, and I’m a millenial.

      1. avatar Mudshark says:

Wife says to me, ” Mud you need a wristwatch,” I said to her ” Hey you dumb bitch I used to be a catholic, were to poor for a wristwatch, that damned vow of poverty thing still haunts me. Besides I want a Timex wind up.”

  4. avatar RockOnHellChild says:

See the discoloration on that slide… That is a man who actually carries his gun.

    1. avatar Hannibal says:

Though it’s unclear in what way he does so…

      1. avatar RockOnHellChild says:

Clearly, wood box carry. I hear it’s all the rage.

  5. avatar Anner says:

Is his segment officially endorsed by burts bees?

    1. avatar Geoff PR says:

I’ve heard that the Burt’s works well as an improvised slide grease.

      (j/k)…

  6. avatar Hannibal says:

    Nice box. Ugly magazine.

    1. avatar Mudshark says:

When I first spotted the mag , I thought” huh musta dropped his gun and duct taped the cracked bottom” , then I looked closer and thought, ” huh, why silver?, that looks like somebody fixed a broken gun with duct tape, “

      1. avatar Hannibal says:

Hmm.. silver… man of the cloth… werewolf hunter?

  7. avatar wrightl3 says:

The new Uncle Mike’s box holster. It will fit all of your gear in one convenient location. Coming soon to a Tactical shop near you.

  8. avatar Ryan says:

It’s not a tactical box until it’s black, or cyote.
