Social Responsibility Network’s GunTV to air across the USA on April 1, 2016

Hockessin, Del. (March 31, 2016) – Social Responsibility Network LLC and GTV Live Shopping LLC, are launching GunTV, a television shopping network for firearms and related consumer goods, on April 1, 2016. The network will air across the country on a variety of cable networks and television stations. The new GunTV website, www.guntv.tv, will be launched simultaneously.

“We are very excited to bring our new concept of shopping for firearms and accessories to live television. Our unique platform allows industry manufacturers to showcase products through our talented and experienced on-air hosts. GunTV will initially air 7-days a week from 1AM to 7AM EST and plans to scale the network to a 24/7 broadcast schedule. The network will also provide a superior level of service through highly trained and knowledgeable customer experience representatives recruited from the veteran and former law enforcement community who will assist GunTV customers with making purchases over the phone and online.

    My advice to the folks in that photo, though, is to keep your resume circulating. This doesn’t seem like a real long-term business model to me.

    • Agree, I just don’t see a viable business model, 9 employees to start?

      I doubt I’ll be buying ammo from them, seeing as there are ammo-seeking search engines and the like.

      Gun folks don’t tend to be couch potatoes staring at a TV screen for hours waiting for the next ‘deal’. Things like work and family eat up a lot their time.

      I just don’t see it.

      Well, maybe one person will be a couch potato sending out Tweets if a screaming deal pops up…

      • Airing from 1A to 7A? Who did the demo on that? I mean, the selected air talent checks all the boxes – cowboy, ex-mil, few eye candies, token black guy, vaguely Hispanic guy. Follows the formula. But still.

        Has to be an elaborate April Fools. Or someone really stupid with a whole lotta money.

  2. Hockessin, Del. huh? That isn’t far from where Joe Biden ‘lives’. Probably just incorporated there for tax and legal purposes.

    • That’s the only reason any business has a Delaware address – tax and legal purposes. It’s almost always a PO box, almost no one actually has an office there.

      If you’re in a $10MM-$1B-ish environment, likely DE is advantageous. Once you pass the $1B threshold, the off-shore tricks used by the big boys begin to make sense. But you really need dedicated people for those strategies.

          It’s a little odd, like its in 3 segments, strange-ish vertical reflection…

        • Exactly that. It’s like a loaded round, seated into another casing. Like plopping a .223 round inside a 10mm case. It’s stupid.
          More stupid than the AR pictured with an optic mounted atop the non floating hand guard with the carry handle…
          If this is real, it’s going to be more marketing hype than anything.
          If it’s going to be like QVC, expect flower chamber flags, pink fuzzy gun cases and other drivel. Oh well, wait and see…

  6. Well that is good publicity for firearms, however I dont like the idea of giving out information to people about firearms or related products over the phone or net. They may want to know the exsact location of the boat that my x girlfiend stole and sank with all my firearms on board, even tho she denys it.

  7. Limited choices of weaponry. Just checked out their website. Not much in handguns or rifles. Perhaps, overtime, they’ll have choices to drool over. Not at this time, though.

  8. Doomed to fail. I don’t think they realize who there market is if one of their lead-off sales pitches is fro a Desert Eagle 44. Seriously?
