At the risk of being picky, that’s more like $10 ea. than $9.

      1. avatar SteveM says:

Yah, we can drop the $0.009 from the price of gas without too big of an error, but I stopped reading at $9/mag as I don’t suffer fools.

  1. avatar Randy in Indiana says:

I have no interest in that “way cool death’s head.” For me, that detracts considerably from the magazine’s value.

  2. avatar BDub says:

I stocked up on P-Mags around Sandyhook, but thanks.

  3. avatar Vhyrus says:

Nothing says douche quite like skulls all over your guns.

    1. avatar Bob says:

      …except an MDA sticker

      1. avatar Vhyrus says:

I think an MDA sticker on an AR would be the height of avant garde hilarious irony.

        1. avatar Tom in Oregon says:

I like the idea so much, I just might make an mda themed gun!
          Epic!

        2. avatar jwtaylor says:

          Tom,
Does anyone make an Astroturf pattern for Cerakoting? The gun would advertise it could hold 1,000,0000 rounds, but only 16 ever make it into the magazine. Plus, the engineering feat of making a gun fail after half a mag, only to have it cry and stamp it’s feet is nigh impossible.

        3. avatar TTACer says:

          @Tom

Do it for the children! Oh, won’t someone please think of the children!

        4. avatar Tom in Oregon says:

So many ideas… This will be cool.
I may have to install a shoulder thing that goes up!
Make the lower out of clear polymer so it has the appearance of a “ghost” gun…

    2. avatar Lost Down South says:

OR makes the prosecutor’s job easier.

      1. avatar Jimmyjames says:

        Yep…what he said.

    3. avatar jwtaylor says:

To each his own. I got 20. Cheap PMAGS are good. Cheap PMags that don’t look like everyone else’s, even better.

  4. avatar Corodon says:

Shiver me timbers, bulk skull and crossbones mags! Just what I be needin’ to outfit me pirate crew’s blunderbusses.

  5. avatar John L. says:

    Thanks, but no.

More power to you if you’re into this sort of thing.

  6. avatar sota says:

at least you won’t mind as much if you decide to paint them.

  7. avatar Shire-man says:

So no deal on ones without the tattoo?
Funny how perceived added value in reality detracts from total value.
Just ask any lass sportin’ a tramp stamp.
If you want me to advertise your logo/business/product free is the only price I’d pay. Even then I’d probably cover it up somehow.

    1. avatar Vhyrus says:

Speak for yourself. I like easy women.

  8. avatar Eric says:

It isn’t too hard to find plain Pmags at $9.00 to $9.50. If you’re buying them for $12.00 a pop, you’re doing something wrong.

    1. avatar Jerrick says:

Especially Gen 2/MOE Pmags. Gen 3 are a little trickier to find at that price range, but are still out there.

  9. avatar Siris says:

Sounds like a decent deal. Id kinda like to see a bigger break for buying 10 mags.
But.. My local store has gen2 mags with no logo for $10, gen3 for like $13-15-ish I think. 40rd for about $20

Gen3 mags for $10 isn’t a bad deal were I live, even for pirate mags.. 😉

    1. avatar Siris says:

Is it just me or are they saying this deal is for gen3 mags but the pic is showing gen2 mags?
I can get gen2 mags for this price locally and not have to wait/pay for shipping.

Id still like to see a bigger break or add Ranger plates to them or something..
Not many people want to have to pay near retail price to advertise for someone else’s company.

      $5-7 mags w/logo.. You’ll sell out today..
Trying to compete with local store prices plus shipping and wait time..
Probably gonna have a few left over tonight..
      Imo..

      1. avatar Robert Farago says:

Right you are. Gen 2. Text amended.

        1. avatar Jon in CO says:

Their own site lists Gen 3, but picture Gen 2. So I’m not sure what they’re actually selling.

        2. avatar jwtaylor says:

          Gen 2, fer sure.

      2. avatar neiowa says:

Not many people want to have to pay near retail price to advertise for someone else’s company. That’s going to come as a shock to most of the “casual wear” clothing manufacturers, sports teams, outdoor retailers, etc etc etc that count on suckers paying $25 for a $5 shirt/cap with a logo.

  10. avatar CentralIL says:

Good deal for someone planning to paint them anyway.

  11. avatar clickboom says:

Appreciate that it’s an obvious ad, unlike the shameless shilling posited as “articles” on thefirearmblog.com

And it’s really not a bad deal at all. I probably won’t get them, but 10 each for gen3 is solid.

  12. avatar vv ind says:

How much is shipping to CA?

  13. avatar uncommon_sense says:

Do the Gen 3 magazines have the detachable dust cover?

  14. avatar Jerrick says:

Midwayusa.com currently has Gen 3 Pmags, sand color, for $9.17 each. This also includes a dust cover. I bought 10 and with shipping my order was right at $99.

  15. avatar Dave says:

Seriously ? Almost $20 for the. Cheapest shipping?

Bait and switch ? Not quite, but both unethical and dishonest. Shipping does not cost that much

    1. avatar jwtaylor says:

Unfortunately it may, depending on where you are and what shipping options you choose. At Fighter Design, if I wanted to ship to Underground, all of maybe 10 miles away, the USPS would charge me $13 just for the flat rate box to put the mags in. If I wanted it fast the price would jump way up, and that’s my cost before I print labels, pack, and take it to the store.
UPS to 25th INF in Hawaii, I can’t get much there under $40. Drives me crazy.

  16. avatar DavidinNC says:

Does anyone have a link to any comparison tests between this Mapul brand and the more well-known Magpul competition? Just curious to see how it stacks up.

  17. avatar Stinkeye says:

Finally, mags that are properly labeled for poison-tipped bullets.

  18. avatar int19h says:

Guys, this sort of stuff is really pointless, and a waste of both yours and the readers’ time. If we want to find a good deal on mags (or ammo, or whatever) in stock, we can always go here and get up-to-date results:
