I know with freedom of speech we have to take the idiotic with the intelligent but I’ll admit to secretly wishing I had the mastery of the “zip it” technique that Dr Evil has.

    1. avatar James says:

ladies and gentlemen Zip it A.

    2. avatar IdahoPete says:

Hey, don’t be so judgmental – the qualifications for “supemodel” include being a total airhead.

  2. avatar the ruester says:

…I’m sorry, were you saying something?

    1. avatar Rad Man says:

When I need hard-hitting political commentary I turn to…Chrissy Teigen?

  3. avatar John L. says:

Well by all means, feel free to move…

  4. avatar Steve says:

Someone cares about what a person who gets paid to put on clothes and look good???

    1. avatar angryAZ says:

No one pays to put clothes on she gets paid to make you think of her taking them off……..

  5. avatar Curtis in IL says:

I have a twitter account and you should follow me, because we fashion models are known for our superior intellect.

  6. avatar Bear The Grizzly says:

We seen this event as proof that no amount of regulations is going to stop people with evil intent, but they see it as proof it would happen less. What a magical land they must live in. I hope I am able to visit it one day.

    1. avatar Curtis in IL says:

Just don’t get sick while you’re there. A visit to a Canadian Emergency Room is like going back twenty years. That’s socialized medicine.

      1. avatar KB Dave says:

        B-b-b-but free healthcares!!!

  7. avatar Rokurota says:

If anything good comes out of this attack, it’s the NY Times waking up to the fact that Islamic extremism — and not American greed or adventurism — that’s the real global threat:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/24/world/americas/in-the-west-a-growing-list-of-attacks-linked-to-islamic-extremism.html?_r=0

    1. avatar IdahoPete says:

Wait, wait – I thought President Feckless had determined that this was “workplace violence” in Canada.

You know, like the Ft. Hood “workplace violence”.

  8. avatar KingSarc48265 says:

Also illegal in the US, just like it is illegal in Canada. Yet evil does not follow the rule of law, or basic morals, or common sense. It makes no difference where evil raises its head in the world, laws, rules, and regulation do nothing to deter it. In Canada, just like in the US, and every else in the world, it will ALWAYS take a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun.

  9. avatar Mike says:

    Chrissy who?

    1. avatar Jus Bill says:

      Yup!

  10. avatar PeterC says:

How do I shut up the talking ads on this site? They “double up” so it sounds like two people talking at once, so it’s totally unintelligible as well as annoying.

    1. avatar dano says:

Use chrome or Firefox with adblock.

      1. avatar brando says:

        +1
It’s a free add-on and all of a sudden many websites will look way better to you. Just google “adblock plus for [insert browser name here]”

(it even blocks the ads before youtube videos that aren’t easily skippable)

      2. avatar KB Dave says:

Yup. Adblock is currently blocking eight ads on this page.

    2. avatar Frank says:

I think I used active x filtering on Internet explorer to stop those damned annoying videos.

    3. avatar Nick says:

I won’t surf the net without Adblock Edge and disconnect.me addons. I know it affects the revenue of good sites like TTAG, but they chose to put obtrusive and annoying ads on their pages so I have no choice but to block the ads.

  11. avatar bandolero says:

She looks like she needs to eat. I hear malnourished people can’t think straight.

    1. avatar John Galt says:

Brain Shrinkage in Anorexia Is Reversible
      http://www.livescience.com/8293-brain-shrinkage-anorexia-reversible.html

When in a state of starvation, the women with anorexia nervosa had less gray-matter brain volume compared with healthy women. And those who had the illness the longest showed the greatest reductions in brain volume when underweight.

Scientists aren’t sure whether or not the brain-volume changes have an impact on cognition, and that’s something Roberto would like to look into. There have been reports of cognitive impairment in those with anorexia nervosa, but scientists don’t know if it’s linked to grey-matter shrinking.

  12. avatar dano says:

When she gets old and wrinkled no one will pay attention to her.

    1. avatar Jus Bill says:

      You mean they do now?????

    2. avatar Phil COV says:

Yep. She’ll be another 30 yr old supermodel just like… um…? Well she’ll be 30 anyway.

  13. avatar Gov. William J. Le Petomane says:

America? I think she means Chicago.

    1. avatar James says:

Or Milwaukee or Detroit or Oakland or Los Angeles or Nashville or Memphis or Miami or any major urban center where they’ve chosen to devalue education, esteem and enshrine welfare and dependency.

Take a bow Chrissy! Your political philosophy has worked better than anyone could have expected.

  14. avatar mark_anthony_78 says:

And how many kids die in the sweatshops that make the clothes she peddles?

  15. avatar Roll says:

And her opinion matters….why? Just another “celebrity” who thinks they know better.

  16. avatar RockOnHellChild says:

    Shhhh… Just be pretty…

    1. avatar Phil COV says:

      Ha!

  17. avatar SdubM45 says:

Apparently the name Mark Lepine means nothing to her.

  18. avatar TheSleeperHasAwakened says:

I want to call her something that rhymes with Cumb Dunt.

Sorry haven’t had my morning coffee yet.

  19. avatar Kyle in CT says:

You realize this is a person who has tweeted such gems as:

“ALL MY EVENTS THIS WEEK INVOLVE ME GETTING TO CONSUME FOOD.”

    and

“You seem fun. RT @Tex2333 there’s too many people on earth anyway. Were due for another plague”

I will forever maintain that twitter is the last bastion of the truly narcissistic.

    1. avatar John M. says:

The last bastion? The truly narcissistic will never run out of bastions.

      1. avatar John Galt says:

        Great wisdom John M. speaks.

        ROFL!

  20. avatar FoRealz? says:

    She’s an idiot.

Unfortunately T&A gives dumb dumbs like this a platform to enlighten the rest of us with their ignorant tripe.

Go back to taking selfies and duck face photos. Leave the big thinking to others.

  21. avatar martin says:

No no Christy you are confused Again.(Gets a map and a calender) see canada is a country and Wednesday is a day of the week, remember I showed you this before. Oh well it is a good thing you are pretty.

    Sarc/

  22. avatar Ian says:

    IQ = Waist

    1. avatar mig says:

if you are indicating that IQ and waist size are proportional, I’m approaching genius. 🙂

oh, wait, you meant waste didn’t you.

      Crap, there went my ego.

  23. avatar Morgan Y. says:

We call it Monday through Sunday because the media clowns won’t let a story die as long as they can get viewers or listeners eyes puckered in fear. Because parrots like you are told this thing happens so often simply because it makes the news.

“How do you reach a culture that listens with its eyes and thinks with its feelings?”

  24. avatar John E> says:

    vacuous

    1. avatar Curtis in IL says:

I expect a vacuous person to be oblivious to her own vacuosity, but what of her followers? What kind of person finds it a prudent use of his/her time to plug into fashion models on Twitter?

      1. avatar Jus Bill says:

Girls under 12, usually living in Southern states.

  25. avatar Jon in NC says:

Well I actually agree with this comment…..I am not at all phased when I hear this kinda news. To me it’s like hearing about a car wreck…yaaawn next!

    1. avatar Ian says:

Difference is you only hear about the shooters when they rarely happen. You hear about car wrecks when there is nothing else to report because they happen constantly all day. They can be relied on to put blood on your TV when nothing else is available.

      1. avatar Jon in NC says:

Shootings happen everyday here in Charlotte….its not rare.

        1. avatar Ian says:

Ongoing active shooter scenarios like the one that spurred this article are.

  26. avatar Dirk Diggler says:

glad you clarified who she is. . . . looks like someone else I met over in E. St Louis wearing platform heels and a thong. . . . .

    1. avatar Avid Reader says:

      Then you’re a far braver man than I. . .

      1. avatar Dirk Diggler says:

IL allows CCW holder to have a loaded weapon in their car. . . . problem is getting to your car from the “dance hall”

    2. avatar Curtis in IL says:

      Another unrequited love, Dirk?

      1. avatar Geoff PR says:

Sooner or later (later as in when the sun runs out of hydrogen) Shannon will come around to Dirk’s POV…

  27. avatar Another Robert says:

    Then move to Canada, dumbass.

    1. avatar Scott P says:

      +1

I hate these people who always whine about how much better a place is. If it is then go what is stopping you? Why do you stay in a place you hate so much?

I hated where I lived in Maryland, libtard land. I thought Florida was better. So i picked up and moved. I put my money where my mouth was.

But that would require work and sacrifice that a lot of these “progressives” seem to balk at expecting someone else to do it for them.

    2. avatar Ralph says:

She can’t move to Canada, Another Robert, because she doesn’t speak Canadian.

      1. avatar LarryinTX says:

        Ralph, you’re killing me, here.

  28. avatar Stinkeye says:

Aren’t there any just plain “models” anymore? Seems like anybody who gets paid to be visible these days is automatically a “supermodel”. I miss the old days, when that title was reserved for only those people who had worked extremely hard and had truly mastered the craft of wearing clothes and reflecting light onto photographic film.

It’s kind of like porn: there are no “porn character actors”, they’re all “porn stars“.

  29. avatar Frank says:

My secretary is better looking than her and doesn’t say stupid things.

    1. avatar scoutino says:

What good is a mute secretary?

    2. avatar Former Water Walker says:

My beautiful wife looks better than her and is 54. She’s also smarter than me.

      1. avatar Rick says:

Hey, she was smart enough to marry you, right??

      2. avatar Geoff PR says:

        @Former Water Walker –

Begs the question… What’s she doing with a guy like *you*?

        😉

        1. avatar former water walker says:

Beats the hell outa’ me after 27 years 🙂

  30. avatar former water walker says:

Married to John Legend. NOT anorexic. Think playboy or sports illustrated. Gets naked a lot. And she’s a brain dead t##t.

      1. avatar former water walker says:

Fill in the blank Ralph! 🙂

        1. avatar Ralph says:

          I’d like to buy a vowel. 🙂

  31. avatar dph says:

Someone give that girl a sammich……

    1. avatar Curtis in IL says:

Plug her name into google images and behold. God bless her parents. She’s getting plenty of nourishment, but apparently her brain is starved for oxygen.

    2. avatar Stupid Stuff I Say says:

Put her in the kitchen and tell her to make us all sammiches. She’ll call that “A Weekend”.

  32. avatar Bill C in w. tx. says:

My first thought when I read was simply “Who?” Then, after considering the matter a bit longer, I came back around to “Who??” followed up by a quick “So what?” Who the hell cares what this person has to say about guns?

And for the record, in America (that leading uppercase letter is really fscking important) we don’t always shoot soldiers on Wednesday (and when we do its classified as workplace violence).

  33. avatar DocHendo says:

Oh I’m sorry did someone tell you that because you’re appealing to the eye you’re appealing to the ear as well? That would be wrong. Now sthu and go look pretty for the camera, m’kay?

  34. avatar Publius says:

Beauty and brains rarely go together, regardless of gender.

  35. avatar Bob says:

“supermodel…or we say in my world, shiny paperweight”

    1. avatar Geoff PR says:

      Shiny Expensive Paperweight…

      FIFY

    2. avatar Geoff PR says:

      Shiny Expensive paperweight…

  36. avatar Nelson says:

apparently the brunette stereotype doesn’t hold. may as well switch out the blond jokes now.

  37. avatar Ing says:

So…people in Canada get shot on Wednesdays. Got it.

We really need to find a way to kill “active shooter” as a term. It sets up a spurious and damaging binary. Everyone who hears it unconsciously divides shooting and shooters into into two categories: those who are currently murdering innocents, and those who haven’t “activated” themselves yet.

  38. avatar Pg2 says:

T & A pushing the states agenda, awesome. If anyone’s bullshit detector gets overloaded, just turn of off the television. Instant cure.

  39. avatar publius2 says:

hmmm. 10 more pounds and ten more years and this gal is a dead ringer for a pug dog face. not as smart tho.

  40. avatar Ralph says:

Obama sent condolences to Canada for that tragic case of workplace violence.

    1. avatar v v ind says:

He made a cell phone call from the golf course?

      1. avatar Model 31 says:

nope, sent a ipod to the Prime Minister with his condolences and a copy of all his speeches in mp3 format.

        1. avatar Yellow Devil says:

          Zing!

        2. avatar v v ind says:

Sent it UPS ground or DHL 5 day select?

  41. avatar Hannibal says:

One of these guys ran down some Canadians with a car and murdered one… I’m sure they were so happy he didn’t have a gun…

  42. avatar Curtis in IL says:

“active shooting in Canada, or as we call it in america, wednesday”

I just noticed she managed to capitalize “Canada,” but not “America.”

    Or “Wednesday.”
    She is a special snowflake.

  43. avatar libtard says:

My wife and daughter are better looking than that nitwit and my daughter has a PHD in chemistry.

  44. avatar Southern Cross says:

The wit and wisdom of supermodels:

    http://www.geocities.ws/htonishi/supermodel.htm

    Beauty X Brains = Constant

With supermodels the constant is very low.

  45. avatar The Pit Boxer says:

With a fivehead like that, I can’t believe there’s not much brain in there.

  46. avatar LarryinTX says:

I’ve been all over America, but I haven’t found a place where they referred to Canada as “Wednesday”. Is this supposed to be cute, somehow? Supposed to mean something?

  47. avatar Stupid Stuff I Say says:

I’m sorry. Did you say something? I didn’t hear you because I was too busy staring at your tits while thinking about the various ways I wanted to screw you, but then I woke up and realized it wasn’t going to happen. I’m not a liberal Democrat, therefore screwing people is not something I’m accustomed to.

  48. avatar Phil COV says:

I don’t know who this is, therefore I fail to see why I should care about what she has to say.
In summation; that’s nice sweetheart. Now hit the gym and put on this swimsuit.

  49. avatar Fug says:

This girl has been all over Hulu promoting Stella Artois. Won’t be drinking that Belgian piss anymore.

  50. avatar AJ187 says:

The thing is models like her are practically deities to liberal woman that worship everything they say or do. These women simply want to be just like them. But the subject of the sickness of celebrity worship is a whole nother story.
