“Danika Riley, 40, was ‘stomping’ on the elderly man’s head and kicking him with her work boots when Port Authority cops spotted the 7:30 a.m. attack,” nydailynews.com reports. “The octogenarian resident of West New York, N.J., was waiting outside the ladies room for his wife when Riley attacked him for no apparent reason.” Once again, New York’s civilian disarmament regime left one of society’s most vulnerable members defenseless against a violent attack. “The Port Authority police said Riley has an extensive criminal history in New York, Oklahoma and Washington state that includes drug possession, false impersonation, gun possession and an assault on a police officer.” I wonder what Ms. Riley thinks of the Empire State’s gun laws. When she can think. In any case, it should have been a defensive gun use; as in God made man, Samuel Colt made them equal. [h/t DD]

46 Responses to It Should Have Been A Defensive Gun Use: Bus Terminal Octogenarian Head Stomp Edition

  1. She had to leave both Oklahoma and Washington State for the weaker ones…… those tough talking New York/ new jersey folks are unarmed and scared.. Perfect prey.

    • Got that right. I live in Washington. Looks like someone may have already punted her head by the looks of that scar on her chin.
Thumping an old person is a sure fire way to get your melon cave in. Old people, animals and kids is a zero tolerance thing with me.

      • Reminds me of a punk in Aurora, Colorado that tried to mug me outside of my apartment building back in the ’80s. The last thing the little bastard said before I gave him a week’s vacation in intensive care was “c’mon, old man”.

  2. A snub nosed 38 could have permanently solved this woman’s life problems. It also would have allowed an elderly man and woman to go home physically unharmed.

      • .38, .357, 9mm .380 it’s all the same, just a different jiggle. Yeah we could have skinned our smoke wagons and ended Ms Buckled Looks career, but that sure wouldn’t have been as much fun as jumping up and down on her head or kicking it like a football.

      • The 38. ammo is second only to the 57mm in terms of power. Its among the most powerful rounds available in clips. Decimal joke.

  3. /sarc/ He probably was a racist one percenter so her attack was social justice. One more for the good guys, right Bill D, right Shannon, right Mark G? Tell your boss Michael to illustrate this case as successful policy. /sarc/

    • Either that person had a ring on or they whacked her with something.

Sounds like this woman doesn’t belong in society.

  4. What a charming young lady. Homeless, you say? Probably another victim of the Republicans’ war on women. I’m sure that NYC’s new mayor, Kaiser Wilhelm, will object strongly to this woman being punished for defending her class against a capitalist oppressor of the brave proletariat.

BTW, if you have never been to the PA bus terminal on 8th Avenue, I have one word for you: don’t.

    • I darned near lived in that place during the 60’s. Norfolk – NYC – Norfolk every weekend I got off.

  5. Great job Republic of New York. You managed to make law abiding citizens a threat if they exercise their right to keep in bear arms to protect themselves. Thus giving criminals a free to commit crimes on people because I know they don’t have anything to fight back pass.

  6. I didn’t realize I needed a gun for self-protection until a human predator tried the same with me; luckily I was in my thirties, worked out a lot, knew martial arts and live in a state that has OC without a license and CC with. Maybe the prey will come to his senses and move to where he can legally carry a weapon. Better late than never.

    • Let’s see, in your 80s, your wife present and threatened, you injured, screw moving, get a gun and who GAS about the law, multipuncture the next time. Then walk away.

  7. Laws that forbid the carrying of arms … disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants, they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. — President Thomas Jefferson

Some men [and women] just need killin’. — James Butler “Wild Bill” Hickok

  8. This is what Obama wants the people to be defenseless to protect themselves from thugs and from the government’s national army, NSA, so they will have little resistance from the public when our country turns into a dictator government. Its Hilter’s play book being ran on the American public.

    • Obama and the democrats want a sizable portion of their voter base, the career criminal with degrees in all sorts of crime from state universities err um penitentiaries. Gotta look out for them, dems steal from the middle class, say it’s from the rich, and give it to the “poor”, the criminals rob from the poor and give the dems all sorts of talking points to scare people with and maintain their downward spiral.

  9. Career criminal with gun charges on her rap sheet, liberals don’t give a shit cause no “gun violence” occurred, wouldn’t give a shit if she had used a gun to shoot him cause she’s a criminal and worst of all, they say things like “elderly victims are statistically lowest in violent crime statistics”; should inform them that mass shootings like Sandy Hook are far far lower on the totem pole.

  10. Woman looks demon possesed. Cops should have beat the demons out of her with old hickory, or new aluminuim. Either save her from those evil spirits or kill her in the process.

    I’m good with either.

    • Moments after this photo was taken, her head swiveled all the way around on her neck and she upchucked green stuff. I read it somewhere.

    • I’d rather the poor gentleman had the chance to put a few holes in her and let the demons just squirt out that way. This is a sickening story all around.

  11. As differentiated from true impersonation…?

That said, something like that should be shoot on sight – the expression says it all.

    Ugh! Yuck! Bleah!

  12. Sad thing is, if you took away the scar and cleaned her up, she would look reasonably attractive. But she made her choices to take the path she’s headed down, and probably will die on. I’m all for ‘getting help’ but there’s only so many times you can do that before losing patience.

    Tom

  13. Another victim of Governor Cumo’s “Safe Act”. Individuals such as this usually end up in states that are “gun free” zones, so that they can easily ply their trades. Unfortunately, politicians just can’t seem to figure this out.

  14. I’m wondering where all the commenters are from the other day saying “Wait, wait, we don’t know what REALLY was going on. That lady could have been the real victim here! She just got the better of her attacker. If we stepped in, we might have been helping the bad guy.”

    Where’s the consistency?

A women was getting the sh&t beat out of her – the tune of numerous broken bones and loose teeth – and a bunch of the comments leaned toward passivity and cautions against getting involved….watch from the sidelines because of what it COULD have been.

An old man was getting beaten / kicked by a woman and not one single “what is really happening” post?

Interesting meta commentary on TTAG’s readership, just in my own observation.

    • I still stand by my opinion on deadly force used on a weaponless perp… But there is nothing in My rule book thats says you cant beat his ass… This chick just happened to fall out of the ugly tree, and hit every single branch on the way down.

    • not from me. and deadly force would probably have been justified in the case of woman getting beaten by the angry black man, despite what fuque says.

  15. There is something wrong with this country when a person with a record like that – which proves she is incapable of “rehabilitation” – is back out on the street. Yet some states lock up college kids caught with doobage or a 17 year old kid who has shtupped his 16 year old girlfriend.

There is something wrong with this country when a 40-year old woman assaults an 80+ year old.

Anyway, concealed carry might have kept an octogenarian from a potentially life threatening ass-whooping. And improved that woman’s look with a few “accessory piercings” approximately 1/3 inch in diameter.

  16. According to the FBI unified crime statistics more people die by fists and feet than rifles of any type. It would seem as if we have an Assault Boot epidemic in this country. I wonder what our government is doing to keep this dangerous footwear out of the wrong hands while still allowing good people to keep work boots for sporting uses and personal protection.
