“According to slate.com, ABC News edited their interview with Juror B29 in the George Zimmerman trial to raise doubts about the verdict. “The video that has been broadcast—on World News TonightNightline, and Good Morning America—has been cut and spliced in different ways, often so artfully that the transitions appear continuous . . . On closer inspection, [the juror known as] Maddy has been manipulated and misrepresented.” The website cites numerous examples of subtle but egregious editing (e.g., intimating that she doesn’t stand by the verdict). The “money shot”: juror B29 did not say George Zimmerman “got away with murder.” Under the gun for twisting the juror’s words, ABC News has yet to release a transcript of the full interview. Are there no depths to which the mainstream media will sink in order to pursue their race-baiting anti-gun agenda?

  1. Sounds like Juror B29 just hit the defamation/libel jackpot. Congratulations. You ARE a millionaire.

        • Yeah, really!

To answer the question: “Are there no depths to which the mainstream media will sink in order to pursue their race-baiting anti-gun agenda?”

          In a word; NO!

        • The only surprise would have been if they DIDNT deceptively edit it.
MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, spit, spit…
wouldnt walk across the street to piss on one of them if they were on fire…

        • @RLC2
I would, but I’d wait until the fire had caused enough damage to cause a slow, painful, and inevitable demise first. 😉

    • Maybe Zimmerman could add ABC to his lawsuit against NBC for doctoring the 911 tape. After all, it’s Zimmerman they’re saying got away with murder.

  2. You’d think they would learn after the first time they got hit with a major lawsuit over this garbage.

    • No where. And they know it.

The liberal junkies are all hopped up on their crazy kool-aid & there will never be a retraction or a setting of the record straight & any suit will be settled out of court with a gag clause so it ends up quitly being swept under the rug & the dishonest-machine keeps grinding away.

Welcome to the real world of “Wag the Dog”.

      Stupid, stupid sheeple.

  3. I can’t even pretend to be shocked by this crap. We actually discussed media bias in my adult Sunday School class yesterday. Though we came from radically different political views, we all agreed that MSM cannot be trusted.

  4. Ah yes, the tried & tested journalistic principle: Never let the truth stand in the way of a good story.

    • We need to have a conversation about reasonable broadcasting control.

These high capacity, assault antennas clearly are only used for misleading the public into rioting.

Nobody needs a satellite uplink to show a nature program.

  5. ” Are there no depths to which the mainstream media will sink in order to pursue their race-baiting anti-gun agenda?”
    No.

  6. Ok, after listening to the current video I don’t see how juror B29 was misrepresented in any way…

    • +1
IMHO, This is much to do about nothing. Editors edit, that’s what they do. Hearing and seeing both the earlier and the newly discovered versions of video really doesn’t move the needle here guys.

    • By cutting her comment down and so tightly, they changed it from her addressing the people that say he got away with murder to her saying he got away with murder. It was done very subtly, and like others said, ABC will say they edited for time, but what was said was in fact changed.

  7. This is about as bad as the garbage NBC pulled. This is egregious given they are literally editing news stories to have a certain outcome. These clowns aren’t journalists, they are hacks.

    • No, this is nowhere near as bad as the NBC thing, I don’t think. It’s not good, but it’s possible she even feels he got away with murder, and if so, it’s not an intentional misrepresentation of fact. What NBC did was absolutely an intentional misrepresentation of fact.

      • I said about as bad. Keep in mind that this is AFTER the trial so it is no where near the impact except maybe fanning the flames for a Fed. Case. The NBC audio was played dozens of times daily and pushed by Crump et al. which let to the Police Chief getting fired and a special prosecutor getting set up. Frankly, I think there should be some criminal charges as well as civil suite in there and I think some of that rests with Ben Crump and his punk partner.

  8. They are telling the larger truth; they are telling the truth that we all need to hear; the truth that can’t be told by telling the truth. Only by lying can the real truth be told.

And the Liberal/progressives in the print and broadcast news wonder why they get no respect.

  9. The problem with this women and like many just like her, they believe that the person who shot the other person is guilty just because he was the shooter. THOWOUT everything else, one person killed another so they believe it is murder plain and simple.

You see this all the time on the news reports. In a recent case here in my state, a person with a mile long list of past convictions for burglary and assault broke into a house and started to beat one of the owners of the home, the husband come out and sees what is happening and shoots the intruder and kills him. The community is in outrage that this good boy who did nothing wrong was you guessed it “murdered” which is the word they used.

Many of the protestors cannot comprehend nor will the media nor the politicians allow the mental consideration of “self defense”

Thankfully the jury did its job, but her feelings are purely emotional and without consideration of the facts and that is the feelings of a lot of protestors. Facts be damned, my feelings are more important — don’t you be hurting my feelings.

    • You do realize we just ignore your antagonisticly retarded posts now.

Carry on being a misiformed sheeple…

      • “The Butcher of Bakersfield” is a movie reference. Ah-nuld was made to look guilty of a massacre that he had tried to stop by the state run media. Running Man I believe was the title.

I don’t always agree with Tdiinva, but he is certainly not a tr0ll and makes better statements and arguments than a lot of the regulars here.

        • Hell yea, one of my fav Arnold movies in fact. Very rare that i see a reference to The Running Man

  10. There use to be a time when you could trust THE media to print the truth, but that time is long gone. We have grown accustomed to the media and we pick and chose which of the political fence we stand. How can we ban propaganda from the media? What is the feedback? Is this just the free-market where the media gets to print anything they want, and the truth be damned? The truth is ALL media is biased to some degree or another. I guess that’s our only consolation.

    • There was such a time? Nostalgia isn’t your friend; it tells comforting lies about the past.

  11. “Are there no depths to which the mainstream media will sink in order to pursue their race-baiting anti-gun agenda?”

    No. None whatsoever.

  12. Pushing the agenda, keep people divided,so the government can take more freedom while people are looking the other way, goes against SYG law, goes against any self-defense,goes for more gun control, goes for keeping the races divided, and incites people against each other.Just another mouthpiece for the communist in the White House.Be prepared and ready.Keep your powder dry.

  13. Years ago, I was going to be interviewed on a politically charged (non-gun) subject. I called my uncle the AP Photographer and asked him for advice. His advice was simple.

    1) Get your own tape: If they edit or manipulate your answers, you will be able to sue, using your own unedited recording of the conversation as evidence. Its up to you whether you let them know you will be getting your own audio. If your goal is for an honest conversation, full disclosure is best as it will keep them honest. If your goal is to score some bucks, then recording without their knowledge is best. Remember, even in all party consent states, you are clean. Everyone knows a recording is being made.

    2) If you can, get them to agree to air all your answers in full. In exchange you must offer that all of your answers will be X seconds or less in duration.

    Don
