Bashir Bashes Noir

Whoa Martin. Settle down dude. Yes, the National Rifle Association accepts money from the firearms industry (and over four millions members). But that does not make them evil—any more than accepting large cash donations and free private jet travel from Monsanto and then putting the company’s employees into positions of power within his administration makes Obama evil. For example. As for Mr. Simmons, quoted extensively by the Noir-bashing MSNBC duo, perhaps they should ask the hip hop impressario about his artists’ firearms-intensive lyrics, which have glamorized illegally owned guns and put over $300m into Simmons pockets. Just sayin’.

I enjoy the visceral way he says “GUNS”. It makes me laugh to note that his blood pressure rises and the vein on his forehead pops up when he says “GUNS”. The man really seems on about “GUNS”. I nominate this as the funniest video I’ve seen all week.

    1. avatar Jake W says:

lol! I was thinking the exact same thing.

  2. avatar jwm says:

If the bought and paid for talking heads of the anti’s are bashing Noir that means they fear him. Good.

    1. avatar APBTFan says:

      Bingo!

Plus I think they’re pissed they can’t rightly slam the NRA for being “so white” anymore.

      1. avatar Joke & Dagger says:

As predictable as the sun rising in th east, Alinsky tactic of attacking anybody of color or female gender leaving the liberal plantation.

    2. I think you have hit the nail right on the head.

You get the heaviest flack when you are over the target.

  3. avatar Rich says:

Yet another Brit with his knickers in a twist. What is it with these guys???

    1. avatar APBTFan says:

Apparently domestic whiners aren’t good enough so they import the finest Europeans whiners they can find.

      1. avatar Pascal says:

        LOL! that cracked me up!

        1. avatar Lucas D. says:

Plus, European whiners go much better with ripe, stinky cheese.

      2. avatar joe says:

Stinky cheese-LOL-that asshole Bashir,a non citizen always looks like he’s smelling some of that cheese-or maybe it’s just his own BO.He needs some vice grips on his nose applied with a little twist.Mr.”serious journalist”-he wouldn’t make a pimple on a journalist’s ass.Nor would that degenerate twit Piers Morgan.

    2. avatar MI9mm says:

You can’t really blame them. They were raised to be good little subjects – not citizens.

  4. avatar Greg Camp says:

So we have a Brit of Pakistani origin and a white guy explaining why African-Americans won’t listen to Colion Noir? Who’s their next target, Ice-T?

    1. No, because Ice T will drop anyone that goes after his guns, or threatens him and his. They only go after what they feel are easy targets…

      1. avatar Greg Camp says:

Noir as an easy target–let’s hope they keep thinking that.

      2. avatar 16V says:

There is a delicious irony having Ice-T play a cop on L&O SVU.

  5. avatar g says:

It’s sad how quickly these people write off Mr. Noir as some sort of NRA gimmick, completely ignoring the fact he was making videos way before he was asked to be a spokesman.

I can’t wait until Mr. Noir puts these idiots on blast in a new vid and shows them for the idiots they are.

    1. avatar JoshinGA says:

And that some 80 thousand people liked what Mr. Colion Noir was saying long before he was ever involved with the NRA.

      1. avatar Mmmtacos says:

        Agreed.

I first saw Mr. Noir’s videos a year ago and was taken aback at how, well, awesome they are. Quick, to the point, videos very produced that tout logic you would have to be a dullard in denial to dispute (which the antis certainly have no lack of). Mr. Noir is a welcome change from the other more long-winded pro2A, albeit still informative and entertaining, YouTube personalities out there.

Mr. Colion Noir had a strong fan base and that is WHY the NRA sought him out, now that fan-base will only grow with his increased exposure, and he most certainly deserves it. If anyone is “using” anyone (as if this isn’t to their mutual benefit) Mr. Noir would be the one leveraging the reach of the NRA to ensure his clear messages get their due broadcast. Regardless of the color of his skin (which is still, in this day and age, a political consideration) every pro2A citizen out there should hear what he has to say.

Keep on, Mr. Noir, bolster the pro2A crowd! I for one am more than glad for your success and look forward to more of your commentary.

  6. avatar ORGO says:

NBC isn’t even trying to hide the fact that they are blatantly anti-gun. Mr. Noir is in for a bumpy ride but I think he’s up for it. He is so much more intelligent than these guys that there is no comparison.

    1. avatar Ben in UT says:

      +1

No joke. The man is quite sharp and articulate. I’m not worried about him.

  7. avatar ML says:

Didn’t my ancestors fight a revolution a long time ago so that I’d never have to give a crap what British subjects thought of my country and its laws?

I seem to remember something like that between all the other indoctrination I got in public school.

  8. avatar APBTFan says:

The grabbers should just man up and admit they’re going to hate anything the NRA does no matter what.

  9. avatar John says:

Love what Colion does. Been watching his videos long before the NRA brought him onboard. That is the problem for those folks. They think he’s a new gimmick and they’re wrong. Colion brings great insight from his perspective and he brings it in a well thought out and informative manner and that completely baffles and infuriates the anti-gunners.

  10. avatar speedracer5050 says:

Mr. Russel Simmons: words from a man so “Hugely Popular” today that he I reduced to hawking his lie of High Fee prepaid debit cards for the Poor but High Classed Wanna Be’s in the world!! Yea I would really listen to him on gun control. In the words of the Immortal Pinky: NOT!!

  11. avatar neiowa says:

I pretty sure Obummer has already played the trump card – economic growth thru increased sales of firearms and ammunition. The ONLY program of the administration that has actually worked. Running 24/7 most of the last 5 years and now at warp speed and with months/years of backlog. Young women lined up in droves to purchase weapon and obtain CCW. Head of household, finally, assuming their proper role of family defender and purchasing shotgun or AR. The ethopian islamist enuch is GREAT.

What is a Russell Simmons? Wannabe KISS member?

“Hiphop legend” what is that? A successful welfare ponzi scammer?

What is the “African American community”? A group of deadbeats planning to move to South Africa?

  12. avatar Silver says:

Noir is simply a threat to the antis…he’s a well-spoken young minority with a brain and morals. He’s proof positive that gun rights extend beyond OFWGs, and he oozes logic and rationality.

    1. avatar Harold says:

Yep. Logic and Facts instead of Emotion and Propaganda?! My God, stop the Madness! lol.

  13. avatar Harold says:

Simmons: Another rich New Yorker with bodyguards who doesn’t think his less fortunate brethren have the right to effective (i.e. armed) defense.

  14. avatar Ralph says:

Congratulations, Collins. You know you’ve arrived when the douchebags target you.

That young man is going to be HUGE.

  15. avatar John T. says:

As APBTFan says, it’s a “no win” situation for the NRA. If the NRA does nothing to appeal to a broader range of gun owners, then it’s a racist OFWG-only organization that’s out of touch with the country. When the NRA tries to take positive action to become more welcoming and inclusive, it’s a racist organization trying to take advantage of downtrodden minorities. Either way, the “good” folk at MSNBC are going to continue with their vitriol. Personally, I’ve been impressed with Mr. Noir’s posts ever since I first saw one. I wish him well.

  16. avatar ensitu says:

I love it when these Diverse White Liberals act-out in front of the camera! Every time a Liberal goes racist on TV another brother says “That’s Wack man!” every tiny bit of truth helps preserve America

  17. avatar rtempleton says:

If you don’t think regulatory capture of the FDA, USDA, SEC, the entire energy industry, etc. is a problem, I don’t know what to tell you. Industry money of any kind has a corrosive effect on democracy and it’s not a partisan political issue. It doesn’t make them evil, it just makes them corrupt.

I am getting tired of petty us-vs-them party politics on this site. I am a gun owning liberal, I was involved with occupy (though I didn’t camp out), and I can assure you that there were others there that were similarly pro-2A. Robert, you say earlier that gun-advocates should reach out to dems and I agree, but then you turn around and call liberals “wusses” and “fascists” and so on.

Most liberals in my experience aren’t afraid of guns, but they are afraid of extreme right wing culture and it really makes it hard to get liberals to support the 2nd A if you alienate them from the beginning. I’m not saying that right wing gun owners don’t have a right to their political opinion (that would be the 1st A) but strategically, it’s not helping. Nor is trolling the internet looking for the very worst of the very worst of partisan TV hacks.

The only people who benefit from half of america utterly hating the other half of america are the people who own and maintain the status quo. Gun ownership is a wedge issue to keep people distracted from real issues, like the collapsing middle class or the invulnerability of major banks from prosecution.

The battle will be to convince people on both sides that this is true.

  18. avatar ProfBathrobe says:

Having Gun Appreciation Day on MLK Jr. Day is offensive?! Listen you piece of ignorant libelist trash, Reverend King was barred in his attempts to carry a handgun by a racist establishment that didn’t want him the chance to defend himself and his family from the VERY real danger of assault. How dare you twist his struggle, the struggle of the most important American civil rights leader of the late 20th century, into an outright lie that dishonors his memory and the pain he went through to achieve equal rights?! Russell Simmons, YOU. ARE. A. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!

  19. avatar juliesa says:

Here’s the twitter fight between Mr Noir and that out-of-touch idiot Simmons:

    http://twitchy.com/2013/03/08/russell-simmons-gets-schooled-by-gun-enthusiast-colion-noir-turns-to-yoga-for-comfort/

    1. avatar crndl says:

didn’t know he was a j.d. too, nice, go mr. noir 🙂

      1. avatar Pascal says:

Yes, I read that too. Damn! you go Mr. Noir! I show your videos during all my NRA Pistol Classes and the students always want to see more.

  20. avatar dwb says:

“nowhere is that claim going to ring more hollow than in the African American community”

    says the white guy.

that said, hows gleck beck and the NRA getting along anyway?

  21. avatar Sixpack70 says:

I love how the media gets into a giant circle jerk when they are in total agreement with their guest on a subject. I thought they were going to need a cigarette at the end of the video! There were no hard questions asked, no devil’s advocate. Just nod and “hummm” to each other. It almost felt rehearsed. They just can’t stand that Mr. Colion Noir does not fit into their victim paradigm. He is a self reliant man who is successful and intelligent and owns firearms.

  22. avatar DrewN says:

I will posit that taking large sums of money from Monsanto is, in fact, about as evil as it gets. I’d rather work for the Sinolas then those evil B@#$%^&*(.

  23. avatar Pascal says:

We need to somehow get Zo Nation and AmidstTheNoise involved as well for a social media full court press. What would be great is if there are also some Hispanic, Asians well known in various gun communities and others who can climb on board. Then, they would have to attack all these groups and not just the OFWG.

  24. avatar John Fritz says:

Does that Bashir guy always act like he’s shitting himself when he gets excited or does Mr. Noir really have him that upset?

    1. avatar Sixpack70 says:

I think he is upset because he can’t believe people other than OFWGs own guns.

  25. avatar dededede says:

Wow, there’s a lot of venom in his voice.

  26. avatar abo412 says:

Where can i buy some of those silver bullets?

  27. avatar EagleScout87 says:

    From his facebook account:

    He wrote:

“There are web sites posting my personal information, my moms address, my dads address, and other family members. Other than to be malicious and put people close to me in danger why would someone do this? These are supposed to be the peaceful people. I crack jokes but never attack people on a personal level. Ironically, now I really feel the need to arm my family and friends. #IsItBecauseImBlack?”

  28. avatar joe says:

Russell Simmons?Isn’t he the one marketing his own credit cards to rip off minority consumers?

    1. Yes, but that doesn’t mean anything huh…..sarcasm.

  29. avatar Soccerchainsaw says:

That video was 4+ minutes of mutual admiration, punctuated with debunked “facts”.

Here’s an idea for Mr. Noir, help jumpstart a pilot program in a majority African American neighborhood to educate and train for effective defense of self and community. Then watch the crime stats drop and spread the word to other similar communities.

Perhaps then a Mexican mayor will then learn of this idea and it will spread like wildfire.
