Where the ability to defend myself and family are concerned, these people who would strip me of that ability are my acknowledged enemy. I have only one desire and that is to be left alone in pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. I consider interference with those God given rights a declaration of war. If it is civil war, secession and the destruction of the United States of America that they desire, let them continue down the path of enslavement. They were not elected to rule, but rather, to administrate the will of the people in accordance with our Constitutional contract. They are in breach of that contract. I, for one, will not live under an authoritarian rule nor acknowledge any right they may claim to rule over me.
The efforts of “antigun” legislators, while understandable, is severely misguided and will likely result in a national backlash that will further polarize our nations citizenship and worsen the ability of our legislative branch to achieve any significant progress on other imperative outstanding issues….Instead of focusing on the actual causes of the recent tragedies they are merely focusing on the “stolen tools” the insane terrorists used to carry out there actions and in some cases responding EXACTLY as they (the insane terrorists) wanted them to by over indexing with a radically obtuse legislative assault on sane, responsible, law abiding citizens. We should hold our elected officials to a higher and more thoughtful standard…Legislation like this is reactive, simplistic and downright reckless in its scope and should not be tolerated.
