“Dressed in camouflage gear and armed with two semi-automatic rifles, Dmitry Vinogradov shot dead three men and two women at their desks before giving himself up to security guards,” brisbanetimes.com.au reports. “Another man and a woman were wounded. Vinogradov had gone on a five-day drinking binge after being jilted by a pharmacist at the firm.” Here’s the text of that social media massacre message:  “What I saw and learned in my life nourished in me a hatred of mankind. I hate mankind and life itself. I see only one way to justify it: Kill as many pieces of human compost as possible … this is the only way to make the world better.'” Apparently Russia’s gun control laws also fail to make the world a better—or at least safer—place. Meanwhile, the Russian government’s response is to consider banning video games. Go figure. [h/t -g]

  1. Banning video games, retarded as that is, makes as much sense as the calls for creating more unarmed victims that we usually hear after on of these incidents.

Numbnuts had been on a drinking binge prior to the shootings, maybe the Russians aught to ban vodka. See how well that works for them.

  2. Isn’t a five day drinking binge in Russia just called five days. Everything in Russia is assumed alcohol inclusive. The Russian to worry about is the sober one, he is planning something.

  3. I wish these clowns would just do the honorable thing and blow their own head off instead of killing other folks. And I wish the cops would stop taking these guys alive.

    • If they MUST kill, why they don’t try to enter a bank and blow some sociopathic bankers up? Or some psychopathic members of parliament? No, they’ll just shoot co workers, or students or whatnot. Those killers are cowards.

Also, I’m kinda surprised that he breezed past “security” with that incredibly suspicious looking backpack, no questions asked. How many people show up for work with a backpack that towers a foot over their heads?
