I wouldn’t be that happy with someone pulling guns from my person (even if it was a cop) and aiming the muzzle hither and yon. My name is Safety Suzie and I approve this message.

  1. Talk about over doing the “new york” reload. At least with a load out like that you’ll get some exercise just walking around.

  2. This reminds me of that video from a few years back. It was talking about how a proper school uniform policy will prevent kits from bringing weapons into school. To illustrate their point they had a kid with a mess of guns on his person.

The kicker was the long barrel shotgun he had slide down his pants leg.

  3. I’m told that pirates used to carry 5 or 6 pistols on them- back in the 17th and 18th centuries when pistols were flintlock single shot and would be tossed after use, it made sense. This…doesnt…this is the exact reason magazines were invented.

Could you guys imagine tossing out a kimber everytime you wanted to shoot? lol

    • Roll, maybe you never saw those old westerns like the Lone Ranger or Roy Rogers. They would chase the bad guy whilr the bad guy was shooting at them. When the bad guy shot empty he would throw the gun at the good guy. Judging by hollywood the west must have been littered with empty colts.

        • Those guns were Colt SAA for the most part. They were cartridge guns and you could reload them without swapping cylinders. Apparently none of the bad guys carried any extra ammo.

      • Even better: the original Superman? The man of steel would stand with hands on his hips while the baddy unloaded into his chest… only to duck when he then threw the gun at him!!!

  4. you can’t see a single one, they’re right!

that explains away all those strange and unsightly bulges when he’s wearing the jacket. they must be some kind of growths.

  5. What a bunch of half assed mall ninjas, why can’t people get a good handgun (or two) in a suitable defensive caliber and learn them well.

  6. I believe the point was to show how much fire power a single person can carry on them with a single concealed carry permit. (From the last statement the fine gentleman without muzzle discipline says)

    • I guess you only carry professionally-buffed $2000 Dan Wesson show-pieces with the finest hand-crafted Austrian ammunition?

  7. I just love it when Farago posts articles I can’t see on my iPad or iPhone. Embedded Flash content doesn’t work on mobile devices, especially the hundreds of millions of iOS devices out there.

The mobile version of the site is otherwise quite nice on my iPhone, though.

  8. My CHL instructor had 10 concealed guns on his person during the class. They ranged in size from a NAA 22 Magnum on a kydex holster necklace up to his EDC a Glock 23. He was wearing a polo shirt and jeans, that’s it. It illustrated the point much more effectively than this.

  9. Can’t see a one?!?!?!?!?!?!?! You can see that’s he’s packing almost all of them at a quick glance unless you are legally blind or have no idea what to look for.

You can always see a jacket carry of anything even mildly middle-sized because it will stretch the fabric – see all those creases? Next thing is the motion, if you are free jacket carrying that gun is a pendant weight and swings like grandfather clock when you move. Not mention the full look of all those pockets. Put your hands in your pockets to slow the swing? That’s easily detected too.

Lose the jacket and this cat is printing like Gutenberg. Once again, sidearms are weight and weight that ain’t stapled to you body will move when you do, sort of.
The tactical pants always scream “I’m CCW, but I’m trying to be tacticool”. Instant draw to all the bumps and protrusions that come from carrying IWB, let alone on a belt. I don’t care how pancake the holster, there’s always a visual tell, always.

He had a couple that might have been a bit of a challenge, but almost none of those were even close to stealth on their own.

    • I have to agree with 16V. The tacticool pants, like 5.11s, just make me give them a second take when I see ’em on the street. How ’bout jeans and a t-shirt with an appendix carry rig, like most people hang out in? I see tacticool donkeys all the time, cuz I use to walk around like that myself when I CC’d in my early days. Now, I think I blend in well with shorts and a t-shirt. You are either appearing outwardly as hard target or just a dude walking down the street drawing no attention.

I think what you meant was “ESPECIALLY if it was a cop”

  12. I’m far from a pro at spotting who is carrying and who is not, but this guy “printed” all over the place. Plus the weight of all these guns pulling on his clothes means having to wear an industrial strength belt sinched up tight to keep his pants from falling down. I know I sure wouldn’t want to walk around carrying 30-40 pounds of hardware on my body all day. I didn’t have the benefit of sound when watching this, so I’m assuming that this was NOT recommended as an everyday type of “Be prepared” concealed carry.
