Yes, barry and schumer and difi and pelosi and the clintons and the u.n. and mikeybnumbers are all very concerned about our 2a rights.

  2. avatar bill says:

Oh man, I threw up a little in my mouth just reading that.

  3. avatar Cameron S. says:

So his record makes it clear, huh?

Like his record of supporting all the Anti-2a legislation in his home state of Illinois? The only state that still doesn’t allow CCW… the state that houses Chicago? His voting record of supporting the clinton ban, and in this decade saying that he would be behind reinstating another clinton-type ban?

No, he supports “Sporting”… and that’s about it.

    1. avatar Wiebelhaus says:

Want to talk about Romney’s Firearms voting record?

  4. avatar BLAMMO says:

    “Why won’t anybody believe me?!!”

  5. avatar Curzen says:

What I don’t understand is: why do people believe Romney when he is suddenly for 2A rights after his terrible record as governor but not Obama?

    1. avatar Aharon says:

Some weeks ago, Ralph posted a comment and link to a MA pro-gun political advocacy organization that gave Romney’s record an overall good rating. Personally, I don’t trust and believe Romney or Obama about anything. They are politicians. Romney knows that if he wants to avoid becoming a lame-duck president with pro-gun Congressional members and not alienate voters next run he can’t turn on his support base.

    2. avatar RobertM says:

The question isn’t if Romney will be good at 2A issues. The question is will he be better then Obama and I think most agree he will be better then Obama.

      Thanks
      Robert

  6. avatar cycl0ps says:

Wow thank you Curzen. At least I’m not alone in this train of thought.

  7. avatar Aharon says:

Leadership needed on the second amendment
    http://www.thetimesnews.com/articles/amendment-59016-few-president.html

A good, clear, and concise response piece directed to Obama as to why the RKBA community does not trust him and sees through his dirty games that costs lives.

  8. avatar tdiinva says:

For those who aren’t following it the gentleman who did the anti-Islamic video that nobody saw was “brought in for questioning” at midnight last night. Obama doesn’t believe in any of the Bill of Rights First Amendment throught the Tenth. I have said this before but I it needs to be said again. The Bill of Rights stands and falls as whole. If you don’t 2nd you don’t support the 1st. We now have proof of that.

    1. avatar Aharon says:

As part of the man’s parole from a prior conviction on Internet identity-theft fraud he was not allowed to use the Internet without his parole officer’s approval. He was brought in under that pre-text. A federal judge will determine if he violated his parole or not. Otherwise, you’re correct in that Obama (or IMO any modern politician) does not give a hoot about the Bill of Rights.

      1. avatar tdiinva says:

Do you believe that he would have been brought in if there had been no attacks in the Middle East this week? Obama is a wannabe dictator and while I do not believe the Obama is a religious Muslim (he is undoubtedly an atheist) he was raised in a Muslim culture and is very pro-Muslim.

I guess I will break down and by an M-1A.

        1. avatar Curzen says:

citation needed that the guy being brought in for questioning was initiated by Obama. Until you do so you are a secret chinese unamerican communist instigator.

        2. avatar Aharon says:

Without the violence the Feds would possibly not have been aware of the stupid video. I did write that he was brought in under the parole violation pre-text (as the primary rationale to haul him in). True, Obama is a wanna be dictator. Good luck with the M-1A.

PS I think Romney is wanna be Monarch.

        3. avatar tdiinva says:

Aharon: I am descended from a Canadian Monarchist and my best man is a Bowes-Lyon.

Curzon: Your right, Obama didn’t order it, he send his lackey Eric Holder.. They also put pressure on Google to pull it but Google told him to pound sand. I have been accused of being a “Panda Hugger” by people who are much more important than some pudknocker on the internet.

        4. avatar Curzen says:

tdiinva: again, a citation would be nice to go along with what so far looks like wild and baseless accusations of a deranged mind.

        5. avatar tdiinva says:

Rhetorical device. Neither you nor I are privy to Presidential phone records but if you believe that this was a “routine” event than you are lacking in mental capability.

        6. avatar Curzen says:

nah, it just means I’m not a conspiracy nutjob who flings around wild accusations without any means of backing them up at all

        7. avatar tdiinva says:

Now that I have time here is the evidence:

(1)The official US Government position as stated by UN Ambassador Susan Rice on Fox News Sunday is that the riots were a “spontaneous” outburst caused by an offensive video. This is an outright lie. The Libyan Government and US intelligence warned the State Department of the threat days before the event. The Video is a red herring. (If you want a citation send Robert your JWICS address and I will send you the citations but you better hurry because I retire in 12 days. What do you mean you don’t access to JWICS?)

          http://hotair.com/archives/2012/09/16/rice-benghazi-attack-was-spontaneous-libya-no-it-wasnt/

(2)The administration pressured Google to pull video. Google told them pound sand.

          http://mashable.com/2012/09/15/youtube-white-house/

(3)White House tells CJCS Martin Dempsey to put pressure on Rev Terry Jones to pull his support from the video. Of course Terry never heard of the video prior to the September 11, 2012 attacks.

          http://uk.news.yahoo.com/top-u-military-officer-calls-pastor-over-film-190209814.html

So let’s see, the Administration lies about a terrorist attack and instead blames it on a video and an obscure Florida pastor. They try to pressure Google into censoring the video and has the top military officer in the country call Rev Jones. Sounds to me that Obama failing to get he wants through subtle pressure goes full Boss and sends the local STASI to intimidate the guy who made the video.

        8. He may or not have been brought in. But then, there is a little difference between going to an internet cafe to check his email (maybe no one would have noticed) and creating and publishing a highly controversial video and putting it on you tube. Now the latter was just bound to get someone’s attention and yes, he would have been brought in. But you would not have ever found out about it.

If the video happens to fan flames in the middle east, and the end result is a few dead, then not only does he get his parole officer’s attention, but the whole world knows about it.

And, in case you doubt the numbnuts in question knew what he was doing (and knew that it was bound to get him in trouble) he hired someone to be the spokesperson.
Lesson is, if you are going to violate your parole, don’t post the evidence against you on youtube.

  9. avatar Ross says:

Right… I’m calling BS on that one, Barry does not support my right to own the type of firearms I like, only the type he likes, which we all know is none of them.

  10. avatar Silver says:

The only people less trustworthy than politicians are their spokesmen.

  11. avatar Ralph says:

Did that jackhole even read the Democraptic Party platform?

we can work together to enact commonsense improvements – like reinstating the assault weapons ban and closing the gun show loophole

Whenever I see the phrase “commonsense improvements,” I reach for a jar of vaseline.

  12. avatar Rabbi says:

Lying POS. The obamination installed an anti-gun AG, an anti-gun head of ATF and two anti-gun Supreme Court justices which we will have to suffer with for the next 3-4 decades.

  13. avatar Blake says:

Every single promise made by the current administration has an expiration date.

  14. avatar Greg Camp says:

Two things make me nauseated about gun grabbers:

    1. They invariably claim to support the Second Amendment.

    2. They invariably ask for my trust.

The first is either a lie or a distortion of the word support into something unrecognizable, and as for the second, they’ll never get it. Just because their side all join hands, light candles, and sing Kumbaya doesn’t mean that we’re as silly. We don’t believe in peace at all costs. We don’t feel the need for consensus on everything. And we will never surrender.

  15. avatar Leon says:

Curzen and Cyclops I agree with you.
Why would anyone believe the flip flopper Romney?

    1. avatar jwm says:

Because the flip flopper Romney isn’t giving voice and the backing of the white house to difi, the clintons, bloomberg, pelosi and the u.n. And there”s still the federal judges and supreme court justices that may be appointed by barry.

  16. avatar g says:

I think it fits certain political agendas to caricature our current president as a Godless Socialistic Evil Tyrant that eats your babies and gives terrorist fist bumps. The past 4 years have seen record gun sales because everyone’s been ringing the bells of the apocalypse, that Mr. Obama was coming himself to take all our guns. Some folks were screaming they were moving to Canada or Australia back in ’08 because McCain had lost.

Well, it’s 2012… the world hasn’t quite ended, though I’m sure there’s still plenty of things we wish were better. I don’t agree with the president on every issue, but hey… we’re out of Iraq, Bin Laden is dead, the American auto industry lives, healthcare is more accessible, etc. And I still have my guns, hurray!

I still fail to see how Mr. Mitt “I’M NOT OBAMA, BUT HEY LIKE ME” Romney is a compelling alternative, given his propensity to change his views to whatever suits his current group of friends.

    1. avatar RobertM says:

At the Federial level the Democrates haven’t been willing to touch 2a legistation. It is simple. After they passed the 1996 gun ban the NRA as well as other 2a groups went after the Dem that voted for the bill and many Dem lost there site. There are many Democrates out there that support 2a. Hell even a state like Maryland with it one party Rule many of the Dem try not to get on the bad side of MSI / NRA as they know it could cost them there seats. But even with the Democrates not wanting to hurt there changes for this election. Obama has already removed some of the due process on ATF gun grabbing. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/obama-executive-orders-impose-new-gun-rules/

      Thanks

Everyone seems to forget that Registration leads to Confiscation leads to Democide.

Old Armenian Saying: Those who want to take your gun, want to take your life.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that under sodium pentothal, the gun-banners would admit that they want all gun owners killed (to make their utopian society).

    Anyone disagree?

    1. avatar RobertM says:

Not sure they want us killed but I will agree they want us as Surfs doing there bidding.

      Thanks

  20. avatar Chas says:

Yes, Barack Obama is a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment.

    And I’m Abraham Lincoln.

  21. avatar racer88 says:

“President Obama’s record makes clear that he supports and respects the Second Amendment and the tradition of gun ownership in this country, and we’ll continue to fight back against any attempts to mislead voters”

Read that again! I personally believe the wording is no accident and reveals what Obama and his acolytes REALLY believe.

There’s a KEY word in there, and it is” TRADITION

Traditions can be changed or done away with. Gun ownership in the U.S.A. is not a “tradition.” It is a RIGHT. Blowing off fireworks on the 4th of July is a tradition. Gun ownership was made a right and is the very foundation of establishing this free country.

By demoting gun ownership to “tradition” status, it leaves the door open for the antis to change or outlaw that tradition.

  22. avatar philthegardner says:

hahahahahahahahaha – geez luise, that was a good laugh. thanks Barry.

  23. avatar GS650G says:

Sure Obama supports the 2A, just like he is for deficit reduction and prudent financial management.

  24. avatar paramedic70002 says:

Does anyone else imagine the WH brainstorming session on the 2A going like this?

“How do we get the American public to realize that I am pro-2A”
“We’ll just go out there and tell them.”
    “Never work.”
    “Try it anyway.”
“But you’ve signed pro-gun bills into law! and no anti-gun bills! Surely your record on gun rights…”
“But they keep bringing up all that old stuff…”
“Ancient history boss, we’re in the here and now. Your pro-hunter note is circulating the net again. Might sell for big money.”
“Hunter schmunter. Do you see ‘hunting’ in the Constitution? I’m a Con scholar, you know. I used to be against handguns, then Michelle told me that rural people need guns. She’s got a point. And the Supreme Court sealed that deal. Bigger fish to fry in the next four years.”
“Maybe you could go shooting for the media, maybe at a military base, or try some dove hunting?”
“Seriously? And I’ll get Dick Cheney to teach me too, right? Just go make the statement.”

    Nah, me neither.

  25. avatar Mark Smith says:

As president, I haven’t seen him help along any anti-2A legislation. Good enough for me.
