M3GI Preview: Foghorn At Play

As the Crimson Trace Midnight 3-Gun Invitational draws near, Nick got some last-minute practice while I was treated to the world’s best possible 3-Gun beginner’s training (along with another half-dozen newbies) by Top Shot icon Iain Harrison himself . . .

Fortunately for me, there were no cameras rolling when I cautiously picked my way through the simple practice stage that Iain had set up for us. He gently corrected me when my AR’s downward-pointed muzzle wandered slightly across the 180-degree plane before the timer even started. He told all of us that DQs are to be expected in competition because, as he put it, “If you’re not close to the edge, you’re taking up too much room.”

Well said.
