As a metaphor, it’s perfect. The Dodd-Frank Act was supposed to improve the economy by improving business ethics or something like that. Instead, it has improved nothing, and the added billions in compliance costs have destroyed or crippled many companies.
So, indeed, the bullets are aimed in the proper direction: when you pull the trigger, it shoots you through the head.

America might implode one of these days because the ignorant sheeple masses knelt down before the likes of fascist elitists such as Dodd & Frank. If or when our society really drops hard then those two will then relocate to a tropical island and live in luxury while the American people suffer.

Hint: that belt is not wrapped around his neck. It’s a belt-fed weapon. But the belt also has complete rounds on both sides of the feed slot, so maybe it was meant to look like it wraps around his neck and not thru the weapon and he’s just not very good at drawing.

I actually enjoy reading both the online and offline editions of Businessweek.
I also get a kick out of seeing firearm imagery appear in an unexpected context.
As soon as this came up, I just had to send it in.
Glad it was good for a chuckle or two…
