Weatherby is here showing off a prototype offshoot of their new Vanguard Series 2 (which is currently sitting in my FFL waiting for my Texas driver’s license to come back). It’s called the “Hog Reaper” and features iron sights on the barrel (of which I am a big fan), a matte black finish and a custom stock with skulls all over it. I could do without the skulls myself, but it seems to be popular with hunters. No word on price or availability, especially since they literally just finished off this first prototype.
