I like it in the front. I like it in the back. It’s better on my ankle. Put it on my hip. I like it Miami Vice style, under my arm. I hide it in my purse. It’s more fun in my fanny (fanny pack). So many fun places to conceal your gun. A lot has to do with the type and size. So where do you keep it?

  1. I keep mine usually in the small of my back, about 330 to 6 o’clock. I seldom use my shoulder rig (Texas laws being what they are). If I don’t want or can’t have one of my larger weapons, I have two that I can put in a pocket (holstered of course), or on the ankle. Thing I like about those two is it becomes very easy to drop one in and make a quick run, or use them to loaf around the house should I have that opportunity. As for the picture, ok I’m awake now. Careful you’ll put an eye out with those things.

  2. 4 o’clock IWB in a Remora holster, or front pocket in an Uncle Mike’s pocket holster. Boring, I know, but effective.

  3. To answer the question asked by the headline, I carry wherever it is legal for me to do so.

As to how I carry, it’s generally either IWB or OWB at ~3:30-4:30. I sometimes add in (or replace with) a pistol in a pocket holster, either in the main pocket of my pants on the strong-side, or in the main outer pocket of my coat, again on the strong-side.

  4. Wow, now those are some nice guns. The lil pistol is also pretty cute. I like all the carry styles except for the belly holster because things can go bad or get blown off really quick. I’ve always loved shoulder holsters, so that would be my top choice even though it’s not as practical as IWB.

  5. IWB at 3:00 in a Crossbreed SuperTuck Deluxe underneath a Charlie Sheen shirt in the summer or a light coat/heavy jacket in the winter.

  6. Depending on just what I’m carrying,
    the weather, and other factors,
    Either iwb, at 3:30 – 4:00
    Internal vest pocket
    or shoulder rig.

If unconcealed, strong side hip holster.

  7. Self Defense Tip: Before drawing your gun, attempt to dazzle your attacker by switching your high beams to “ON”.

  8. Cold much? When I grow up, I wanna be a gun fashion photographer!

    I carry a 4″ Kimber .45ACP with a N82 Tactical IWB holster at the 4 o’clock position.

  9. You could always use the concealed carry method used by Capt Jack Harkness in the Dr. Who episode “Bad Wolf.” The Doctor and his companions were trapped in a futuristic satellite where they broadcast game shows to earth 24×7. The thing was, when you lose on these shows, you really lose. On “Weakest Link,” if you were pronounced to be the weakest link, the “Anne-droid” would disintegrate you. On Big Brother, eviction from the house meant eviction from life. Capt Jack found himself trapped on the set of “What Not to Wear” with two snarky robots only to discover the makeover they had in mind also extended to his body (“we can attach his legs to his chest”). Early in the show they had “defabricated” him to get rid of his old clothes, and he’s standing there nude as they discuss his fate. As he realizes what they’re going to do, the following exchange takes place:

Captain Jack Harkness: [after listening to Trin-e and Zu-Zana discuss what they’re going to do to him] Hold on, ladies, I don’t want to have to shoot either one of you.
    Zu-Zana: But you’re unarmed.
Trine-e: [as Jack reaches behind his back] You’re naked.
Trine-e: [Jack has just revealed a small gun that he now points at Trin-e] But that’s a Compact Laser Delux.
Zu-Zana: Where were you hiding that?
Captain Jack Harkness: [with the gun pointing at Zu-Zana] You *really* don’t want to know. [Blows the robots away]

  10. Mainly a Wilderness Safepacker; open carry strong side with a Bianchi 7001; or an IWB – either a Mitchell’s ARG, or a Blade-Tech Phantom.

  11. And a Spyderco Navaja fighting folder in one pocket, and a Cold Steel Recon I folder to round me off.

  12. .38 snubbie or .380 – in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster in my right hip pocket. Looks like I’m carrying a wallet or cell phone, if anything.

  13. I have an N-frame revolver I carry for hiking and backpacking the great north – which I carry in a shoulder rig.

Otherwise OC is a strongside holster about 3:30
