Guns on Campus Prepare Kids for Later Life

Our friends at waynepost.com have posted a letter to the editor that attempts the impossible: internet sarcasm. See what I did there?

I don’t know why the media have to make such a big deal about the kindergartner in Texas who brought a loaded gun to school. Let’s have a little perspective . . .

For months now, the National Rifle Association and its allies in the Texas Legislature have been pushing for a law to allow college students to carry concealed guns on campus. And well they should. They never know when they might have to protect themselves against some professor spouting crazy liberal lies.

That kindergartner is obviously a precocious child. His parents should be proud to be preparing him so early for the life he’ll face later on.
