I was sitting outside one of the cabins with some friends at the NRA Whittington Centre this past May & we had a similar sized herd of mule deer wander past within 30′.
I guess they’re used to gunfire, as we had occasions to interrupt range shoots as groups of them walked through during firing.
I’ll be over in the US in a week’s time & no doubt the deer will be evident only by their absence as soon as I buy my tags………
I wish we had that problem in WA
