Question of the Day: Hopkins Shooter Had Legal Gun, VA CCW. And?

“The Arlington man who shot a doctor at Johns Hopkins Hospital before killing his mother and himself last week legally bought his gun,” WTOP reports. “Paul Warren Pardus legally bought the 32-caliber Keltec pistol a few years ago at a Lorton [VA] gun shop that’s now gone out of business. Pardus had a license to carry a concealed weapons in Virginia, but not in Baltimore where the shooting occurred Thursday morning.” So . . . what? USA Today asks if there’s a connection between the shooting and “increasing frustration among patients dealing with a broken health care system,” while the PR meister at the Cleveland Clinic says “people are very stressed out with home foreclosures and we’re seeing a rise in charity care numbers.” What’s your take?
