I’m cheating a bit here. The Kel-Tec RFB is as easy to buy as any of the Florida gunmaker’s more popular products (which would be all of them). But the Kel-Tec RFB’s not like any of the gunmaker’s other products. For one thing, it’s a bullpup. A Rifle Forward-ejecting Bullpup, to be exact. But don’t get to thinking that those cases fly forwards. Nope. Thanks to a patented dual-extractor system, a spent case remains in the ejection chute until a following case pushes it out, or you tilt the RFB downwards or operate the charging handle. In all cases, the spent cases gently drop from from a chute to the left of the barrel. On the business side of the gun, there’s no “gentle” about it . .

We’re talking about an extremely accurate, highly maneuverable 7.62 caliber weapon. The standard mag holds “only” 20 rounds, but they’re metric FAL type mags that “drop free.” No tilting in required. Available in greater capacity configurations.

Yours for $1880. Review to follow. I hope. Oh, and the rabbi’s umbrella kicks ass, too.

  2. I'm not sure if that is you modeling the Kel-Tec or not, but aren't you just objectifying the person holding the RFB?

I'm sure you'll be attracting many people's whose interest in the picture is 'tangential" to the firearm being displayed?

I"m not leering (sorry not my type which happens to be my wife) but I'm pointing out that others might.

Maybe in the interest insuring everyone knows your motives are as pure as snow, you can stop posting pictures of yourself that might attract unwanted comments or thoughts, eh?

  3. It's worth noting that the RFB is not the only bullpup using the 'ejection chute.' The FN FS2000 uses a similar ejection system, complete with a little door at the end that prevents dirt/sand from getting in.
